Finding the keycode for a 2018 Ford Edge keyless entry

We bought a used 2018 Ford Edge Titanium. I love the keyless entry feature on Fords! But I didn't get the keycode from the dealer. However I picked up a neat way to get the code myself using both key fobs. If you only have one fob, this won't work. Hope this helps someone - and this might work on some other Ford models as well. Not sure.

Why is this technique designed by pressing between numbers? it reduces the number of incorrect numbers. How many attempts allowed?

What if my car only comes with one key? I recall the escape had it somewhere under the glove compartment.

I think it is under the dash near the driver's side floor and also I have been told it's located in the back of the car somewhere. I will read up on it and let you know if I find anything definite 👍

I will say I was able to find it in both my Freestyle and my Sport trac on a sticker

It’s on a sticker behind the fuse block on the driver side kick panel. There’s one bolt holding the fuse panel that needs to be removed, then pull the panel out a couple inches to use a mirror.

I had two keys, but this didn't work for me. I'll check with the dealer the next time I take it in for service.

You need to remove the back left interior panel next to the cargo area. I haven't done this yet but it is supposed to come off with a screw driver. Behind that you will find the door code on a black box. That box is the Remote access module or something. 6 digit code. Hope that helps! Let me know
