The panther can be fitted with an excellent proprietary damper (errex damper), and replacing the original deck by a larger one goes a long way to improve its overall stability. Made in korea will largely outlast any made in china rebrands so that's better for an urban commute oriented escooter. On the other hand the inverted C suspension chinese TG rebrands like the phaeton are exceptionally fun as an off road beater.

ldscooterrider Rion RE60 has no suspension. You can only ride it on smooth roads. Plus if it breaks or needs repairs, good luck on getting it done. The Storm will be the ultimate and I'm sure the build quality will be outstanding.
I still liked though man i still live your videos and it would be cool if you were with friends and ride down rodes down hills and stuff with electric scooters. The only think i dont like about electric scooters are that the 200 dollar ones suck and you cant get a decent one only for a thousand or something
Not really. I bought a car for $2800 and it needs transmission replaced. That would cost me another $1500. Plus you have to pay insurance, registration, etc. With electric scooter you can carry anywhere with you and sleep with it.
greetings from cold Norway. I drive a kugoo every day. every 5 days I have to change the rear tire. Do you know any trick on how to keep the tire intact. I think they deliberately made the inner tube crack often. That you have to buy new tires. Thanks in advance
Sadly some people get really unlucky with inner tubes, one of the reasons I like the tubeless set up better. Your best bet may be to install some solid tires.
Yeah, I think it's a pretty standard problem with almost all scooters. 36 and 24 is a huge difference though, especially at those lower speeds. I think you need GPS to get an accurate test.
Holy crap that scooter weighs as much as I do! The poor delivery guy, haha! It's cool to see what kind of performance you can get when you sacrifice weight and price, though. That's wild.
Got a 30 mph scooter with a 25 mile range that weighs 24 lbs and can fold and carry easily. Was $1000 retail and got practically new on Facebook market place for $400. Cant justify spending $3600 on an electric scooter imo.
That was an amazing deal, mine is 12 miles range and can go up to 25 mph. Is not that powerful but it gets the job done of getting me to work on time. I got it for $400 so you really got a super deal on your scooter
Woooow amazing scooter! Mine only goes 25mph haha, I would be terrified going up the road on this, gone too fast before at 25 and totalled on my face on slippy pathways, wouldn't like to see my face at 40mph 😰
The fast monster scooters are a lot of fun, and often safer than smaller scooters since they have bigger tires and suspension. Definitely wear a full face helmet if you ride one.
@@ToHaru-Chan Yea I live in VT where dirt roads (where most ppl live) get plowed every 2 days at best and icy snow gets impacted/frozen on them so even driving is dangerous. if I bought this NOW, it'd have until maybe mid october before it starts snowing and this thing becomes useless/a death machine, and would have to wait (or risk breaking my neck) until mid april or so. Oh and you have to be at work in 45 mins and its 0F out at 7am, and the sun still isnt up. Imagine trying to go 60mph down that. THATS what i'd be asking for by buying this. Srsly, buy a used car, this thing is for rich city kids that want to be "adventerous" that day, it wouldn't work 6 months out of the year where its actually needed. im literally better off buying a $1000 landmine of a car and practicing in that. it'd be 1/3 the price XD
Hi. I'm doing some e.scooter ride around videos too and I watch and like your video since before I step in this e.scooting sport. Anyway , good review as always and I can't wait for my Z11X witch will arriving tomorrow !🤝😁👍
Cool video! I love the lighting in the fog look. It is great to see another power scooter. For me a scooter should remain at least somewhat portable or I would rather have something like an Onyx RCR or a Zero motorbike to go above 40MPH. I have very limited room to store my PEVs in the garage so I have to be very mindful of space. Even folded down the Phaeton would be difficult to put in the back of my SUV without the seats folded down. The Thunder can at least fold down into a pretty small space since it also has folding handlebars and a much better folding mechanism in general. It says a lot that you think it is comparable to a Thunder as I have found Dualtrons to just feel more solid compared to other scooters I have experienced. I have the Nikola 100V coming this week as I switched from the MSP since it won't be available until the end of this month. It will stand next to my Dualtron Compact neatly in the garage. The Compact barely takes up more space than a small commuter scooter when it is folded. I sold my Mantis and gave away a couple more scooters so I have cleared up space :) I almost have my 3" ducted cinema quadcopter ready to go. I just need a few more parts. It will have the ability to carry a GoPro for better video quality while still having digital video coming back to my goggles. It should easily hit 65MPH so it should be able to chase down most PEVs. It would be cool to get some low shots of your speeding and do some quick acrobatics around you to get a different shot. I always wanted to fly through a group of riders with my smaller, prop-guarded quads to get a unique shot without introducing a big threat with exposed propellers like my bigger quads would introduce.
Yeah, good point about the huge size of the Phaeton and storage, not everyone can fit a beast like this. As you can see my garage is already suffering 😅 Awesome about the Nikola, let me know how you find it. When you're ready, let's go film something with your drone. I'm sure we can gather a small group of riders and setup shots. Maybe we can do a music video with some of that footage? Would be fun!
@@AlienRides Sounds good! As long as your cool with Hero Session quality footage as I never bothered getting a later Hero camera. She rolls around on my Onewheel XR and I follow her on my MTen3. I want something that is a bit more stable above 20MPH.
You would hate for someone to pull out on you ...."game over." I would rather not be on roads and highways with a silent 60 mile an hr scooter unless everyone else was on one.

