  • The Victor Thruster F Enhanced Edition badminton racket is an even balanced badminton racket very popular with the pros, such as Hendra Setiawan, Praveen Jordan, Badminton Insight's Greg Mairs, Jenny Moore, Tan Kian Meng, Lai Pei Jing, Goh Soon Huat and Jemie Shevon Lai.
Its an easy to use racket which provides the player with a good responsive feeling off the racket with a big sweet spot. This racket incorporates Victor badminton's latest technologies including Free Core which is a plastic racket handle instead of a traditional wooden handle.

I used to use Astrox 88D and decided to switch to this racket. I was amazed by it’s perfect control drop shot, net shot and lightning speed at the net. However, if you have been using super powerful rackets like 100zz or 88d, be prepared when smashing with this racket because you will feel like you lost 20% power. Overall, a good racket to try out 👍, best for front court player.

@@migsnarito6606 88D Pro will give you more power; I switch between these two racquets as my 'Main' depending on the game play. If my opponents are both control players and my doubles partner isn't creating attack opportunities for me, I will be better off sticking with the TK-F Enhanced for the mid court / front court game while still having good control with back court drops and smashes. The key term I will use to describe the TK-F Enhanced is that it's a good racquet for 'Variation.' You will feel stability when using this racquet. Now, if you are a smasher and want a faster attacking style game play, the 88D Pro will enhance your attack by 1.5x Fold. The 88D Pro is made to punish your opponents if you can consistently land your smashes, flat cross court drives, and deep back court pushes. It is made for the doubles player that wants to dominate in the back court, gives the player an edge at reaching shots across the court a split millisecond faster and effectively strike steep and hard at the net kill with a faster reactionary back hand kill at the net over the TK-F Enhanced. These two racquets are equals, with the TK-F Enhanced having a slight edge in terms of back hand drops and backhand cross court smashes. So it just comes down to every person's style of play. Either one won't disappoint.

@@waynez5535 i honestly think the thruster f has more power after trying both 88d pro and thruster f. but what i find is the original 88d has that little bit more power compared to the thruster f. comparing 88d pro and thruster f, i would choose the thruster f any day. I honestly find the 88d pro is just a revised racket of 'back to the basics'. head heavy and control. the thruster f for them all rounded players that want easy power and can handle the head weight of like the 2020 88d. i personally find the 88d pro over rated, just simply theres nothing that stands out about. its got everything you need in a racket but nothing that stands out. the thruster f really stands out in the ease of use while still having power and control.
i currently use the 99 pro and the nanoflare 800 as the main 2 rackets (maybe try the nanoflare 1000z). i get along with these 2 rackets quite nicely. quite a big jump in weight balance but something about the frame that makes me feel at home in terms of speed. the nanoflare 1000z is on my sights. it just sounds like an exaggerated combination of a nanoflare 700 and nanoray z speed.

I agree with your assessment, currently using a 4U version, but to me it felt too light and does not have the swing mass to generate the power that I am looking for. Not that it is terrible. However I really like how it felt during play, a very user friendly racket, very responsive. I like it so much so that I just add aluminum high speed tape at 3 locations on the head and one at the top potion of the shaft to get it to a 3U weight and to an ideal swing weight feel (using my 3U nanoflare 800 as the baseline). Now its a beast ! Great at defend and power on the attack. I had even booked a 3U version with Victor Store Singapore. Like you’ve said this racket really is a popular one, always out of stock in store. It is so difficult to get hold of one. Those sitting on the fence wondering, give it a shot ..Highly recommended.

As soon as I got into mid court with the 88D Pro, it felt too slow. If your opponents are using fast rackets at the net / mid court, you might be at a disadvantage depending on how strong you are and what your technique is like.
You won't feel like you've been to the gym after using the Thruster F either. 😅.

    Hey CK, Amazing content!
I switched from Arc 11 pro 3U to Thruster F EE. I must say I was really confused at the first look at the odd shape of the racket, but boy, it was so easy to use and sooo unforgiving. Definitely a keeper.
Just a question to you guys. Did you try the 4U Arc11 pro? I found the Arc11 3U really good, but a bit unforgiving especially under really fast defense and also back court smashes.

    Hello,
I'm struggled to choose between the Astrox 88s Pro and Thruster F ED.
I've tried Astrox 100 Game, totally awesome racquet, great for drive, defense, and smashes with 100 Game feels amazing, but i dont have enough wrist power and good technique (since i'm a beginner), i injured my wrist.
That's why i'm looking for an all-round racquet, but still have good feeling for smash.
I like playing in front and mid court for Double, but sometimes i play on back court for Mix Double.
As i'm healing my wrist now and still want to play, can you tell me which one is better in terms of smash power? And which one is more forgiving?

    • @waynez5535
      @waynez5535 Рік тому +1

The racket for me had an 'ok, but steep' learning curve. Having been rotating between the Nanoflare 800 & 88D Pro for several months, I would say this racquet (TK-F Enhanced) performs pretty solid for a head heavy in the front court. In the back court, it has good levels of control for precision drops to the two sides of the net. As for smashes, it is still lacking somewhat compared to the 88 D Pro in terms of execution but slightly better for whatsoever reasons in generating a steeper angle (maybe due to the elongated egg shape frame). Defense wise, such as swing recovery in the midcourt, it is slightly better than the 88 D Pro, but of course falls short to the Nanoflare 800 (a true speed racquet). Overall my impressions on this racquet can be summed up with:
Stability, solid front / mid court control, precision effortless drops, steep shots, good back hand power generation, good for wrist-control players, good for doubles service, good for players that want to be the equivalent of an all around / all positions footballer like Steven Gerrard Liverpool FC.
Cons: you get more excitement with the 88 D Pro if you prefer controlling the backcourt with dominant smashing / attacks. You get more thrill with the Nanoflare 800 if you like a defensive game and you are just used to power generation with headlight racquets such as the Nanospeed 9900, 9000 Type X, etc.

I believe that's part of Victor's Free Core cone cap which is normal. Tbh, i've yet to see a metal cone cap from any manufacturer, its always been plastic/mixed material but never metal.

I tried Exbolt 65 ,BG66 and my regular string BG80 power @26 lb.All three strings doesn’t even last a day. What do you think the issue here is?

@@sreejithsreenivasan8939 either your stringer sucks or you’re mishitting too much. Lower your tension to 24lbs.
