After taking an extended test drive of a Fiat 500e last week, I immediately placed an order and it will replace my current drive, a Twingo GT, later this month. As a newcomer to BEVs, these videos give me a very clear idea of what range I can expect and it looks like I can do all my charging at home.
Another excellent test. I have been looking forward to the Fiat 500e and I like the look of it, seems pretty efficient hopefully it will not have a problem with charging when the battery is hot!
Thanks to you I now know the best speed for my little ball is 130 (and I'm happy about that haha). Thanks for taking your time and the calculations! Gonna subscribe for the future since next year there might be an ID3 for my parents (;
I would like to use a 500e as a commuter car. I have a 65 km commute each way, so that's a total of 130 km, and I can't charge at my workplace. It's all highway driving at 110 km/h, occasionally reaching 130 km/h. Can I make it to and from work without issues with the Fiat's 42 kWh battery on a cold winter day with minus degrees?
Hi Great table at the end. I know you have done lots of videos on the e-up, in your experience does the e-up have significantly less range than the fiat 500e with the larger battery or would you say they are similar?
This is a well made electric car. I cant believe, so many people still buying this in the combustion version, cause its way better as an electric car. This is pure ignorance.
well it's an entirely different vehicle. main reason people don't go electric is because they don't look past the upfront purchase price. The old one sucks and looks 10yo inside but is cheap. so it still gets bought, I personally got this one (though not in black, that should be a crime!) and love it! driving mainly 90kph in ideal conditions I've managed over 320km wltp also :)
The regular 1.3 Multijet diesel 500 can do over 1100km with 47 liters of diesel. I'd buy this only for city driving and only if I could charge at home.
Wow, you're paying very little for the charging, here in Poland it would cost like 10 times that on a fast charger! Almost 2 times more on a regular charger! 😖
so were is the news report on the evening news about car on fire. Its big news your papers must have been full of pictures Since any ev that catches fire is world news I have not seen anything about this fire. Now say it was a petrol car and it does not matter that they catch fire but when an ev has a problem and catches fire BIG news

Thank you for the video Chris! The fiat 500e just puts a smile on your face :P I just love driving it
Better consumption than previous model f500e. Definitely.
Thank you for video!
Thanks for a great video! I just bought a 500e Icon and so far I’m super happy with it!

Just say, what a nice car 😀
Another great video, thanks for sharing!!….
Thanks battery dude
RaCoBe test is the best.
Fantastic
Really a nice car. 👍 Has the car liquid cooling für the battery?
And thank you very much for showing Soilwork. Now, I found a new great Band! 🤗
Yes, it has liquid cooling for the HV battery
i guess the honda e would be on the worst half of these numbers... but still i love it :)
12:44 is an interesting view with both side mirrors in the view Like an insect or so

👍👍!
Great video ! have you had any troubles with the car software until now ?
This was a press car I only had for 2 weeks.
I test EVs and manufacturers give me Press cars to test.

I have not driven the eUp in the same weather. Fiat has more range and better charging. But eUp drives better.

Sehr gutes Video, aber wieso hast du dein Handy per Kabel verbunden? Android Auto/Apple Carplay ist doch Wireless
Danke. Muß das Auto können und man braucht Android 11. Zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte ich noch Android 10.
@@BatteryLife ah Okay, danke 😁. Der Fiat kann's auf jeden Fall.

this was a while ago, it is more now
@@BatteryLife ah alright!
I wonder what Cindy thinks of the fiat 500e, usually women loves the small fiat.
Coming soon
@@BatteryLife Oh, looking forward to that one!
