It's what you make of it. This young fella is very responsible it shows that if you have a US passport, you don't need to make excuses. You can achieve a lot more than you think you can overseas and for far less capital. Even if you had a rough life you can build something here.

Im vietnamese, in decase US & alots Western countries is failing so fast so bad downhill & turn into shitty hole
Its not because of Refugees or immigrants & illegal immigrated
(Btw, refugees & illegal immigrated is big ass problems)
BUT BIGGEST ROOTS PROBLEM IS US & ALOT WESTERN COUNTRY KEEP CREATE UNBELIEVABLE RIDICULOUS STUPID LAWS SYSTEM!!
They have laws system to protect & support these druggies thug, robbers, thrives, brutal violence attackers & criminals!!
A thugs/criminals stabbing people to dead in brutal violence way, stabbing them 20-30times nonstop to torture them to dead, they can get away with their crimes act like nothing!!
If they get caught, they’re facing MOTHEFKER SOFTEST PUNISHMENT BY LEGAL LAWS, like 6 month or & month to 1year in jails!! What the fk??
Release & keep doing same dangerous, brutal inhumane crime again & again!!
Shooting second victims, killing third victims, they get totally 7YEARS & only take 4 year in jails & RE-FK-LEASE!!
This is not rarely, it happened everyday & everywhere in US/CAN/UK/FRANCE & alots country.
The problem they have & keep have UNBELIEVABLE RIDICULOUS STUPID & WEIRDO & UNFAIR LAWS!!
Mayors, D.A, JUDGE COURT TEAMS will find any excuse reason to PROTECT THE CRIMINAL TO DOWNGRADE THEIR CRIMES ACTS, so they can avoid harshly punished & avoid lifetime in jails & avoid dead penalty!!
When i was teenage & younger, media & movies & news is BRAINWASHED ME how good & smart US & WESTERN LAWSUITS SYSTEM!!
But it turns out out liars & fake.
They let stupid & uneducated & low IQ working in gorvement & office & lawmakers!!
That’s why they keep create ALLIES LAWS SYSTEM LIKE THIS TO PROTECT THUGS, DRUGGIES & CRIMINALS IN THEIR HEARTBEAT!!
They’re cold blood & unfair & INHUMANE TO INNOCENT VICTIMS & LAW ABIDING ORDINARY CITIZENS!!
Soft laws on drug & criminals is CRUEL & INHUMANE TO INNOCENT VICTIMS.

Not just Vietnam, but alots ASIA COUNTRY IS SIMILAR SAME!!
We have BOLD-ASS STRICT LAWS ON DRUGS, THRIVES, ARMED ROBBERY & BRUTAL VIOLENCE CRIMINALS!!
In Vietnam, China, Japan, Hongkong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia even women/girl can walking in late 11PM no problem
Kid & teenage playing outside at 9-10PM no problem!!
SWEDEN & NEW ZEALAND consider as TOP TIER SAFEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
But adults male cant fk even walking in late night ALONE in the street & mid night in the parks!!
Say whatever but Vietnam & ASIA IS BEAUTIFUL & BLESS BY GOD & EARTH!!
And we have STRICT & GREAT LAWS when it come to violence & criminals!!
Of course Vietnam still have sime problems about CORRUPT & BAD TRAFFIC & ppl might drive back lsme & pass the red light 🚦
But to compare to US & alots country in SOUTH AMERICA, CARRIBEAN, AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST.. it not even a problem!!
People living in happy, freedom & SAFTY & SAFETY which alots country could dream off

Vietnam is Buddhism country so vegan foods is available
You just see restaurants with “CHAY” it means VEGAN.
Quán chay (smaller shop/family shop, street vendors foods, vegans foods)
    Nhà hàng chay (restaurant vegan)
    Cơm chay (rice vegan)
WHATEVER WITH “CHAY” you know it have vegan foods, just remember this

Can someone warn this brotha about what he’s getting himself into.

    • @rebornabroad
      @rebornabroad  3 місяці тому +2

He is doing pretty well. I don't think he needs a warning. He is popular with the employer and the schools. He has a good attitude. I think he could be successful at anything he does.

@@rebornabroad Is He doing as good as that guy you roped into moving to saigon a few years ago and investing some money into some bs restaurant? Who's willing to bet that a few minutes after I reply to this you run to that little group of yours to get people to reply to me and talk about how great you are and you aren't scamming people selling them fools gold?
In a few months the brotha in that video will "get" it. And you wont post anything else about him again and run through a few more videos hyping places where people can say "Hey I'm an expat."

If you don't have a degree in a relevant discipline, you won't land a respectable job at a reputable school. Your only option will be to work for a fly-by-night English center or school that will most likely withhold your pay and/or dispose of you the moment someone younger, whiter, more attractive, etc., comes along. However, if you can entertain and keep the students happy, you might be allowed to stick around for a while, assuming you have the tolerance for being the butt of the joke, so to speak.

    • @rebornabroad
      @rebornabroad  2 місяці тому

Totally depends on who you know. I know own recruiters that need to staff for over 100 public schools. I know hundreds of centers nationwide, and many are ok to work for. Degree doesn't mean much if you are young and white. Unless you're looking to work in international schools. For me, I'd rather avoid a bunch of woke narcissistic foreigners. Very naive understanding you have of how Vietnam operates. Thanks for the comment, though 👍
Also, any place here will disregard you if they don't need you. Being a lifelong r
Esl teacher isn't really something to aspire for, even with all your documents. 90% of the people I get jobs end up opening something of their own or developing online income. I could see why your sensitive though.... if that's all you got.......

@@rebornabroad I’m just telling it like it is. No one’s landing an actual teaching gig without the proper credentials (e.g., a degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or Education). He may identify as an ESL [sic] teacher here, but to the recruiters and prospective employers, he’s about as convincing as a man in a dress. Nevertheless, they’ll play along with his delusions if his passport, L1 or appearance can help them turn a quick profit. He just shouldn’t get too attached to it because unskilled foreigners like him are a dime a dozen here, and the schools and centers that employ him may ghost him when payday comes along. And when it does happen, he’s probably going to regret leaving his job at McDonald’s.

    • @rebornabroad

In your narcissistic fantasy, maybe, but we get people jobs all the time. If that upsets you, I suggest you can have a good cry 😢 about it. Some have been working for years. 😢 😭 😿 😢 mmmmm your tears are delicious try whipping them with your degree

@@rebornabroad I’m not interested in whatever it is that you’re peddling. I don’t need to rely on fraudsters on the internet to get my foot in the door at a seedy English center. Besides, I’m already employed as a real teacher at a reputable university. What’s more, you come across like Kamala Harris promising to fulfill naive people’s “hopes, dreams and aspirations” while delivering misery.

We try and keep it real and based in reality I built my brand around telling people the good and bad. So they can make the right choices for themselves. Teaching in Vietnam is 💯 about making people like you and how you look. You are either lying or pushing a native to not admit that.
