Kalush orchestra in the video you are watching were performing 8 days before the war broke out. The girls are performing after 700+ days of an ongoing war. Can their performance be entertaining and not dark? And you're totally wrong, they are not trying to model the guys, it's their style of music, typical to many musicians in Ukraine. Stefania was my favorite song from 2022 even before the war cause I saw them in Vidbir and my country borders Ukraine, our folk music is similar so I like this mix. Try reacting to Go_A - Shum ,the Eurovision final performance ,for me that's what Eurovision is all about, great song, great staging, mix of traditional and modern that is culturally relevant to the country, great staging, super fun.
