My absolute favorite is the one you hated! I would definitely wear that pant in a stiffer fabric like that. Love the crisp lines! Thank you for the great video!
My favorite is the floral linen with the Side slits! But I also love using a pattern over and over Becasue I know exactly how it will fit! I’ve got to make me some of those!
Thank you for the fabulous review and the presentation of the looks! I have purchased this pattern to make my own ballroom dance practice pants out of this crepe. I am making View D where I will use chiffon for the ruffles! I cannot wait to wear them!
First of all every pair is gorgeous on you! My 2 favs are the floral with slit ! And the black stripe pair. I even like your fail !! A few weeks ago I saw a video where you were showing the black and white pair and I loved them so much I hunted down the pattern and purchased!! I look forward to seeing your video makes! You do a great job!!!!
I love view B in the light weight ponte knit. But ... they all look great. This is such an interesting experiment! I would like to pick a dress pattern and do this - try several different fabrics to see how they behave.
I would have never bought that pattern because I'm so short, however it looks like a maxi skirt. I absolutely love the striped pair....now I may have to make a purchase! Thanks for the tip of sizing down.
I’m only 5’5” and have short legs. Use a soft, flowy fabric and/or wear a slight heel to give the illusion of height. I love my striped pair! I hope you sew and love yours too ❤️
Hi Sharon, my favorite is the second one you showed made of the light weight pointe. I really enjoyed seeing them all and the different fabrics! Even the denim ones! 🤗
I have thread envy. Your thread storage is simply lovely. I liked all of the pants with a pattern on them. I have this pattern and never sewed it up because I had another wide leg pant pattern that fit well but it’s limiting because it has a tie in the front to hold the pants up. Definitely going to make the view with the slits and the view with the flounce. Thanks for the inspiration!😘
I’m so lucky with my thread storage! I volunteer (sew) at a local non-profit and they were selling excess thread holders for $5 each! I had two already and bought a few more :-). Hey, did you sew your pants with the flounce yet?
Those are so gorgeous. I do love the border prints. You can spray the inside of the pants with hair spray to help with the clinging or mix hair conditioner with water...wet a wash cloth in the mixture...squeeze out the damp and run in the dryer with the pants. I love the pearl fabric. Have you thought to narrow the legs of the pants? Especially above the pearls.
Thanks for the suggestion on removing some of the static! I haven’t done anything with the denim and pearl pants yet, but have been thinking about recutting them into a new pair - with a narrower leg.
Cute veratile pattern. I wonder if you could sew a couple suspender like straps that cross in the back. Attach with some decorative buttons. Maybe a row of 3 buttons so you can adjust the tightness.
I love what you did here. To see the change in look between the different types of fabrics is so insightful. The light denim looks great for me but the feel of it is just as important, I guess. I like to sew all the styles on a pattern. Call me a completionist!😝
I have been traveling and yesterday I was catching up on my sewing vlogs while I finished my Love Notions Ballard blouse. Like you, I have really been drawn to the comfortable flowy pant trend and was excited to see your versions as I just picked this pattern up at the recent JoAnn's McCall sale. Thanks for the inspiration! Time to start digging through the stash!
I loved the puppy photo bombs. He seemed really interested in the show until your denim pair and I think his favorite pair is the paint with the slit sides 😂
O.M.G. I enjoyed and love all of these wonder ideal I actually have this pattern and to my surprise also have that denim fabric with the pearls also from Jo Anne , had this fabric for a while, and glad to know your recommendation not to due pants. When I purchased that fabric I knew I would have like to sew a jacket or a skirt ... 🤗❣️
@@SharonSews gurl I’m still trying to locate it 🤔 in my many of PILES “” I have to have it “” 🤣. I put it some where with my other high end fabrics. I will look this weekend again and for sure let you know … here is my IG I post it once I find it glamstage university 🤗❣️
They are all great. I have a similar pattern so this has given me inspiration. I actually like the denim . I know they don’t flow, but I don’t think that matters. I see a lot of rtw wide jeans which look great. Yours look even better with the little dots 🥰
I love the striped version and the floral pair with the side slit. I actually like the pants that you thought were a fail. They just look too big through the hips and waist. Otherwise I like the design on the bottom of the legs. Nice makes.
I think you might be right, and that’s what I don’t like about them. If I make them smaller I’d loose the side pocket…I haven’t done anything with them yet and may just recut into another pair of pants
It’s interesting that I do like the way they look when I see photos and video, but I hate how they feel when I wear them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mine too! But you have to feel good in something you wear or it ends up hanging in the closet....I can't wait to see what you sew up for the remake of this fabric!
Lovely selection of fabrics. 🇦🇺😊
Favorite-the first pair with the border print♥️
I love finding a pattern that works so well with a border print!
My absolute favorite is the one you hated! I would definitely wear that pant in a stiffer fabric like that. Love the crisp lines! Thank you for the great video!
Thanks! I'm reconsidering after learning that others - including you - like the pants!
They all look great. I love SR Harris.
SR Harris is the best!
Love view c and d happy sewing 😍👌🏾🌷
I have that pattern and have not been interested in sewing it. I love what you have created. I especially like the black with white flowers.
Your favorite is my favorite, too!
Thanks Susan!
You convinced me to sew this tonight with my own Betsey Johnson fabric, view D!
Love it!!!
Reminds me of 70's, pallazo pants
My favorite is your fail 🤣
They remind me of sailor pants. So cute with the white t-shirt. They look great on you!
My favorite is the floral linen with the Side slits! But I also love using a pattern over and over Becasue I know exactly how it will fit! I’ve got to make me some of those!
Love them all. The pearls tho.....😍
They all are beautiful but I’m with you on the favorite 👍
The striped is my fav.

