- My review on the C8 Corvette stingray 1lt coupe. This is probably hands down one of the best mid engine daily drivers and a dream car to many! Compared to Lamborghini, mclaren, ferrari and porche, You aren’t gonna get more bang for your buck anywhere else.
Here I will break down pro’s and cons of daily driving a car like this!

That's a dope car man. I got my 18 Mustang GT, and I'm not a fan of the sound or transmission, so I might get a C8 in the future or a GT3.

Paragon has sideview mirrors that'll expand your vision slightly. Believe me they help, I have the rear camera, and with those mirrors I change lanes with confidence.
Great review! Smooth flow of the narration and good camera work. Did you put your high wing on yourself or did it come with it? I have one for my 2020 coupe but it looks like a “I’m gonna need some assistance” kinda job, like my buddy helping me Lift off the rear bumper. We also have a ‘23 HTC we love as well! Great video! Good job on the video. Looking at it from a practical perspective, not just performance. I just picked up my used 2021 C8 HTC LT3 Z51 the other day, and I’m going through a steep learning curve. I had a 2019 Camaro 2SS that I really loved, but the lure of this beast was too much. I’m 6’4” so being able to fit is always my top priority. The C7’s were too small, but the C8 is just right. A couple things, I went with the HTC because of exactly what you showed, totally unusable rear trunk with the pop top in it. One thing I thought about is that it’s going to be tough to bring home anything bigger than a personal pan pizza unless it’s on the floor on the passenger side. I guess my passenger will just have grip it good whilst pulling G’s…

Theres a company called Quinten that makes covers for the engine vents for the C8. It'll keep water from entering the engine bay.

They make block offs for the vents, just be sure to remove them before you start driving or you'll have an overheating problem

i heard brushing your car will mess up the paint badly. but yours looks wrapped, I plan to buy a c8 and wrap is hows the brush on wrap?
It’s actually paint, but I make sure to rinse the brush before using and also I think how much pressure you apply is a big factor as well
I love my c8, not sure for others but only problem I have is the turn signal seems a bit far from the wheel. Sometimes I have trouble controlling it.
Never thought about that, I have abnormally big hands so I don’t have too much trouble grabbing it but I can see how I would if that wasn’t the case.

I would never go to a car wash and use a brush on my C8. Always hand wash your car.
Appreciate the video. I plan on placing an order for a 24 since it only takes 4mos. I’m thinking about the 2LT d/t the blindspot but I rented a 1LT and it wasn’t bad as I thought the visibility would be. Is the 2LT worth the extra $7,100 in your opinion or would you recommend sticking with the base as a daily driver. This will also be my 1st sports car by the way…
Dope thats one hell of a first sports car!! I think it would depend on where you live, if you are in an area with a lot of steep lot entrances then the front bumper lifting may be beneficial also if its cold where you live and you like the luxury of a heated seat then it may be worth it. Otherwise its all stuff you can live without honestly

I’ve got a ‘24 base 1LT C8 and the rearview camera mirror that was only on the 2&3LT’s from ‘20-‘23 is now standard for ‘24. No need to upgrade to a 2LT if that was your main deciding factor. I’m now glad I was bumped from a ‘23 to a ‘24 because of that one feature alone! The ‘24 also now has a soft close frunk.
@@BandDirector appreciate the reply. So the 23 1LT didn’t have a rear camera or are you stating that the rear camera was better than the previous one on the 2023 compared to the 2024? My issue are the blind spots while driving a 1LT

This is a Custom color, chevy doesn’t make the c8 in satin black.

Great presentation, you're a natural salesman. I'll bet you could sell these easy. Go to a local dealership and ask for a commission only job on weekends and talk to people just like you do in this video, just be yourself. I bet you would sell one or two Vettes a month. Yea plaid has double the horse power, all wheel drive, instant torque and no gears so thats not a surprise.

@@poserwanabe Bought torch red & black top, natural dipped tan interior, HTConvertible 3LT Z51 package Stingray last Fall. Live in the snowy & salty roads Northeast. So, I keep C8 in the garage for Winter & added paint protection, all to preserve its condition & value longer. Plus, driving it occasionally makes the experience feel more special. I don't want the crazy attention every day. So, I drive a regular Nissan Altima daily or ride my motorcycle when weather is good.

I notice all the damage you have on those front radiators from your shots. Such a bad grille design letting those rocks kick up into your radiators.
Lol How else would you design a grille that lets as much air in possible but not anything else?
There are several aftermarkets fixes you can go for to get around this design flaw. Just look at any corvette after a year of driving and their radiators look horrific from the damage (not to mention losing efficiency because of thermal fin damage).
