Solid set, pretty excited to pick them up but I agree that there's nothing that crazy, kinda feels like the 1st Super Hero Kuji with decent figures but fairly safe & nothing super special. I think Arinsu either promised Glorio something he wants/needs or she's just heavily paying him as a merc type character but after spending time with Goku & the others he'll ultimately have a change of heart & go against her plans to help the group. So many questions & theories man loving it so much 😂
I agree that prize E might be the best in the set. At least Shenron’s crooked jaw is fixable with heat and the figure looks better from an angle like on the front of the box
can't lie shenron is a big disappointment. i was hoping they would make sure this release was more straight up and symmetrical... oh well im still very happy with my super hero one, not sure if i will get this one too.
Im not a big fan of daima so shenron was the most interesting figure for me. I thougth we get an upgrade but somehow i like the older one more. Not sure if i should get the new shenron. I think i wait for the euro prices and decide then
@MatchesPeaches i prefer the one in the Dragon Ball Super Set. I like the darker colors. They really should make a whole new one instead recycle the same figure 😅
I'm probably part of the unpopular opinion because I think this wave leaves a lot to be desired overall. I don't know if it was to try to imitate Daima's colorful style, but I feel that the figures lack a little more shading, as well as giving more emphasis to the characters' expressions by using a thin black line in the mouth, just as they used for the contours of the eyes. Because only Goku and Vegeta have it. Overall, I look at these figures and I'm sad to feel that they don't have the quality that Masterlise has always accustomed us to. The type of paint on them makes them look like a typical Happy Meal plastic toy when placed next to figures from other Ichiban Kuji waves. Unfortunately, they may turn out to be the only Daima Masterlise figures with these characters that we will have.
I would have liked to see in the size comparison them against the Gohan from the saiyan saga kuji. They are the same age storywise. Makes sense they are a bit smaller than the kid Goku figures because he’s 12 in DB but only 5 in Daima.
i think the shenron just fine, since i dont have it they are cheaper than the other 2 tho, i have porunga and GT red dragon, the eyes looks less menancing but thats the pose when we look on something. i bet its quite poping on sehelf
Great review! Bulma and Goku v Vegeta were standouts to me too. While I’d also like if they were bigger, I’d argue they are to scale since Goku and co. are like 6-7 years old, and he’s pretty in line with Mystical Adventure Goku (when he’s like 12-13).
I agree with that. I think the only reason I'd like a half inch is because then Goku would be at the same height as the crouched Mystical Adventure... and also a little taller than Pan lmao

No, Match Makers are crane figures. They're smaller. I'm not familiar with Soul Edge.
