Last weekend, my filmmaking friend, Paul, and I visited Bill for the long-awaited third video. This time around, I spent half-a-day with Bill, who showed me a thing or two about life in the hills. Look for a preview of this video soon. And then later this month, look for the full-length Video #3 with Bill Jones, Arkansas Redneck. Thanks for your patience. 6/10/2020 UPDATE: I got a call Sunday from an unrecognized number. The voice on the other end, however, was quite familiar. Bill called. We arranged for the long-awaited Video #3. I'll be heading down there the end of this month! And more than just an interview, I'm going to spend half-a-day with him. A Day in the Life of Bill -- where he shows me his fishing spot, how he trains his dogs to catch raccoons, and other elements of his Arkansas life. Stay tuned. And like the previous video, I'm going to bring him donations. So if you'd like to offer a little something Bill's way, let me know by emailing me at brandon@theperiphery.com. Last time, in addition to the donations, we also had greeting cards and even Christmas cookies (it was a December visit:) 9/20/2019 UPDATE: My phone rang this morning. Still in bed, I looked at the screen to see an Arkansas number. I wondered... Yep, it was Bill. He'd gotten my letter and check from the donations in our latest GoFundMe campaign for him. (www.gofundme.com/manage/back-to-arkansas-bill-a-donation-and-new-video) It wasn't much this time. Just $100 or so. But he certainly appreciates it. (And the window is always open if you'd like to send Bill a couple of bucks to thank him and his gal Jo for sharing themselves and their lives with us.) In fact, we are going to get to see Bill again:) Video #3 has been confirmed. During our call, he invited me down to his place to show us how he and Jo are doing. PLUS, this time he wants to take me around his place to show me what a day in the life of Bill is like. Fishing, hunting, trapping, dogs, and who know what else? We're planning the trip for later this fall. Because of this development, any further funds contributed to the GoFundMe linked above will hand-delivered to Bill. If you'd like to earmark the donation for a specific purchase, let me know and I'll get it for Bill--and deliver it personally this fall. I'll be in touch as we confirm the dates of the visit. Thanks for coming along! -Brandon *** 5/12/2019 UPDATE: IT'S ON. I've started another GoFundMe for Bill and am planning to make Video#3. Give a few dollars to Bill right here: www.gofundme.com/back-to-arkansas-bill-a-donation-and-new-video The comments on Bill's videos have never died down. His spirit is contagious--and the desire to lend him a helping hand persists since the days of my first visit and video a few years back. Since our second video in December 2017, it's been my hope to return for video #3. If this fundraiser can raise at least $500, I'll do so next month. Video #1 (ua-cam.com/video/4Hs95TBBAGg/v-deo.html) introduced us to Bill. Video #2 (above) followed-up with Bill, saw Bill's reaction to our gift of $575, and then surprised us with his girlfriend stepping up on camera: Video #3? My hope is to not just visit Bill, but to spend half-a-day with the guy to experience his day-to-day living. But first things first. All the money raised here will go directly to Bill. I will take none of it for myself. If we can raise $500, I'll deliver it myself and make Video #3. If it's less than $500, I'll simply mail him a check. We got four weeks to make this happen. I'm penciling in June 7 as my departure date. Thanks for your interest in Bill. He is continually impressed and touched by the support and concern of strangers. -Brandon
You've created some of the most wholesome content I've seen in a while. Aside from the unbiased outlook presented on a Southern backwoods lifestyle, I vicariously live through that chemistry between you and Bill. This is great content.
I live in Tennessee and there are people like this on every backroad. Most of them are real genuine people. I appreciate you taking time to talk with this guy, and I enjoyed the update.
?,?, you watch to much news. It’s the exact opposite here. You would have more problems and people in your business all the time in a small town and as for the country,I have traveled most of it and it’s as a hole a wonderful place with pockets of shit!
Living off of government assistance and putting addiction and animals he can't afford ahead of necessitys? The poor need help but the best help we can give them is sound financial advice.
And they say poverty breeds criminality. I couldn't imagine a humble gentleman like this act in anger or fear; he just seems like an honest American, who despite all his circumstances, hasn't succumbed to cynicism.
Bob Taint what a Hypocrite. You probably had a job at one point in your life and YOU and the company or individual you worked for made money by using people as well, if they bought something or required a service. That's what we REAL Americans like to call a Free Market. If the man who owns this channel was a "Douche" he wouldn't have drove back and gave the man over 500$. Sounds to me like you are simply jealous of both these men. Have a great life bud!
Bob Taint You're the only one being a douche here. How much did YOU send Bill Jones? Not a God damn thing, douchebag, not a God damn thing. And I couldn't hear the whole thing because of the wind. He did a service to Bill, making sure he was heard and his ideas came across to folks. Screw you.
Wow...this is awesome..being a southerner this makes me feel good...a lot of folks here live very simple and honest lives..when you drive by someone's home and see the "junk"..don't let it fool you..don't judge..because odds are..that person would come to your aid and give you their last dime if you needed it...that is what it means to be a Southerner!!
Let it be a best kept secret for all I care. I grew up in NYC, found a southern belle in southeast Texas and now whenever I visit Queens NY again it doesn't feel like I'm in America.
Amen..I would rather be friends with this man...than a rich person...He is honest and lives his life the best he can...and minds his own business...And is very grateful.
To say that is just a southern thing isn't entirely true. There are people like that in every small town in America and don't forget it. There are good people everywhere but we get turned against each other because of lies and BS
This ^^^ I'm an Ohio kid but have been in NYC for 20 years and around the world a few times. Unique folks with good hearts are everywhere. Love both videos with Bill. I hope he's well.
9:00....."As long as their messing with me, they're leaving someone else alone"....through all of his hardships in life....he is still perfectly comfortable taking on all of the "messing with" because he knows if it wasn't him, it would be someone else. Someone please get me his address. I'd really like to send him some gifts.
This man literally says they have nothing, but offered a man in a Burberry hat one of his cigarettes. I know people who have plenty of money who are so stingy with their cigarettes, and everything else. What an awesome man!
"Well if they are over here bothering me they ain't bothering someone else." dang dude this man can't get any more humble and real this is what Americans are supposed to be like.
My neighbors make Bill look like a Mormon. He (Bill) seems like a kind person who just wants to be free. Maybe a few too many dogs ( #FreeYappy) but I dont doubt for a second that he enjoys and takes care of them. Great follow up interview!
@Door Bell So do white people, and every other race. Pump your breaks on the stereotypes on such a great video with all this positivity floating through the comments section.
Even if I am from russia, and i hardly understand what Bill is saying (thank god for subtitles), I say = good job! There are many people like him in Russia too, totally relying on themselves all their life.
My dad loves watching videos of ppl using lathes, milling machines, and heaving machinery. I watch them over his shoulder some, and there are a ton of Russians who film themselves working with lathes and stuff. They have it rough. They are so poor, and they all seem to live in remote places.
I lived 40 miles from this guy for 35 years. Been past his place many times on the way to Fort Smith. Those hills are full of these kinds of people. I worked as a home health nurse off and on over the years back there and met many of them. There's something refreshing, in a way, about them. Thanks for what you did for him.
"Traitors to your country"? Really? The same people who hate this country, who talk crap about it and burn its flag, and say "America was never great!" are suddenly worried about someone being a traitor? LOL
you got a point but if its your part of the country that was fighting the other part of the country, they would see them as the traitors for threatening federal law in america essentially taking away the regional freedoms which is important in such a big place. i get where your coming from dude i get it i personal think its a wonderful thing. and if it aint important to you then you shouldnt care
Aaron, they were fighting for their families, neighbors, homes and land. They were invaded. While I'm glad the Union won the fight, I don't harbor any animosity to the Southerners who fought in defense of themselves. I have the utmost respect for them. Heck, America was founded by a bunch of traitors to their country, England, and many of us and possibly you too are pretty damn proud of those traitors.
