I love linen and just sewed a pair of linen jogging pants and wear them when cycling. I love your kits. Fantastic idea.
I love the barrel Style Arc pattern and the fabrics look fantastic for them....Grace
I do love linen fabric, such a comfortable fabric to wear. Fabulous kits, as always. Lee xx
Thank you!
Does either of these fabrics stretch with wear? They are lovely ❤
They are not stretchy fabrics. Linen can have some 'give' over time as it moulds to your body, but I wouldn't say it stretches with wear.
Quite an unusual way to sell patterns. I’ll be following you.
I'm intrigued, too!
Thank you so much!
Minerva has popped up in my list of videos many times, but I never understood that you offer kits... I'm very intrigued and will take a look.
Please do!
I'm keen to start my first Eve trousers so this is brilliant, thankyou! Wee query though, I don't see elastic listed on my Eve pattern but it's in your kit?
As someone who bicycles, the barrel-shaped trousers would be useful to wear. I have often brought a separate pair of trousers to change into for meetings, etc. because they are a danger to catch in the bicycle chain. Linen would not be a great fabric for bicycling, though. I think I'd have massive wrinkles all around my bum. What other fabric choice might you recommend?
There are a variety of fabrics you could use for the eve trousers if you'd prefer to not use Linen - Twills are ideal. Other options would be corduroy, light-medium weight woollens and denim.
The pattern is designed for wovens, but you could also go against the trends and try a knit?
@MinervaDotCom Thank you very much for these suggestions!!! I went online and also saw the MINERVA Vogue 2000 kit. Stunning!
Is the color “midnight” black or in the blue color family?
Midnight, is a very dark navy 😊
