Stumbled onto Veruca Salt because of reading Dave Grohl's book and read (not in the book-someplace else) that he dated Louise Post years ago, started listening and can't stop-like a kid in a candy store-it's the driving guitar, the gripping drumming, the flat and sharp notes, the poetic-kickass lyrics, combined with profound lyrics, like in Seether-"Though she is not like other girls, I know how to conceive her", (plus a zillion others), Yes and their vocals. I keep finding great song after great song-"It's Holy" feels holy, fun purposeful. A theme in Grohl's book is doing music because it's who you are and it's what you have to do. I see this theme in Veruca Salt and think it makes them Amazing too! I used to run marathons and now in middle age have a few extra pounds and can get motivated to run more with the right music. This is it! - their music gets me out the door running and I feel lucky to have found them because I love all their music. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is limiting music amazing? Since then, pop music become infested with auto tune, modern rock became dreadfully dull and well...I don't know, just turn off the radio and find good stuff online :)

You'll probably have to wait until next year, assuming they do a tour after the new record comes out (which, by the way things are going, is incredibly likely). They leave for Australia at the end of September, and I doubt, at this point, they'll book anything else in the US between the end of July and the end of September. But by the time the album hits, buzz of their return will be nice and settled, and they'll have more liberty to tour more places if they see fit.
