Ive got a 2007 M50, and I agree, the styling I think is a little better being different to the other Boulevards, and the round speedo is still better looking than the half round one on the newer bikes. Also Im 1.75m tall, my knees just tuck up under the tank, the reach puts me in a slightly more sporty C shape, leaning forward just a little with my feet out in front of me. Annd with a pair of V&H pipes, a K&N air filter, it sounds just awesome! Still faster than 95% of cars, so fast enough for me (right now)
Picked up my '06 M50 for about 3500CAD with about 40,000kms on it. Fantastic bike, fuel injected, liquid cooled, shaft drive; all the things you usually find on bikes that are much more pricey. My only complaints with it is the ginormous air box cover on the right side and the lack of a fuel gauge. This thing definitely beats out the Kawi Vulcan 900 and the Honda Shadow of similar years in my books.
@@DevilishBf There is some differences. I prefer the m50 for the handlebar mounted guages as opposed to the tank mounted kawi guages. With a full face helmet you have to take your eyes fully off the road to check your speed. Gets old fast. Operationally they are very similar bikes. The kawi has slightly more get up and go thanks to it's slightly larger displacement. But the shaft drive of the m50 is relatively maintenance free and very forgiving on the gear change. Both are good bikes. I recommend testing out an m50, see if you like it. Or. Buy both. 😆
A little protip with shooting shots of the bike. Switch the camera up to 60fps then you can slow it down to 24fps when editing/processing. That'll give you a nice slowmo and remove some of the hand shake. Also if you want to wrap the full length of the forks in black vinyl you can go all the way to the seals. You just have to heat and stretch the vinyl, plus give you a nice line to cut around. Other than that great video mate. Looking at going from a triumph 675 to one of these maybe
Cheers for the pointer! Always looking at working on it, so appreciate it! Yeah I was a bit slack doing the wrap and didn't use any heat, I'll probably try to do it properly next time I do something similar!
The M-class Suzuki 50. 90, 109R, very classy, nicely made and rider friendly. For me it's a flip between the s50 and the Intruder which are the same bike just the model name was changed, i just have a love for Suzuki style and performance. Peace.
Seems like a great bike. I'm currently riding a Nighthawk CB750 but because I'm short I always feel a littler nervous riding so high with 500 pounds. I'm thinking that sitting lower to the ground, the 590 lbs of this C50 would be better for me. The Nighthawk is fun and fast, but I think I'm ready for slow and smooth LOL
I have an 07S40 which is the 650 I do really enjoy it however I am looking to get a twin I've been writing enough single cylinders where they have not gotten boring but I just would like. A little bit more performance. And I love my boulevard so I'm thinking that the 800 will be a nice step
I have a 2006 SV650 with a lot of nice upgrades, but I'm looking into cruisers. I live in they Bay Area, so lane splitting and being nimble is a must for me. Would the M50 be a good substitute? I'm having a hard time to find reasons to part with my SV
I have the m109r and watching video’s about the m50 because my wife wants one but she is wanting the gen 2 that looks exactly like the same as the m109r
My father had this bike, after he passed away I inherited it. He bought in 2009, first owner. Before that we had some kawasaki 250. I ride these too bike in the last 13 years. But now I have the feeling that is too big for me. But I'm not a small person just like you. 190cm tall, 100kg. Just in the low speed I don't like that much, and it's a little big bike. What do you think of these two bike: Suzuki gsx s750 vs sv650? 650 is an entry bike I guess, and I'm not a beginner so I should choose the bigger one? I should try it in some salone, how it's feel. It's a totally different riding style.
Hey man, I think I've got a few links in some of thenother videos on it, but the bars were off ebay, the grips are trip machine leathers and the headlight is from aliexpress
Any (former) owners? Did a testride on one of these today and noticed the throttle had a delayed response. It gave some reaction but took some time to get going. Is this normal for this shaft drive or normal for this bike?
How will this fair for a fellow lank? 6'5. It's this or the Vulcan 900 in that middleweight range I want. If they don't fit I'll have to get a bus like the 90 and 109.
Another great review!
I was thinking of getting this bike and now I'm sold
Great review. The 700-1000cc metric cruiser market is very good value for people looking for affordable bikes that are generally not abused.
I have a 2006 m50 and I love mine, she's clean as hell

Hey. Great video. I just picked up a 2007 m50 with a green paint job. I was thinking about blacking it out. Did you vinyl wrap your forks? Thanks.

Yo bit late to the game but do ya ever find the bike too small height wise?
Hello💡
I’m riding an M50 in Japan.
It ’s very cool and custom😁✨
How can you have this amazing sound on it ! I just bought my m800 but my original sound is really quite….tell me your tips !

Nice review! Regarding Suzuki lineup dont forget the S40 which is the smallest in the Boulevard line. Also the 109 comes only in M.
They definitely do have a c109! Might not make it anymore, but there's plenty of them out there

I've just gone from an m50 to an 06Sv650, so I don't think I'd be able to convince you to go the other way!
Where did you get those black fork tube covers and integrated blinkers?
@@NStraveler the forks are just a little bit of black vinyl wrap, the indicators were off AliExpress from memory
I really dislike those handlebars 🤣😂

If you're not in a rush, I may have some sv650 videos on the channel soon, so hang around!
@@Tempcitz I will, I'm not in the rush. In the maintime i practice slow speed manuvare
Does 75,000 milage in this bike is a lot mileage to consider?

Man I want that bike tell me more
I just picked up a 2014 with low miles today for $3500 great little bike at a great price.
nice dude!
I think it be cool if it was air cooled I don’t know why they need a radiator it’s not like you go that fast on it anyway

Got some small rectangular mirrors, and they vibrate less...the factory ones suck, but was looking for good bar end
Where’d you get your mirrors from? I just got mine and i dont know where to look for aftermarket parts
im looking at getting one nearly identical to this (for 3k USD!!!) but it has the stock exhaust, what brand is yours?
Vance and Hines!
Can you put a link on where you got the parts and accessories for this bike?
I've got links in some of the other videos I did on it!
Thanks!

I'm a former owner. This was my bike. Doesn't sound normal, an issue with slack in the throttle cable maybe?
