I'm 5'2" and long waisted, I made the mistake of making a full circle skirt... It looked like the skirt ate me. 😂😂😂 Lesson learned. Love the video, thanks for the trend ideas!
I love these videos. I like to know the trends. I think it help me to sew up things I will wear and feel confident in. You save me all the hassle of having to research this myself. I really don't get out enough.
Thank you so much for all this information that you’ve researched and shared with us. Very much appreciated! Sending best wishes from Down Under 🥰🌺🌻🌸🌼💐🇦🇺😎
Lol. I have a straight rectangular larger shape. So I understand perfectly what you mean. it will look like I'm wearing someone else's clothes! Happy December 1st.
Have you found a pattern company that drafts for a straight silhouette? That’s my silhouette too and I usually have to grade amongst 2-3 sizes. I just purchased the men’s version of the Hudson pants to try as my measurements put me into one size. As far as the slip dress trend, I saw Alex Judge made the Sadie slip dress from Tessuti Patterns. It’s exactly what I was looking for…no cowl and it has the type of bodice I want. Thanks for the the trend pattern ideas.
As someone who probably hasn't been "on Trend" since about 1979, maybe I should not stick my oar in these waters ... but I rather got the impression from this that the dominant trend for winter 2024 is conservative and , honestly, quite dull. No reflection on your choice of patterns, those are always interesting.
well i did not include a lot of the bolder trends because i didn't think most of my audience would be interested in things like wearing panties over tights with nothing else on the bottom, or completely sheer tops and dresses, or giant handbags big enough to hold my pitbull. i tried to pick the most wearable ones. i'm sorry if it bored you.

That red "nightgown" is STUNNING on you! Wow. You need to get your courage up and wear that out and about.
thank you 😊
I only follow trends that follow me first, I consider it a happy accident. I have tailored trousers on my list. Thank you for the lovely video!
I love how you worded that! It describes me perfectly, but I've never thought to word it that way!
yes, it's nice when what you like happens to be in style. often more patterns will come out in that style and it can be convenient that way.
I really enjoy these videos - thanks for compiling.
Glad you like them!

I really like the Cheval coat! I have never made a coat. Maybe next winter. Nancy
you should give it a try! it's a fun challenge.
I've a bug about not wearing slips under clothes! At 70, I still like them. 2 see them as a clothing trend is oggling my brain:) Ciao.
slip dresses were popular in the 90s. i think this is their second re-emergence.
Thanks for the video! I like seeing the trends.
Thanks so much for watching!
Enjoyed it, Sara! 💗
thanks, Andra!
