Orangutan, what wonderful animals and are very clever. As you said nice to see them in there natural habitat rather than behind cages or glass windows. Glad you had a chance to see them from a distant. I think it was a workout walking around there and judging by the video it looks like you the only ones walking.
Pretty special to see them out in their own environment - it’s great that 2 popped up to see the humans 🤩 - Animals are always cool , today I went to the Saigon Zoo - nice work guys - Thank You 🙏 ✔️😎✌️👍
Very lucky we went during non fruiting season. And even luckier 2 showed up! Nice one! Would you recommend? Animals treated fairly? Hope you’re having a ball over there! 🙏🙏
Yep. That looks like a great stroll through the jungle. I'm sad that Franc wasn't adopted by the orangutans. They looked like a cool bunch to hang out with. Haha
Oh you guys do went to Semenggoh wildlife centre 👍. There are many big male orang utans in Semenggoh actually, the alpha male is 100 kilo massive ape..maybe u guys haven't got the chances to see them
Ah damn, I think we will be in Thailand or Laos at that time. But looking to make a more permanent move here potentially. So sometime in the future.. who knows? 😊
I’d definitely say that the kind of set up they have is beneficial for the animals and while we can come and see them, they are treated as wild as possible which is great to see. Not a huge fan of zoos and this kind of thing is more how it should be.
@francandsarah Let me apologize for commenting on your vlog without first explaining where I was going with that comment. I truly enjoy your content, thank you. I applaud the nation of Indonesia Malaysia Brunei, Borneo is a beautiful example on how we can protect the inhabitants of unique niches & be good stewarts of our planet while educating the world. My comment was out of bounds, I hope you two were not offended. Apologies Be safe Sincerely, Craig
@craigellis8354 no need to apologize my man. I knew exactly what you meant and was in agreement with you. These kind of places are required for some of the more vulnerable species and the freedom they have while being able to be protected is awesome to see. All good in our hood! Thanks for watching and for the comments as well 🙏🙏
11:58 The alpha male is the big ones... maybe looked small from where you saw it. But I think the ones you saw could be the younger ones. Last we went in 2022, there were a few babies born in that year...
I think you are correct. The man running the show did mention he was an alpha so I guess that’s why he was there solo. I think there was another one hanging about in the trees near by waiting for him to be done so they could get the left overs.

What a wonderful adventure in Borneo. Glad to see that you guys have had the amazing experience.
I think you guys would definitely see orangutans at the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Sabah.
Had an absolute ball in Borneo, will definitely visit again to see more.
We will try and visit the Sepilok Sanctuary next time we are there!
@@franclyspeaking Wonderful. 😀

Hey me too! Could have been a great time living in the jungle for a while. Maybe next time?

👍 Cholop 👍❤️😘❤️🇲🇾❤️ SarawaK ❤
Stunning scenery. Was that Franc or an orangutan at 9.00 minutes
😂😂 that was indeed me munching on fruit and hanging about. Great spotting!
Their arms are more powerful.
Nice video loving your kutching content.
Thank you! Us really enjoying the place helps translate on camera I guess. Kuching is a special place! 🙏
I think it's closer to a husbandry than a zoo
The help outweighs their limited acreage
My 2 cents

@@franclyspeaking, glad you both get to see them… because they don’t always come by during fruit season.
