Listened to the audio version on my drive home last night and really loved the interview and the ethos of YT. I got my oldest son a Jeffsy Primus 26 earlier in the year as it was the best option for his riding and size, but as I've learned more about YT I'm so glad that's the bike we ended up with. He rode his Primus in the enduro at the US Open and got to meet Jack and Kasper who happened to be riding yellow Capras, and who signed his frame. Now his Primus 27 is in transit, and I think he and his brothers will be on YTs for many years to come.
Awesome episode as always was great to hear your answers Chris, hope the shoulder is healing up well! Love the fact that YT give those £15 for a demo back to the community and don’t really announce it
Another awesome episode and a great insight into YT. - my question is though, after all these interviews, how do you deal with the 'why don't you ride our bikes?' moment?
Ha, I find myself with the opportunity to ride quite a few different bikes these days which is awesome. The Jeffsy is definitely one that I wish could stay in my possession as it was a great all-rounder and a lot of fun to ride.
@@downtimepodcast but when you get asked by Markus - why don't you choose this as your personal bike? and then you have Neko asking the same about his Enduro frame...

love my 2022 jeffsy!!
Loving how honest Markus is, the AXS shifter comment had me laughing!
Ha, yeah they are a pretty straight forward bunch and don't hold back.
The new frame design is what drew me to the Jeffsy. The geo is better than the last model for sure

@@tim__sadler I've genuinely never been asked that by anyone.
@@downtimepodcast they flipped the questions back on you with this one - so be prepared for the next YT interview
@@tim__sadler ha, very true!
I can’t believe nobody said they would tell their 16-year-old self to buy/mine as much bitcoin as they possibly could as soon as it came out. ;-)
