Thank you for such an in depth review of this book. I was shocked to learn that some of my work wound up as a pull out item in this tome. This book holds a special place in my heart.
@@JulesBurt The ID badge pullout near the end of the book (The Steve "Obi Wan" Sansweet badge - p. 105). It was part of a charity event and even had light up lightsabers (which, of course, they could not replicate for the book).
I got this as Christmas gift way back when it first came out. It is safely tucked away along with my other Star Wars books, and I enjoy it regularly. Great, great book.
I bought The Star Wars Vault two or three years ago, it featured so much for my childhood/teenage years as a Star Wars fan...the books, the comics, the Letterset transfers, the trading cards, and fan club "Bantha Tracks". Of special interest were the interviews on the CD's. A genuine find.
@@JulesBurt There's some interesting interviews about the radio adaptations on one of the CD's - I'm looking forward to the unofficial book on the radio dramas to be published in July: "The Winds That Shook the Stars". One thing that surprised me in your video was the fact that my favourite author, Marion Zimmer Bradley had signed that MidAmericon Program Book - I must have read through the Star Wars Vault dozens of times...and never spotted it.
Lol, not surprised you didn't spot the Marion Zimmer Bradley autograph, easily lost amongst all the other treasures. When I see signed books, especially multi signed editions, I can't help myself trying to decipher them. Didn't know about the new radio series book, I'll keep an eye out for that👍
Nice, it's still one I'm sure I'm missing but will have to check first. Just found my heavy magazine boxes with all those all Star Wars mags and books.👍
Way, way out there cool . I remember the first time i saw it Many years later..the opening music with the crawl....still brings a silly grin to my face . Yes very cool to be with all the Leias in outfit...I hope Jabba is not lurking close by 😂🤣 . Truth be told i am more a fan of the original trio. SW lost me with all the entries. These Vault Books are great . There is a Vault Book for almost any story line . Including a Batman . Thanks for the vid.( Always imformative and entertaining) .Bye

Thanks for sharing. Your method of page turning induced anxiety however.
Thanks, quite tricky when your stood up behind a tripod and camera!
So cool, great vid. I had that star wars computers book as a kid.

This was awesome. Just ordered one of my own!
Great, guessing at a good price🙂👍
Not a Star Wars fan really , but what a great book for a fan ! Would love something like that for Silent Running or 2001 !
Indeed, that would have been fantastic. Silent Running is a great movie👍