Genuinely curious here, why not just buy a motorcycle for the budget? You get a lot more safety and security features.. freeway legal, storage/luggage boxes.. a passenger can come.. resale value. This is getting up there in terms of speed and danger. Just bite the bullet and buy a $2k motorcycle and you had $1500 left over for gear and gas
Some people are just big electric hippies like myself and pay more for the technology, and the ability to fold it up stick it in your car, or go on bike lanes.
@MrDrinkgreentea I'm right there with you. I just finished college lol I was broke, lazy, the whole 9. The thing stopping 95% of people from adopting this over a standard motorcycle is the cost. I want this but just can't afford it
@@lucaslucas9505 I've heard that about the UK. In the states, if I own my bike outright I can get liability inly and its between $100-$150 a YEAR. And I had roadside assistance lol

Steering dampers basically eliminate speed wobble.
Yes 👍
Definitely, they're awesome and make riding a scooter much safer.
I need to get one for my Mantis. I don't go fast all the time though but it would be nice to have. I'm a firm believer of 'having and not needing than needing and not having'.......lol.
The footage is amazing! Is that a mavic drone and did you set it to follow or is there a 2nd person operating it?
This was actually shot on a Skydio 2 drone, not as good as a FPV pilot, but still gets some awesome shots! ua-cam.com/video/ZQgNIOIzR6c/v-deo.html

...soooo fun..!
sometimes you have to change the tire size in the settings to something slightly higher or lower to get the accurate MPH readout
Yeah, that is a good point that you have to adjust the wheel diameter. Learned that after this video.
An erexx damper and larger deck on the panther would be amazing. Hope to test or buy such a configuration i the future. 👽🖖
that jigging key in the wind will eventually wear out that key input mechanism.
Hah yeah maybe... To be fair though you can totally take off the second key so there's none of that, I just forgot to do so.

@@AlienRides hey have you done any reviews on pmt tires for the scooters. Online says they are the best upgrade you can do. Was gonna reach out to see your thoughts on pmt tires.
tom C I haven’t done any specific reviews on those tires, but they are awesome for sure! The Rion uses them and that’s one of the reasons I love riding the Rion so much, they make the handling a dream and really let you get low in the corners. I’ll see about featuring them in a future video.

VERY EXPENSIVE
Yeah, not cheap but I do think you get good value out of it.
Can't wait for the Dualtron Storm to be coming in. Will you do a review on it when it comes in?
Yup, I definitely will do a review on that one, super excited for that as well!
ldscooterrider Rion RE60 has no suspension. You can only ride it on smooth roads. Plus if it breaks or needs repairs, good luck on getting it done. The Storm will be the ultimate and I'm sure the build quality will be outstanding.
"at a great price" lol 3,500 you can buy a car that can put a lot of miles on it for 800 not a good price like rlly!!?!?!?
Yeah, a car is definitely the way to go if you need one. This is a cool fast toy, not cheap, but I think decent value for what you get. 👽🖖
For me i think its good alternative if you dint have driver licence
Mathew Plante for the price you could buy a car insure it and pass your test 😂🤷♂️
Coolest kick-stand I've seen.
It's really nice for a stock kickstand. There are some nicer after market ones, but this one is not bad for stock.
Should b siting option also if someone disable with one leg can sit and use
Yeah, that would be a nice option for sure.
greetings from cold Norway.
Yeah, that's a big difference in actual speed. I'm hearing that Emove Touring speedometer reads 36 mph when the scooter's really going 24, lol
Yeah, I think it's a pretty standard problem with almost all scooters. 36 and 24 is a huge difference though, especially at those lower speeds. I think you need GPS to get an accurate test.

The fast monster scooters are a lot of fun, and often safer than smaller scooters since they have bigger tires and suspension. Definitely wear a full face helmet if you ride one.
The price for that scooter hurt my eyes!!!

@@GarlicGrinder9 you right lol. But you might need a car in the winter time depending on where you live.
@@GarlicGrinder9 That's exactly what I'm struggling with.

This unboxing experience is so satisfying brother 💙
If feel excited also.. You had a lot of beast behind you as well. Safe ride always brother 🇵🇭
I sold my Mantis and gave away a couple more scooters so I have cleared up space :)
I almost have my 3" ducted cinema quadcopter ready to go.
I definitely see you have similar space constraints :)
I am excited to ride something that isn't an MTen3. I do love that little thing. It is really fun in small parks where I take the kid. She rolls around on my Onewheel XR and I follow her on my MTen3. I want something that is a bit more stable above 20MPH.
