Venus Rising with Gerda: Why I Detransitioned

Venus Rising exists to challenge listeners to think beyond the masses, especially as it pertains to women’s health. It is with that goal in mind that today we welcome, Gerda, a 27-year-old woman from Poland, who started to identify as trans at the age of 14 and began the process of social transition at 19 and medical transition at 21. After 8 years of living as a transman, she came to the conclusion that the majority of her 'gender dysphoria' was a mixture of her psychological trauma and normal teen angst. Detransitioning helped her to change her life for the better and she’s here today to share her story.

Not only do you have the most beautifully structured face, with a mouth that Leonardo da Vinci would die to encapture in a painting; you are articulate, highly intelligent, witty and kind-hearted beyond belief. Average people are intimidated by those qualities because you seem to have it all. Most people only have one or two, but your beauty, sensitive spirit, in combination with your fierce intelligence are threatening to people and that will give some insight as to why you may have felt alone when you were younger. May the Lord comfort you and give you His peace.

Thank you Gerda for speaking about this. Seems that money hungry “doctors” are happy to take the advantage of youth who need some other help. Poland is a tiny country and I’m appalled to hear that this has been going on there for some time already.
