@@charlesiofaustria7361 probably the best QB for them when you take longevity into account; Kurt Warner and Carson Palmer had higher highs but they also weren't there very long.
OJ Anderson is STILL the Cardinals all time leading rusher, you're certainly right.
McNabb not being on Rushmore is criminal
It's rlly not he was trash in the playoffs
He cost them a super win so no.
Eagles have had soo many great players
@@PopularNobody McNabb was such an unclutch QB.
one of the most overrated football players of my life
Broncos- Champ Bailey
Definitely
Agreed prime Broncos Champ is the best corner the nfl has ever seen
@@ThelegendTMC I would take him or D. Green over Deon any day
@@clownworldtimes6434 lol and the one correction he makes is to put Manning on it 🤦
Steve Atwater
He knocked out himself along with two other players in the superbowl
Thats how much Mr Atwater wanted to win
would love to see more videos like this from you. good shit barry
As a Packer fan, I'm glad you didn't move Bart Starr off. Even if he is the worst QB of the 3 we have on our Mt. Rushmore, he is also the most clutch of the 3 of them. It really sucks that those Packers teams from the 60s are only credited with 2 Superbowl rings, they had won the NFL Championship 3 times prior to the Superbowl era, including a 3-peat that spilled into the SB era from 1965 to 1967
It's goofy and stupid to discount championships simply because they call them "Super Bowl" now, yet nearly everyone I talk to about football will openly say "Anything before the Super Bowl doesn't count". WHAT?!?😮
@@tedbundywastheultimatechad8400 honestly! It's so stupid. Like those players wanted to win just as much as players today. And they fought hard to win whatever championship they were trying to bring home. It isn't their fault that they played in an era before the superbowl was a thing.
In that case, The Lions won a Superbowl in 1957.
@@MF_DOOMer you're right. A championship is a championship.
Uh....i don't think he looked at Lance Alworth numbers in the SIXTIES!!
Ooh a rare reaction video from Barry! That sounds awesome!
Put some respect on Mel Hein!!
Bobby Night Train Lane earned his spot because he won three championships with the Lions, 52, 53, 57, and when he retired in 63 he led the NFL in completions, touchdowns, and yards. As one comment read on here, a no-brainer. I do like Matthew Stafford and he has better stats but come on, 3 NFL championships and leading in many areas during that era football.
I think Mt Rushmore is less about top 4 best players and more about top 4 most iconic players
Clicked on the notification right away, pretty sure this saved my life from the devils lettuce
I already commented this in the Mt. Rushmore video, but I wish NFL Throwback made a series about forming the ultimate roster from every franchise, and put them in a simulation to find out which is the greatest NFL team of all time.
@@bonzobonanza that would be awesome!
I don’t care team by team I just wanna know Barry’s My Rushmores for important characteristics like “Hard Working Deceptively Athletic Daughter Daters” or “Classy Respecter of Women” and of course “Stat Padder”
I think a team's Mount Rushmore kind of implies an importance to a franchise too though, not just the 4 best players to wear the jersey. So I would keep Vick, Groza, TD, Tarkenton
@@StarvinLG exactly why I think it makes no sense to not only put Peyton Manning on the Broncos', but also having him replace arguably the most important piece to them winning their two '90s Super Bowls; no matter how short Terrell Davis' career was, he basically did everything a RB can do and he was still there longer than Manning was.
No mention of Christian McCaffrey for the Panthers is a HUGE oversight! Easily the best player they’ve ever had on their team.
He was injured half of the seasons he spent with the team and split snaps with Stewart his rookie year. I would say Sam Mills, Greg Olsen, Ryan Kalil, and Thomas Davis all deserve a spot on the Mt before he does and I love CMC.
Not having Polamalu is crazy
A Steelers Mount Rushmore without Troy Polamalu is nasty work.
9:00 Stafford isn’t a better player than Night Train Lane.
Or Dick LeBeau
Night Train STILL holds the NFL record for interceptions in a season with 14 in 1952. Keep in mind, a season back then only had 12 games!
@@Quartzquiz333 he did that with the Rams though.
@@lzv6990 Idk how Barry can think Stafford deserves to be on it over Bobby Layne; it's like putting Drew Bledsoe on the Pats' Mount Rushmore over Tom Brady 🤣
@@SteelerFanInRI nah Bobby layne is automatically off Mt Rushmore because that drunk fuck cursed us
15:30 Credit for picking Dwight Stephenson.
Hey Barry, i rally enjoyed this segment GJ.
As a Bucs fan finally some respect for roddy white and you showed love to m1k3
You have the greatest videos. I love how much you just don't give a crap. 🤣😊
How the hell you gonna say TD only played four seasons then replace him with Peyton who played in Denver for... four seasons?
Yeah, his logic was super faulty there, especially considering he only put in like 2.5 years of elite play
Dan deerdorf was one of the best lineman ever to play...
Bary what’s your mt Rushmore of mt Rushmore’s mines prob ravens cowboys packers and rams
49ers are better than all of those
My late father's favorite player was Larry Csonka. Always loved talking about him. I leave him on Mount Rushmore for Dolphins.
