Hi Renata, I’m a former NYer and I have lived in SF also but left many years ago. My wife and I are planning to retire in the Philippines, her home country, next spring. No mass shootings, people are friendly, lower cost of living and it’s easy to travel to other south eastern nations. We can not live a comfortable life here in the US in retirement. Sad but we are looking forward to a new adventure.
I'd leave also. I think even if things started to improve, it's already a very saturated market. Costs are high in the States. Healthcare is expensive. Very divided country
I am not so sure the West is doomed, but it's not the value it once was. You don't get a lot of lifestyle for your money. You can have a really reasonable standard of living in a lot of places out of the West.
Universities are brainwashing camps in America and drive through culture is stupid the fact that you think California is a place to live really says it all.
It's free if she gets her italian passport. Also, not everyone wants to live in a cultural dead zone with violence everywhere. Cali is a communist hell hole. I can see why she doesn't want to be there.
@@Kdk9MERCalifornia is fantastic! I have a great education and worked around the world. My salary here was 10 times what I earned in Italy. Property is cheap and building is very affordable. Cars don’t rust and the food is incredible! Travel! You will love California! You are using technology that was developed here!
@@rebornabroad I recently acquired Italian citizenship Does that give healthcare access even without residency in Italy? I'm curious what other benefits EU citizenship has.

Good video! I think as things continue to decline in the west, more people will explore alternative options.

@@rebornabroad Agreed. Well only time will tell!
You forgot where trump puts his tiny hands in the thumbnail.
Haha he does have tiny hands!
The USA has the worlds best healthcare, 7 of the top ten universities, fantastic salaries! Stock options!

This lady is nuts. Healthcare s free when you are retired! I bought land and built a house in CA for $100,000.
Get busy!

@@rebornabroad California is now the worlds 4th largest economy. Of course a relevant education and a work ethic is required. Bye.
Boasting about living in California?! Lol
Eventually, when the prices of things keep rising and a lot more bs that'll happen. You'll realize lol