When we are born we have zero choice on who or parents are, the financial status of our kin, or what geographical region and social stature your born into.... be a good , loving , kind , honesty and give back when you can... that's the makings of a good person and all are capable of that choice no matter what !
Feng Shui Luminescoul - Well said. I've often said that about race. All souls are the same. It's luck of the draw coming here. Also religion. Depending on where you're born and the faith of your elders/region, that's what you identify with, unless you reject it altogether.
That's probably the last thing he needs. The outsiders who would produce that show would run his life into the ground. I couldn't imagine the hell he'd be going through if that mistake happened to him.
These two videos may have changed my life. We all live in little bubbles and tend to forget others around us outside of that bubble. God bless them. :)
He put on weight! Lookin good! And Jo got a miracle! Man, God bless these people. I know a few just like them. I live in Arkansas. There’s a few folks like this here. You get to know them if you’re blessed enough.
I live in east Tennessee and theres people like ol Bill everywhere around here. It's just like watching someone I could walk up to anywhere around here and have a conversation with.
@Edward Turner I can say honestly that there's a lot of people in my area that don't have much money, they don't live in fancy houses or drive nice cars, but you could walk up to just about any scruffy looking guy who just got out of a beat up pickup and ask them for help and that stranger that don't know you from Adam would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The south is famous for it's hospitality. It's not just a figure of speech.
Much respect to you Bill from the UK when I eventually across the pond This is the America I want to see and meet people like Bill the true Americans 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
With the country as ideologically divided as it is today, these videos are a beautiful example of how we could - and should - be treating each other. There is no judgement on the part of either of these two men, just an interest in each other’s worlds and an openness to being friendly. We can learn from them.
Journalism has transformed because of digital technology and those of us who have tired of being manipulated by mass media. Integrity returns with journalist just like him, asking intelligent questions and getting more than he expected. Truth, simple truth. I get it. Politicians...meh.
Really shows that people out there have more something to without any electronics. Example what he shows us that he’s been doing something in his life. Live, breathe , and the creativeness he goes to in his work, talk instead of people with electronics sitting in their bed playing for hours instead of doing stuff in their own life time. Like people say “ life is a Start and an End” that means do something in your own life and not wait to end the life time. So I really agree with you his phrase was absolute GOLD. And I do admit that I still lay in bed for hours But in the mean time I can do something else. Edit: sorry my English is not really fine 😅 Couple errors soo sorry if that this statement annoyed you. Also thank you to auto correct for my bad English.
James Walls this isn’t the average southerner, this is a true southerner. Most southerners like me live in neighborhoods and live like you do in the north (I assume). We all have family that lives somewhat like this to a degree.
This man is the definition of humble and kind. What a class act. You don’t find many of these kind of humans around these days. What a treasure! Bless you, Bill.
Interesting - I'm from Canada - way up North in Canada. I've only ever known one person from South in Tennessee and I thought he was the salt of the Earth. Good luck Bill. I hope happiness has found you - or will find you.
Byron Wheeler nice to hear you say that!! From Knoxville, TN myself, a buddy of mine went to Toronto for the R40 tour and had nothing but great things to say.
This is the real america the news dosent show you we are not that different even from.an East African prespective. There are just 2 kind of people good and bad #RespectFromTanzania
I like these people. As a teenager, I used to go to a Summer Camp near where they live, met several people living off grid way back in the hills. Salt-of-the-Earth, kind folks who don't bother anyone or ask for anything; but willing to share what little they have.
Thank YOU, Christine. Your comment is so encouraging:) I'm hoping to return later this year, if you'd like to chip in: www.gofundme.com/manage/back-to-arkansas-bill-a-donation-and-new-video
I finally go the chance to watch the Bill Jones videos and read the comments- I "liked" all of them! It's refreshing to see and hear from someone who is so authentic! Someone once said to be kind to everyone you meet because each person is like a friendly teacher. Bill, you taught us what it means to live a simple life and appreciate all life's blessings.
God bless these people. You can tell this man would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. And the fact that he stayed every night in the hospital, with his wife, while she battled cancer is totally heart warming.
Money comes and goes, cookies will be enjoyed. That card, that card will mean more than anything to Bill. I bet 3 or 4 years from now he will show someone and tell them the history of that card. I'm from Alabama and know lots of people like Mr. Bill. Good people.
Wow thats awesome we dont get people like that in the uk its so nice to see people living how they want and being able to do so as long as they are not hurting any one that gentleman looks like he wouldnt hurt any one and he loved his animals as we all should thank you for the vid top work
Just seeing this comment. Not sure how I missed it. THANK YOU, Mark! Yeah, this is an overlooked aspect of America--or if it is noticed, it is made fun of. But there is indeed a genuineness and openness from this culture to appreciate. I'm so glad you could!
I hope to return to Bill later this year. We're raising money for him if you're interested in chipping in: www.gofundme.com/manage/back-to-arkansas-bill-a-donation-and-new-video
Its amazing how people can have so little and be so content and have a smile god bless you guys when i come thru arkansas on my way to missourri gonna bring youguys some food and money true americans god bless you mr jones
My brother used to live in Arkansas, and this man is what you call a good ol boy, you can tell he has heart as most of the people do in Arkansas. GOD Bless you Bill.
God Bless everyone who helped Bill,,I'm a salesman,,live in Eastern Arkansas and travel everyday to the other end of the state,,but he's like some of my customers, mechanics just trying to make a honest living,,not asking anyone for anything,,no handouts or favors,,just good ole southerners give you the shirt off there back !! Like he said on the confederacy flag,,no racism,,just heritage,,everyone else wants it to be what it's not,,God Bless America!!!
Great that you went back man, says alot. I'm from the south and we get alot of bad wraps of racism or intolerance. This random stop to one man's home showed otherwise. Thank you again! God bless ya Bill.
Hey, thanks, man. The way the money and trip came together, I know it was something I was directed to do. Let me ask you something: does the judgement you feel from non-Southerners motivate your (and/or other Southerners') desire to fly the Confederate flag? What I mean is: do you think people in the South fly it as a symbol of pride, in part, because of all the flack tossed your way?
@@ThePeriphery I reread your question and I'll be more direct. We do raise it out of southern pride, it's engrained in the southern culture from dukes of hazard to hee-haw. But only the few, like in every group, would do it for spite of being told not to. That's a human thing, not a southern thing.
@@ThePeriphery sorry man, I feel like I have to emphasize it's not a north vs south issue anymore than someone saying east coast vs west coast. The people who say " the south will rise again", etc are your radicals. Equal to let's say a vegan SJW from Oregon..both radical but both patriotic in their own minds. They're in all groups, it's human. America is where you were raised and know of America. Patriotism is within and individual.
@@ThePeriphery lol, true that. I have family in Texas and just one state north makes a major difference. You guys have had a rough winter no doubt. Stay safe and God bless!
trucker V how is it possible for you to know my political viewpoints based on the fact I would never choose to live In Arkansas. I've met too many people from there, and have heard too many horror stories about place.
Dan Huber well I lived in Arkansas and there was nothing wrong with it at all. Of coarse there are shit holes here but that's with any state. I was born in California and got out the second I was old enough and have lived in a few places. Colorado, north dakota, Oklahoma and Arkansas. You couldn't give me a house and 200k a year to ever live in California. I'm not saying that's where you are from but I'm just comparing it. I would be homeless in Oklahoma or Arkansas before I was rich in that shithole people here as well as in Arkansas are down to earth people that would do anything to help someone out. You may find some like that in California but most that state are a bunch of soy boy liberal baby killers.

