This kind of regen braking should be on all scooters. Awesome. I think maybe the extra range tho might also be the controller being more efficient?
That thumb throttle should be standard on any high performance electric scooter. It provides much better control than the trigger throttles. I installed the same thumb throttle on my Ludicrous BBSHD mountain bike build, and I have a much more reactive riding experience on the trails. Cheers.

Hundred miles is nothing. I just bought the pro, the clamp broke on the seat and they won’t warrantee it. there’s no warranty!

NoProGoPronto when I first installed the seat the clamp broke because you have to tighten the living crap out of it.Days of back and forth they said I could pay for a new one and the next day they emailed me and said they would give me a free one but nothing yet. I thought everything would be under warranty especially if bought 2weeks ago. Besides the seat witch I hate because it’s lame,so it’s not a big deal.The scooter is sweet. The rear fender totally SUCKS and the stem locking mechanism is going to need replaced soon because the bolts are bending. If you don’t plan on folding the scooter up to much I wouldn’t worry about that part. Honestly iam disappointed in the customer service. I pray nothing major goes wrong anytime soon.
NoProGoPronto hey bro if you have any questions about the 52v pro just ask. I’ve put on 300 miles so far. O I forgot the front lights suck you definitely would need a aftermarket light. Back red lights are nice and bright.

I wonder if they will make the regenerative breaking an option on the standard version. I like the fact that there's redundancy in the breaking mechanism. Should one fail or require maintenance the other one will continue to function.

Quick question - the stem on the Pro is solely the cylindrical stem piece but on the Explore the cylindrical stem, more than halfway up, is inside that thicker almost rectangular exterior surrounding it. I could be totally wrong but isn’t that safer for the stem (Explore style)? Since it’s strengthening the cylindrical piece and adding a touch of girth. 🤷🏽♂️

I crashed my EMOVE CRUISER at 25 mph and broke my fema in 2 places!! Thank God I had a full faced helmet on because I slammed my head on the pavement really hard!! So I couldn’t even imagine doing 50 mph standing up on a Scooter!! I’m 53 years old and I thank God these scooters didn’t come out 30 years ago when I was a LUNATIC!! 🤪☠️🤘🏻as always Chuck great video!! It's a great scooter. It won't be available until the end of Summer. I don't know what Apollo's international distribution is like right now, but I would guess that it's expanding rapidly. -Paul

I think the 52v with hydraulic brakes is the way to go. I’ve hit 40mph plus on mine and the acceleration is fast enough (unless you’re into racing). I don’t ever feel like I need better acceleration or top speed. The regen brake on the Ludo is pretty awesome but to me the Ludo isn’t worth $1700 more...

I don't think the Apollo Ludicrous will beat the Dualtron X though. Acceleration maybe, but not rolling race to high speeds.

Pretty much is. Looks like the Mantis as well. These are all clone variations of the Dualtron Eagle Pro. Each brand just changes color scheme and maybe suspension here and handlebar there. I wish someone would clone the Rions carbon fiber build.

Nah Man, the Wolf is a BEAST! Speed isn’t everything, the Wolf has Range and Speed.

Buying a used scooter can be a bit scary, as you can't be sure how well/poorly the previous owner took care of the scooter. Probably your biggest concern would be how well they maintained their battery. Just like purchasing any other vehicle, I'd want to be able to check the scooter out completely and do a test ride before handing over my $$, especially for any scooter over $1000.

Just say you have an Apollo pro 52v and you wanted to go to 60v. Is it only a battery swap or something else. My motors say 52v 1000watt and 60v 1200watt.

i reached 80km/h on that beast, and if i want i can get up to 80-100km far on 1 battery charge
also comfort on the vsett 10+ is superior to any other estep i ever had.
on top of that, the vsett 10+ has a sick design

Yeah it’s really dangerous even at 35mph. I don’t usually go more than 30mph on my Apollo Pro 52.
I so wanted one of these but they aren't available in Australia until November & importing one from Canada - USA - Australia would have been a nightmare due to our "Non-Road Vehicle" legislation...
So I bought the Kaabo Mantis equivalent... lol.
Will reassess my want for the Ludo when they're available here.

Well, you still have not review the 60V Zero 10x. It is so similar..
I know. I've seen comments asking but alas. There seems to be some bias towards the Kaabo scooters such as interviews with the owner of the company.

Chuck i know you did a review on the Apollo ghost and i know you said it came with dual 800 watt motors but i was just repairing my tube and i discovered that i have a Ghost with two 1000 watt motors i was wondering how could the company send me a scooter with bigger motors for 1400 well i looked on both ends yup two 1000 watt motors did your ghost the one tested come with 1000 watt motors let me know anyone else own the ghost check your motors you might have a super ghost 👻!!

So the Apollo Ludicrous is a competitor to the Zero 11x.
Ok I found the spec for the Apollo Pro 60V Ludo:
Motor rated power: 2400W (2 x 1200W)
Max. instantaneous power: 3200W (2 x 1600W) peak output
Top speed: 42 MPH (71 KM/H)
That's not that fast as you claimed 50 mph. Looks like the motor and controller is tuned for acceleration rather than speed. I don't think the motors will allow 50 mph.. and $3500 is a lot of money for that performance. You can get a scooter with more power (faster) and just as good stability if not better for $2000 shipped from China (Alibaba.com). You can get a 7000+ watt scooter with bigger tires for 2 grand shipped..
The ludo scoot is nice but the price is Ludacris..lol