Polamalu needs to be on that Steelers mt rushmore
bro forgot night train lane
Not a Falcons fan but even 20 years after he played, Mike Vick is the first guy I think of when I think of the Falcons. Is he overrated? Sure. But he belongs on that Rushmore.
Also Deion was the first home grown star the Falcons had, and that 91 team were cultural icons even though they came up short in the postseason
No Larry Allen on the Cowboys is absolutely insane. He is the best lineman of all time
W vid
Great idea Barry. Do more reaction videos from nfl and nfl throw back. They have some wild takes sometimes
Love how you reminded us of Big STALL Ben they remind us constantly of black players transgressions thank you for being consistent
Demaryius Thomas over Manning for the Broncos. Was there longer in Denver and still played a major part in their super bowl win.
I agree
Eh, the guy had 60 total yards in that playoff run
No
Lamar Jackson over Terrell Suggs?
Easily
Lamar hate is getting old
I'm a Steelers fan the Ravens Mt Rushmore is spot on
2x MVP already he’s a hall of famer if he retires right now. Absolutely deserves to be on it over Suggs
@@thepubknight6144 right there with you, fellow Steelers fan; dude's a 2x MVP. People just need to admit he's good already and move on.
@@ThelegendTMC Not even close. One of those MVPs was the weakest MVP of the century, and the other was electric until the season went up in flames when it mattered.
Thank you for saying nice things about the Steelers Barry.
Justin Tucker for Ravens. Champ Bailey for Broncos.
💯
Kickers or any special teams player should not be on any teams mount rushmore
No kickers.
Kickers imo don't deserve to make it
@@kyle8442 Steve Atwater over Bailey
Thank you for mentioning Andre Tippett. 100 career sacks and underrated. I completely agree
You should do compilation videos for every week of all teams in the season. I wanna rewatch my Lions weekly recap but I’d have to go to every video for like a 30 second clip. Could be a decent way to have some videos coming out in the offseason while not having to actually make anything new.
You should do your own Mount Rushmore on each nba team!
No RANDY MOSS on the Vikings😂😂😂
Joke. Glad you corrected it!!!
8:19 As good as Peyton was all time you can’t give him the nod over Champ Bailey, if we are talking about what the player did for the franchise. Bailey played a lot longer with Denver and is probably the best all around defensive back in team history.
The Steelers Mount Rushmore shold definitely have Mel Blount on there, I mean they literally changed the db/wr contact rules bc of him.
Mel Blount over Ben easily
Respectful of you to have Bryce Young for all 4 Panther selections.
looks at the 49ers. how am i arguing with any of this?
Deon definately belongs on our Rushmore, you bring up Mike Vick "individual" stats but fail to do the same for Deon, if You had done your research you would know that he is the only "True Lockdown" corner in Nfl history. Other than that, list is cool.
Revis was a "true lockdown" corner
For the Steelers, I'd actually sub Franco for Ben. Everyone else is good.
Seahawks list not as cut-and-dry as Barry makes it sound, as a Seahawks fan. No love for Cortez Kennedy or Easley? Cortez over Russ is a 100% legitimate discussion
It feels wrong to not have a Legion of Boom member, but Wagner > any LOB member individually I think. Maybe some could argue Sherman over Wagner because of the tip? I don't know. Sherman also is favoring his time for 9ers over Hawks recently though. Russell, I think is close to a lock because was part of SB winning team, franchise QB, put up good numbers for years. He had stretches where he was the best QB in the league, just never put it together for a whole season to win an MVP. Cortez Kennedy was part of dark times in Hawk history, but he does have a lot of excellent accolades. Played whole career with Hawks. It is close. Largent and Jones are locks, can't see knocking either of them out.
Yeah as good as Russ was, I would’ve put Cortez or Easley above him since they’re legit hall of famers and he might miss the cut. Plus those Super Bowl runs were in large part because of the defense, all he had to do was not suck. He was a tremendous player after the defense fell apart but near the end played sort of selfishly so it’s hard to put him over hall of famers
Seahawks are one of the hardest ones. Sherman and Thomas could make compelling cases as well.
@@jessehaskins7849 nah they’ve made their choices in regards to being part of Hawks history. Sherman maybe could redeem himself but Earl can go to hell for all I care. He made his choice
Now Barry has to do a Mount Rushmore for NBA teams
Some of those will be hella depressing, I just cringe thinking about teams like the Hornets
@@forman208The Clippers would be basically Bob McAdoo from their Buffalo Braves days and three guys during their "Lob City" run.
For the Steelers I was thinking swapping maybe Lambert for Rod Woodson or dare I say… AB 👀
Polamalu needs to be in there somewhere imo
Lambert is debatable but AB is 100% not close to the Steelers Mt Rushmore, Troy-P, Woodson or Franco Harris have much better cases for it than him.
@@dafuzzbear7711 I forgot about Troy you right
@@SteelerFanInRI definitely
@@dafuzzbear7711 Statistically, AB is the greatest WR in Steelers' history and was the greatest WR of the 2010s decade in the entire league imo, so on that basis he's close, but the way his tenure there ended, coupled with how he bad-mouths the team now, completely knocks him out of contention.