Stay tuned. And like the previous video, I'm going to bring him donations. So if you'd like to offer a little something Bill's way, let me know by emailing me at brandon@theperiphery.com. Last time, in addition to the donations, we also had greeting cards and even Christmas cookies (it was a December visit:)
9/20/2019 UPDATE:
My phone rang this morning.
(And the window is always open if you'd like to send Bill a couple of bucks to thank him and his gal Jo for sharing themselves and their lives with us.)
In fact, we are going to get to see Bill again:)
Video #3 has been confirmed.
-Brandon

5/12/2019 UPDATE: IT'S ON. I've started another GoFundMe for Bill and am planning to make Video#3. Give a few dollars to Bill right here: www.gofundme.com/back-to-arkansas-bill-a-donation-and-new-video
The comments on Bill's videos have never died down.
Video #2 (above) followed-up with Bill, saw Bill's reaction to our gift of $575, and then surprised us with his girlfriend stepping up on camera:
Video #3? My hope is to not just visit Bill, but to spend half-a-day with the guy to experience his day-to-day living. But first things first.
All the money raised here will go directly to Bill. I will take none of it for myself. If we can raise $500, I'll deliver it myself and make Video #3. If it's less than $500, I'll simply mail him a check. We got four weeks to make this happen. I'm penciling in June 7 as my departure date.
Thanks for your interest in Bill. He is continually impressed and touched by the support and concern of strangers.

