The reason Venti doesn't want to tell you what windblume Barbatos likes is because nobody except the traveler, Paimon, Diluc, and Jean knows that Venti is their god. He's not going to reveal himself as the god to his people for reasons you already know going through the Mondstadt storyline. Venti and Zhongli are basically incognito among their people. They don't really want to be worshipped as a ruler.

Barbara is an Idol because Alice gave her some KPop idol magazine from our world, and Alice told her Idols spread Joy and heal people's spirits. Meanwhile Alice was really trying to form a Teyvat Idol Group, but gave up when a certain someone in Inazuma wouldn't join.
Kaeya knowing hillichurlian may seem silly at first, but it's actually a clever foreshadowing of a massive lore bomb from later on in the story. You'll see what I mean as you continue to react to the Archon Quest! Bennett mentioning the Mare Jivari (same place mentioned in Venti's Story Quest) on his poem is also potentially foreshadowing, but we don't actually know for sure yet since we haven't gotten to the nation where the place is located.

Who else can’t wait for Ken and Bethany to catch up (whenever that will be, possibly a year or even more from now) and react to the new Simulanka event? I bet that they’ll absolutely love it
Nimrod is indeed one of the Legendary Drunkards of Monstadt. (There's a list, with elaborate descriptions rather than names.) And Lisa is hiding a lot; she's come to learn a lot of the darker underpinnings of the world and her over-flirtatious nature seems calculated to distract people from asking her questions they aren't aware they really don't want to hear the answers to. She does enjoy shocking people, but at least half the females who use Electro seem to derive some enjoyment in how easy it is to inflict momentary pain with the element and Lisa is extremely reluctant to personally work whenever it isn't necessary... the reason why being among those things we might not want to know. Everybody else has covered the deal with Kaeya, whose history with Venti is going to be a little complicated.
I love Genshin's events and I can't wait to see you guys real to some of the later ones after additional regions, where we get to see characters who've never met before interact. Some of those interactions are wholesome, some are tense, and some are absolutely hilarious. Glad to see you're enjoying this game!
Again, I wish this event had a yearly treatment like Lantern Rite does, but I’m not gonna fault an Asian based company for prioritizing their own celebrations. And I already explained the whole Lisa and electrocution thing in Patreon, but there’s actually a good example of what it would look like in a comedy aspect. If you ever watch the first ever episode of Pokémon, you’ll get a good glimpse as to how anime treats electrocution in a comedic fashion.
So THIS was the Windbloom Festival event. No wonder players keep wishing for another one. Also Kaeyas' poem and his reasoning have me internally screaming
I still remember the time playing this Event. Still one of the best imo. I loved the athmosphere and the great Interactions with all the characters. As a Kaeya main I can tell you there's so much lore to him...my head is always spinnig. I would like this kind of event more often. It was so well done.
@@bookswithike3256 true. But look how much time has passed sience then. It was also the way everything was done..I smiled the whole time while playing. I simply am greedy I guess ;)
@@faithrabbit4330 It's crazy how much lore is dropped in hangouts and events. Talking about Kaeya, the hangout part in Ormos where he plays the Prince...he literally spoild the whole situation. I also realized that most players don't do the hangouts anyway. They better should 😁
The thing with Lisa is that she is actually really really lazy. If people cause trouble, or don't return their books and she actually has to go do something about it, she's not going to be in a good mood, so the offending party is going to get shocked. Did I say she's lazy? she's actually just conserving her energy until she is needed.
The name Nimrod is actually from The Bible. Nimrod was a famous hunter and later became a king. You may be thinking of the pejorative usage of the name. That comes from Bugs Bunny. When Bugs Bunny first encounters Elmer Fudd, he sarcastically refers to Fudd as "poor little Nimrod." Most Americans, not knowing who Nimrod was, took it to mean "a fool" "inept" and "incompetent". "Foolish or incompetent" is now part of the definition of "nimrod" all thanks to a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
Kaeya’s letter to Venti in Hilichurlian is very interesting, because apparently there are 2 possible interpretations: "I love you" and "i triumph over you", which needless to say took over the community like a storm back when this event was first released, although apparently after much discussion "i triumph you" should be the correct translation considering the Chinese text (or at least that’s what i’ve heard), also, as fruity as Kaeya can be "i triumph over you" makes more sense lol (Also yes Genshin languages are translatable)
The missed context (from the rest of the game which everyone knew/suspected at that point of time) without actual spoilers is basically this: 1. Kayea is Khaenrian (he has star-shaped pupils, it is distinct Khaenrian trait, you can remember Dainsleif has the same) 2. Kayea knows hilichurlian 3. Hilichurls are primitive tribal race which is basically used as foot soldiers of the Abyss Order 4. Abyss Order trivia from Dainsleif quest which you've seen already, so I won't repeat all that From all those facts you can already estabilish some ominous theories about what happened in Teyvat To add another ominous note, there's a totally random fact for you - Teyvat as it is written in Hebrew is an unfinished phrase "Ark of..." Can't wait until you reach Enkanomiya and learn/read it's lore. Now THAT is going to be some uncomfortable lore bomb
many 4 star characters dont have story quests but have Hang-outs instead. They are sort of like visual novels since they are choose your own adventure style where you have different endings, and you can replay them to get the different endings. So it will probably be hard for you guys to react to. Barbara and Bennett and Noelle are some of those that have hangouts.
Bennett's explains a lot of his character, he has persistent bad luck so that no one wants to be on his adventure team. But despite his bad luck he always survives through perseverance. So in a way he is lucky. Always gets hurt, but never dies.
Albert is genuinely a stalker, not just an obsessive fan. Any time there's a quest about Barbara, he's never far behind, making her life slightly more stressful. Also wow, I'd forgotten how good this event was.

@@AlexThat200 Mona shouldn't be skipped because she'll appear in the Fontaine archon quests so they need some context there, but if you include the event with the golden apple archipelago that introduces her character or the 2nd windblume one with the witches' tea party cutscene, I think that's good enough too Also, I think Diluc should at least be included because his story quest was one of the scenes where people got hooked by the game. Plus, he appears in many events. It'll give them more context on why he's so moody with the knights (even if it doesn't delve into his past with Kaeya)
@@bookswithike3256 Because they were previously trying to do it one character per main story/event. I’m guessing their thought process is that they didn’t want to hold up the main stories by spending time on too many character quests. And they didn’t know certain quests actually integrate into the main story. Which meant they would have been missing a lot of character quests that correlate into other quests. Also because certain character only get introduced in their specific quests, so they would have to deal the MC acting like they’ve met them before those 2 actually did.
