I only played a bit of Dirge, back in the day, because I am pants at shooting games! A remaster would be interesting, especially if there's a very-easy-suitable-for-Grandmas mode. I might be able to complete that! 🤣 Thanks for another interesting video.
I like watching this stream. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I didn't expect a shooter style game at all. I like the story and the new things you learn about Vincent. And the enemies were cool.
I second you on that remaster/remake title of Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Redemption. I loved this game as an edgy teenager back then and I think I'll emu it with the retro achievements. Aside from the really awesome Redemption song, the OST was really enjoyable IMO, Hamauzu did an amazing job and snippets for XIII can be reminiscent to DoC. Big fan of Counteroffensive, Sneaky Cait Sith and Silent Edge❤ Hopefully we get to see this title remade :,)
I think it would be neat if they make Vincent play similar to Dante from DmC in Remake Part 3 and then give us a DLC to part 3 that goes through this story and make it a 2 person party of Vincent and Yuffie, or a 3 person party including Cait Sith/Reeve.
I'm calling we'll have a Vincent DLC for Rebirth that will basically be the new DoC. Nero, Weiss and the Turks are all ready to be used. We also know Vincent meets the Turks near the end of the game, I'm willing to bet we'll see how that *reunion* played out in a DLC.
I 100% think we will get a Dirge remake like we did with Crisis Core Gameplay updates, new voice actors and CGI cutscenes left alone (bar Rebirth cast VA's)
Gamers don’t know when to celebrate. PS+ premium is finally bringing back old games back from the death. The community should scream for that PS2 emulation for us to finally see this game among other bangers.
Never got to play it... Plus I suck at shooters and heard it was pretty bad. Wouldn't object to a chance to play an updated, refined version of they have it the Crisis Core treatment.

That would be so much fun! (I actually managed to complete DMC, and am still ridiculously proud of myself. It was very cathartic.)
Seeing Vincents weapon of choice it would be more accurate if he played similar to bayonetta.

I'd love a remaster of Dirge. If they don't do that then I hope Remake Part 3 has a massive Vincent section!

Controls are clunky for sure but I didn't hate my time with the game
