- I like how easy this pattern is to make, with a very pretty result. I've used the Sonic Lame (you can use an old-school lame, as well), normal household scissors, and a comb.

I'm sharing these videos as inspiration for scoring patterns. No one is forcing the Sonic Lame on anyone (it's sold out anyways). Like I said above, you can use any normal lame to make this pattern, if you're annoyed by the noise ;) Or simply ignore my videos ;) Happy scoring!
Well I enjoyed the patterns.. but he's 100% right the noise is very unpleasant..
I keep the sonic lame next to my electric toothbrush.

Can you show the Philips sonic care brush you are using?
I'm using the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean (because I had already used it before as, well, my toothbrush ;)). But the cheaper ones work well, too. And in this video I'm using the prototype for my own sonic handle.
What's with all the guff, it's nice to know what it sounds like before potentially buying something like that.

That's a sonic toothbrush with a McGuyvered razor blade tip. You can do the same by modifying a regular tip.

What are the benefits of the sonic lame??
Great question@@lisaporria7307 ! The blade vibrates so fast that it won't stick to the dough at all. Customers have described it as scoring with a lightsaber, or with a lame on steroids :D It's helpful for the pattern cuts as well as for the ear cuts, since it lets you take your sweet time scoring.