The Periphery update us on when bill returns!
@@zaxxxppe Will do!
You've created some of the most wholesome content I've seen in a while. Aside from the unbiased outlook presented on a Southern backwoods lifestyle, I vicariously live through that chemistry between you and Bill. This is great content.
@@KyleLThayer Kyle, this is one the most encouraging comments I've received. Your response is what I hope for from viewers. Thank you!
I live in Tennessee and there are people like this on every backroad. Most of them are real genuine people. I appreciate you taking time to talk with this guy, and I enjoyed the update.
I wish we would see more people like bill and less like the Kardashian’s.
Never happen. What this man stands for is against everything modern media is about.
You bet.
best you tube comment ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brandon McCracken no kiddin
You like him because he is passive and you can look down on him. He seems healthy enough to work. People like this do not work.
This has to be the “nicest” comment section I have EVER seen on UA-cam.
Lol
Yah its surprising to be honest. Good thing because its rare. Nothing bad to say about this guy and there shouldnt be
Billyboy you ain’t kidding
Billyboy amen!
?,?, you watch to much news. It’s the exact opposite here. You would have more problems and people in your business all the time in a small town and as for the country,I have traveled most of it and it’s as a hole a wonderful place with pockets of shit!
Bill jones is a true American.
maybe true but lets hope not THE AVERAGE!
Living off of government assistance and putting addiction and animals he can't afford ahead of necessitys? The poor need help but the best help we can give them is sound financial advice.
jokermann100 ,
Makes sense but I'm afraid that's Pearls Before Swine
Bill is a very poor American...
The Judge ,
Do you think true Native Americans would at all use the word America from Amerigo Vespucci?
Yeah we got some cigarettes....ya want one? What a nice dude...thats so kind.
well to be fair he just got 500 dollars from this guy xD
???
lmao its just a bogie
I'm from Arkansas too, it's part of "Southern Hospitality" to share. Cigarettes are cheaper here too. Lol
And they say poverty breeds criminality. I couldn't imagine a humble gentleman like this act in anger or fear; he just seems like an honest American, who despite all his circumstances, hasn't succumbed to cynicism.
You and Bill Jones as different as you are are both good men. You did a good thing bud.
ETX MX awesome video.
I’m from Fort Smith. Where are they from?? (Bill and his gf)
Screw you.
@Bob Taint He didn't have to help him out at all. How is he using him?
Wow...this is awesome..being a southerner this makes me feel good...a lot of folks here live very simple and honest lives..when you drive by someone's home and see the "junk"..don't let it fool you..don't judge..because odds are..that person would come to your aid and give you their last dime if you needed it...that is what it means to be a Southerner!!
Yes, if outsiders knew this about people in the South, it might prevent a rush to judgement.
You just be you Mr Bill. We love you and God bless you.
Bill's looking well! Don't know if it's the fuller beard or not, but he looks as if he has gained weight.

