@@DrainoOG I do some work for Algorand and that's why I say they probably won't be coming back, after they blew their 100 million dollar contract with them I highly doubt anybody will be willing to sponsor them again, seeing how their contract was for 5 years and only lasted them one season.

I'm a RC hobby fanatic. I'm 40 years old I haven't put down an RC car since I was 9 years old. I like cars and trucks off-road on road. I'm not big on drones but I'm very very happy to see that" my neighbor" in the hobby is driving it's awesome it's fun to watch I'm a horrible pilot but a great driver.
Not even in its best day did any competitive RC car or truck circuit gain this much traction.
Congratulations from where you have came from to where you are now in just a short period of time is unbelievable, the hard work put in has definitely paid off and i can only see it getting bigger and bigger.

i see the fun in it for the pilots and the racing teams.. but as the audience, not sure how thrilling the viewer's experience would be.. will just look like chaos given the small size of drones buzzing all around the place..

@@crashtestrc7213 I doubt it but maybe they have something up their sleeve. If they do start another season they will need new sponsors def won't be with algorand after they blew that 100 million dollar contract but because of that I doubt anybody will sponsor them now.

Please open source the Tx and Rx technology that you use in the physical radio-controlled quadcopters. I mean if DRL isn't going to start in-real-life racing again😢. Don't let the tech die.

Ya they need to open source racer 3 and 4 frames like they did with the R4. I was able to build the racer 4 easy but now I want to build a racer 2 and 3.

I like DRL they did something very unique in drone racing that really hasn't been done before and was able to turn it into more of a spectator sport from which there was not a lot of interest before. But what happened, my guess was they were too much in debt and then borrowed too much money to pay off that debt, I for one would like to know where that 100 million dollars they got from Algorand in 2022 went. They had a 5 year contract that lasted for only one season. It seemed like everything was fine until they made that deal I'm guessing they had people they had to pay off rather than spending it on DRL races and then they lost Algorand as sponsors. Its unfortunate they couldn't better manage everything and went broke squandering all their money.
