Actually, Sheikh was looking at 3 clubs. City, Everton and Newcastle, he looked for land around the club to build on and who has the best loyal fans and he chose us, City. Therefore, we did help the turnaround. do your research before throwing about what you think is right..

Won 4 FA Cups 2 League Championships 2 League Cups 1 European Cup winners Cup before Sheik monsur and we finished in the top ten in the Premier league few months before the takeover MCFC

Frustrating club for much of the late 90's early 2000's and its amazing they didnt get relegated again after that before the Sheik came

It wasn’t though, was it? It was City’s lowest moment in 130 years. It was the only season City got relegated to the Third Tier ever. And City’s average league position since 1894 is 6th in the top division.