I thought the same thing.
He certainly looks a lot cleaner.
It’s nice that Bill gained weight!
I think it's the thick sweater
Cut down on the crystal meth.

Bill is blessed with riches far greater than anything tangible.
This man literally says they have nothing, but offered a man in a Burberry hat one of his cigarettes. I know people who have plenty of money who are so stingy with their cigarettes, and everything else. What an awesome man!
@Stan dont be a hating stan
@Stan don't get all defensive with me young lady, i wasn't serious
"Well if they are over here bothering me they ain't bothering someone else." dang dude this man can't get any more humble and real this is what Americans are supposed to be like.
He reminds me of my neighbors, the ones that don't smoke crack and steal stuff.
My neighbors make Bill look like a Mormon. He (Bill) seems like a kind person who just wants to be free. Maybe a few too many dogs ( #FreeYappy) but I dont doubt for a second that he enjoys and takes care of them. Great follow up interview!
Go fuck yourself Cuffy!

@Door Bell So do white people, and every other race. Pump your breaks on the stereotypes on such a great video with all this positivity floating through the comments section.
What you tryna say about black people?
What a nice guy. Just a simple man who has an honest and kind heart! Thanks for sharing
You're very welcome. I actually just spoke to Bill. Check out the community tab on my channel for more on this:)
Even if I am from russia, and i hardly understand what Bill is saying (thank god for subtitles), I say = good job! There are many people like him in Russia too, totally relying on themselves all their life.
YES Alex! Putting all the politics aside, most people, in ALL countries, know that the average people would all get along quite well.