Love your bold style Sharon!!👏👏All of these pants look great.
Thank you! 😍
Your favorite is my favorite too. Thank you.
Thank you so much ❤ love your videos and pants
Thank you! One of my favorite wide leg pants pattern, and I have sewn four or five more pairs after this video was produced.
Number 6 was my fave! I love florals! And I LOVE videos like this! I learn so much from your work and experimentation! Thank you! 💜💜💜
I can’t choose just one favorite. They are all so pretty and fit you so well.
Aw, well thanks Susan!
Kind od reminds me of the island pants. ( or diaper pants) would make cute shorts too.
I love view B in the light weight ponte knit. But ... they all look great. This is such an interesting experiment! I would like to pick a dress pattern and do this - try several different fabrics to see how they behave.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
The flounce!!!

They all look fantastic on you. I love the wide leg look. 🐨🇦🇺
Thank you Diane! I also like the wide leg look!
Love them. Spray hair spray on pants to stop static.
I never knew you could spray hairspray to stop static. Thanks!
I love thrm all even the " fail", but my all time favourites is the floral with the split and flounce!

Oh you’re going to love this pattern!
Working on developing some tnts and this video was great
I LOVE hearing that! Thanks for commenting and letting me know. Good luck with your TNTs!
View D is so great!
Thanks! I love that one also ❤️
Great video! Showing the fabric choices is helpful and instructional. My fav is #7.
I loved the puppy photo bombs. He seemed really interested in the show until your denim pair and I think his favorite pair is the paint with the slit sides 😂
Haha! Yea, she's a nosy one and I noticed how she lost interest at that point too 😂
I liked the denim one. Was it just not comfortable?
The denim ones are so stiff and uncomfortable to wear.
I’ve got to get M7786. It wasn’t on my radar until you started making it!

I sewed this and the front waistband is not lining up with the back! It sits higher. Any advice?
Would washing the denim in coke soften them? Never tried it but read about it.
I should try that! I tried it with a linen blend but it didn’t work. Maybe it needs to be denim.
Love them all. Have you tried wool dryer balls against the static cling?
I bought some wool dryer balls after you suggested it! It does help

I find a spray of fine hairspray helps with static😀
I’ll try that! Thanks!
Vinegar rinse or put on a wash clothes and throw in dryer Takes away cling.
Thanks! I didn’t know that.
😍👌🏾🌷
Too bad the denim ones didn't work out because they were my favorite.
It’s interesting that I do like the way they look when I see photos and video, but I hate how they feel when I wear them. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@enidearl3906 exactly! That’s why I haven’t worn them and I sewed them a year ago! 🤦🏻♀️
