Seems like the FCU had some errors as well when setting take off power or was it an overboost prevention?

You could probably right. Powersetting felt a bit strange, Markus said. But because of all the other bugs, it couldn't be testet properly ...

@@wolfgangkarner I hope they are going to check it as well at the maintenance...

If you don't mind sharing, what kind of fuel flow do you get? And how much is the annual maintenance?

What do you mean by "kind of fuel flow"? Max. fuel flow or average FF or consumption? Maintenance mostly depends on Hours of flight time and the cost are depending of many factors ... what has to be replaced or repaired ...

@@wolfgangkarner Cruise FF at say FL200, or better yet how much fuel total would you expect to burn on a typical 2h flight?. OK for maintenance, would you have a range of min/max total per year one can expect? I know this is not easy to answer, I'm just trying to get a ball park range to see if I should be thinking about a Cirrus or could go for the Meridian.. Thanks!

@@markor2476 You can check the consumption on my latest two videos. We flew from Augsburg (departure is online) to Cannes (arrival is online) which took us 1 hour 50 minutes. On departure we had 1020 lb on board, after landing 565 lb were left. So we burned 455 lb = 258 liters of jet A1. The direct distance is 336 NM, according to the flightplan: 440 NM (for SID and STAR). Due to strong headwinds in high altiudes we only went up to FL210, most efficient altitude would be FL280. Fortunately we could make a shortcut by flying a direct approach to Cannes which saved us another 10 minutes.
Interesting might be the comparison between the Meridian and an automobile: We flew fully loaded with 6 persons on board. Normally cars on longer journeys are occupied by 2 persons. Driving distance by car from Augsburg to Cannes would be around 850 km which consumes 85 liters of gasoline (10 l / 100km). 3 cars with 2 people on board would need ~255 liters of gasoline - the Meridian used 258 liters. If you calculate with 3 persons per car you certainly are environmentally better. But driving by car would need 9 hours 30 minutes ... flying time was 1 hour 50 minutes :)))
