I did NOT transcribe this music. It was transcribed by Bryan Criswell (u/BryCris).
You can find the music in this drive here:

5:12 Movement 2 (Ballad)
7:52 Movement 3 (Drum Break)
10:09 Movement 4 (Closer)
props for using the split cams at the beginning
It took *so* long but it was so worth it for the final result, even if the audio got a bit dirty
Amazing video
Underrated channel, you are crazy talented and I can't thank you enough for all your work
Honestly I can't take all the credit. Most of it goes to the people that transcribe the music. I'm just the guy that puts it behind the videos, but I really appreciate the kind words. Comments like yours are why I keep making videos
Wow! Thanks so much for the link to theGoogle Drive with all of the transcriptions! This is awesome!
Thank you so much for your hard work🥹🙏🏻💕
Just came to learn the ballad, wasn’t disappointed
really cool transcription!
I learned the whole thing. I love it
Awesome bro
3:07 "bent leg is shit" he speaking fax rn
i think he said “bent leg as shit” and proceeded to do the following sets bent leg as shit
after a year, i retract this statement. bent leg is better.
11:27 - 11:55 is so satisfying to me
Ah nice the whole battery on snare 😁. The actual snares at 2:19 “my turn 😈”
Finally, an accurate one
The 3/4 dutting before he says "Bird-Shotgun" is purty cool imo
Thanks for the video! Although there was a lot of phasing in between videos when they were split screened. Is that something you can fix or is it just part of the software?
It was probably something on my end. I've never done anything like that before and despite spending hours on it, I knew it wouldn't turn out perfect
@@TheBANDit_67 it’s all good, I’m just trying to work on the five let part in the snare Break when it’s spilt cam and it’s hard to make out where everything is.
Can you please do Louisiana Stars 2019?
8:11 How do you put a little staff above the original staff like at m.18
Can you do one for tenor?
@TheBANDit do you do tenor transcriptions
Could you do a 17 Cavs vid??
Can someone explain the 5:6 tuplets in movement 3?
ive been doing percussion (mainly mallets) for most of my life but i have no clue what the tuplets with polyrhythms written above them mean. is there a name for them? i have no idea what to search to find what they mean, i've just got to know
You’re looking for Nested Tuplets
oookay wait i think i get it -- the first number is the amount of notes played during the time that the second number usually takes.
@@foomfs Yeah that’s it exactly. For example, if you have a 5:4 it means 5 notes in the space of 4 (usually eighth notes but it can be any subdivision). These can also be written as weird tuplets but ratios often time make more sense for odd groupings. Hope that helps!
@@AskChristopherP no he isn't.
i love you
I thought people might enjoy some BD '17 during this dark time for the activity
@@TheBANDit_67 yeah and the bd writing is so clean
Is there any possibility of a a bluecoats 2017 transcription? I've looked on the internet and have only found the opener and the drum break.
if im correct there exists a google drive with every dci show like ever
2:21 for future reference

I need to lear how to read sheet music I’m a self taught and only have learned by hearing. But if I want to learn and get good I need to learn how to read. This channel crazy though.
It’s not too bad usually! Just a bit of simple math. Where it gets tough for me is when you see the 5s and 7s over the notes, but it’s easier to understand those by researching nested tuplets. Good luck!
Boom shocka 🔥🔥 3:45
Do the black tips make the snares quieter? Or
If I remember correctly, those sticks with the rubber tips were actually for practicing. Given the fact that they had ~20 snares in the opener, they used those sticks to make the snares quieter so they don't overpower the brass.
@@TheBANDit_67 Smart, thanks. Sick transcription btw

Is there a Contra one?
if you look hard enough, maybe
I don’t see how people do this style of marching HBCU all day
ignore my last comment i get what you meant, but they could say the same about HBCU honestly it’s just a matter of what style their hs band was and they grew to like that. 🤷🏻♂️
Anyone know what they sayin at 3:52
Dut dut dut poop shotgun
@@nuntachaporn3346 thank u
Sounds like “poop shotgun” but he’s actually saying “rim shot god”
@@a-dizzlem-shizzy1206 “Rim Shot Gok”, is what they’re saying, I believe. A “gok” is a drumming term used in battery/drum line music to describe a certain type of snare rim shot.
NGL, I would have been bored to death playing this music. It's so painfully stock and vanilla.
