When PRR was first announced and land acquisition notices were sent to land owners, there was a 'phase-2' of PRR. From Hosur road to tumkur road. Later it was decided to drop this portion and integrate the phase 1 with the existing NICE road. However, the lands under phase 2 are still notified. in short, govt has kept lands notified in the area where PRR is not going to come. There is no update on denotification.
Bangalore is the world's most fast developing and fast expanding city. So PRR is must to reduce traffic and also we can implement metro line also along the PRR which doesn't require land acquisition again. PRR increaaes the brand name of bangalore.
Bengaluru has lost too many trees already. To reduce the traffic it's better to shift some of the companies to North Karnataka which are underdeveloped . very nice video
And you will provide and develop infrastructure worth billions of crores which happened over multiple years by so many hard working people in Bangalore?
@@rohi1255do you mean people out side Bangalore do not work hard or don’t need development? This is the reason some politicians keep raising the slogans for separate state for north Karnataka.
tree in private land can't stay for ever and no one can stop and tell what to do government land tree also won't be there only way make place like cabon park or mini lalbagh
now banglore city is the only backward city of india that even in 2023 does not have a metro connection in the IT capital i.e. south banagalore, software and IT executives in electronic city, sarjapur road, HSR layout, whitefield etc have to travel in thick traffice for over 30 to 50 kms on aan average to reach a basic airport facility
For someone to zoom in their car on the PRR why should the land owners who are born and bought up here should suffer due to less compensation? Bda has no money to pay salaries how can they plan such big projects? Only to make money...1810 acres wasfirst notified in 2005 and now another 680acres as been notified in 2022..will bda give 2 compensation of 1894act for 1810 acres and 2013act for 680 acres??? If no, then 680 acres land owners will go for courts...again it's a legal tangle.....this project is a no starter....
Govt why punishment for land looser take 30% gain from gainer who is adjacent land owner two km both side it will be three fold of cost of prr and tree cutting problem don't delay decades because of that make tunnel road for that three km forest stretch
It is not question cost of project But felling 30000trees and closing ponds is disastrous and catastrophic All vegetables fruits rice have gone 19 times more Air pollution is Another concern Be more conservative of nature present ring road is horrible It is contractors dream Whole Bangalore city has no character totally disorganised I’ll planned city
This is a must project. PRR is badly needed for Bengaluru. Spending Rs.20,000 cr to 25,000cr is worth for the future bottlenecks.
Bengaluru PRR is very important project for the city

Quality content and we'll presented
The facts are Presented well. God knows when it will be implemented. Till then the land losers should cross the fingers and wait.😮
I think Implimenting a tunnel road will be better to reduce traffic than PRR
Yeahh... the tunnel will pass through DKS mouth and come out from his back ...
Tunnel tablet.
Bengaluru needed at utmost priority
Along with ring road, radial roads and link roads are also necessary
Very informative video 😊

NHAI will complete outer ring road
BDA or BBMP or State govt has no plans to execute
Well researched article
Thank you 😀

Yep. There is a huge capital gain for landowners adjacent to the proposed highway, and those gains can be taxed.