What you mean these kind of people, I took that to be offensive
So he must live in the river valley then .
Hey, it's nice that you visited him again, you should check on him in next year also ;)
Just come across this and this guy is the heart and soul of America god bless him best wishes from Stratford upon Avon UK
Keep your confederate flag flying high bill and be proud to fly it.
"Traitors to your country"? Really? The same people who hate this country, who talk crap about it and burn its flag, and say "America was never great!" are suddenly worried about someone being a traitor? LOL
Lisa67 🔥🔥🔥
you got a point but if its your part of the country that was fighting the other part of the country, they would see them as the traitors for threatening federal law in america essentially taking away the regional freedoms which is important in such a big place. i get where your coming from dude i get it i personal think its a wonderful thing. and if it aint important to you then you shouldnt care

"As long as they are bothering me they aren't out bothering others" what a great outlook. This guy is awesome.
"What the hell is a UA-cam?" lmfao... God bless Bill.
I like Bill and Jo. They're real people, honest and open and willing to welcome people. May God bless them.
This is the kind of man we need in this country.
"As long as they're messing with me, they leave someone else alone."
And if you didn't already, you should now realize that he's a kind soul.
When we are born we have zero choice on who or parents are, the financial status of our kin, or what geographical region and social stature your born into.... be a good , loving , kind , honesty and give back when you can... that's the makings of a good person and all are capable of that choice no matter what !
Feng Shui Luminescoul
Very nicely put!
Feng Shui Luminescoul - Well said. I've often said that about race. All souls are the same. It's luck of the draw coming here. Also religion. Depending on where you're born and the faith of your elders/region, that's what you identify with, unless you reject it altogether.
What a down to earth couple!
Bill and his lady are good people. Wish I could meet them.
This man is a true American hopefully everyone would donate and bless this guy!

Hi Adriana, thank you for commenting! :) And now I am curious: How do people in France usually think about Americans?

Nice of you 😊😊
Way to go Bill. A true honest human being comfortable in your own skin. Very uplifting. Thank you.
Bill needs his own show .
That's probably the last thing he needs. The outsiders who would produce that show would run his life into the ground. I couldn't imagine the hell he'd be going through if that mistake happened to him.

Hi from Canada 🇨🇦…..Love ❤️ you Bill!!
Hi from the U.S:) And blessings to Canada.
Lot of guys like Bill Jones all over the South.
James Smith hell I live in the south but there’s guys like this in northern states too like Montana and Idaho
For real! Nothing like them. Most are just nice guys.
Have you ever been to the south, I haven't but I know they mostly live in cities
A good heart simple honest man. Hard to come by these days without tricks up their sleeves. Bill jones is gold.
Beautiful story. Love the Part where she admits that GOD healed her. Regards from Argentina.
God bless Bill and his family. True American Patriot!!!
Much respect to you Bill from the UK when I eventually across the pond This is the America I want to see and meet people like Bill the true Americans 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Kinda gives you more faith in people. One of the good guys.
I grew up just an hour north of Arkansas and theres good people all around. Everyone is very humble.
God bless them! 🙏🏻⭐ Really good people
With the country as ideologically divided as it is today, these videos are a beautiful example of how we could - and should - be treating each other.
Good point
I really like this Man ! I wish him many blessings ! 🇨🇦
5:33 "he told me we saw you on youtube.. and I said what the heck is youtube?..." Gold :D
And I do admit that I still lay in bed for hours
But in the mean time I can do something else.
Edit: sorry my English is not really fine 😅
Couple errors soo sorry if that this statement annoyed you. Also thank you to auto correct for my bad English.
I luv this couple...they are simply people with big 💕...Id like to see more of them

Such a nice couple. A breath of fresh air. God Bless to you both
The average good o boy from the south. I've known (and liked) many just like this man. He's better folk than most. Glad you dropped him a little help.

I finally go the chance to watch the Bill Jones videos and read the comments- I "liked" all of them! It's refreshing to see and hear from someone who is so authentic!
Patriotism is within and individual.

trucker V how is it possible for you to know my political viewpoints based on the fact I would never choose to live In Arkansas.
