If you buy milk in the supermarkt and it's not in the cooled shelves then it's for a long time and it tastes different, the milk in the cooled shelves are the original milk and don't last that long (and btw September is in 3 months not 6😂)
You've been sleeping, that's nothing new. I get from the 99¢ store. Stays good in the cupboard for months. Once you open, stays good in the fridge for a week or two. Much more convenient than reg milk.
You can buy it in America, it is called ultra pasteurized milk….. but as like what other people have said if you open the American or European contain the milk is only good for a week.
it’s called sterilised milk. it’s milk that has been heated to a high temperature and sealed. as long as it remains sealed it will last well. if you open it it doesn’t last long. UHT = Ultra Heat Treated
this is not regular milk this is sterilized milk and the taste is awful once you open it, it will expire within a week in the fridge this milk is disgusting to drink but good if you need it for cooking and baking

Be careful of this one. Theres regular milk that’s being displayed in fridges and then there is what we call as “long lasting” milk that’s being displayed on shelf. They look somewhat similar and my immigrant husband didn’t know this and when asked to go buy a box of milks for coffee (stored in a pantry, as he very well knows), he bought my dad a box of milks (about 20) from the fridge instead of the long lasting ones. An amount that is not possible to consume within the short expiry timeframe - such a waste. :)
