@@ethanjones2901then you swap Cris Carter out for Randy
@@ethanjones2901You're wrong. QB is the most important position.
Bobby Night Train Lane earned his spot because he won three championships with the Lions, 52, 53, 57, and when he retired in 63 he led the NFL in completions, touchdowns, and yards. As one comment read on here, a no-brainer. I do like Matthew Stafford and he has better stats but come on, 3 NFL championships and leading in many areas during that era football.
Night train lane is Richard Lane, a DB with 68 career interceptions.
Josh Allen will be on the Mount Rushmore of the bills in the future
As a Bills fan, without question.
I just hope he at least has 1 SB ring to make it a slam dunk.
I think a team's Mount Rushmore kind of implies an importance to a franchise too though, not just the 4 best players to wear the jersey. So I would keep Vick, Groza, TD, Tarkenton
@@StarvinLG exactly why I think it makes no sense to not only put Peyton Manning on the Broncos', but also having him replace arguably the most important piece to them winning their two '90s Super Bowls; no matter how short Terrell Davis' career was, he basically did everything a RB can do and he was still there longer than Manning was.
Ooh a rare reaction video from Barry! That sounds awesome!
And just like with Lilly, Lee Roy Selmon was the Bucs' first ever draft pick; dude made a HOF career for himself playing for a team that started 0-26. Ronde Barber played next to the other three guys that were originally picked to be on this; Selmon had literal guys off the street playing next to him. Switch Lynch out for Barber, not Selmon.
I’d even argue Mike Alstott was more overlooked
Agree on Selmon
Bold of you to put Tom Brady in every nfl teams Mt. Rushmore
I’ve always thought mt. Rushmore is meant for most influential 4, not necessarily the best
Thank you for mentioning Andre Tippett. 100 career sacks and underrated. I completely agree
would love to see more videos like this from you. good shit barry
22:08 tbh, he’s a 5’10 quarterback still playing at a decent level in his mid-30s. That’s pretty impressive.
As a Packer fan, I'm glad you didn't move Bart Starr off. Even if he is the worst QB of the 3 we have on our Mt. Rushmore, he is also the most clutch of the 3 of them. It really sucks that those Packers teams from the 60s are only credited with 2 Superbowl rings, they had won the NFL Championship 3 times prior to the Superbowl era, including a 3-peat that spilled into the SB era from 1965 to 1967
It's goofy and stupid to discount championships simply because they call them "Super Bowl" now, yet nearly everyone I talk to about football will openly say "Anything before the Super Bowl doesn't count". WHAT?!?😮
@@tedbundywastheultimatechad8400 honestly! It's so stupid. Like those players wanted to win just as much as players today. And they fought hard to win whatever championship they were trying to bring home. It isn't their fault that they played in an era before the superbowl was a thing.
In that case, The Lions won a Superbowl in 1957.
@@MF_DOOMer you're right. A championship is a championship.
Art Monk became the all time reception leader before the pass happy era and just as Jerry was getting warmed up.
Riggins got the SB MVP over Theismann and was the driving force of the offense. He gets more love from our fan base. Although the Hogs were the constant to the SB runs
Yeah, Theismann over Riggins is nuts
Broncos- Champ Bailey
Definitely
Agreed prime Broncos Champ is the best corner the nfl has ever seen
@@ThelegendTMC I would take him or D. Green over Deon any day

Franco Harris belongs ahead of Ben Roethlisberger for Pittsburgh, and you can not take out Bob Lilly AKA Mr. Cowboy (7 time 1st team All-Pro) and arguably the best Cowboy D lineman ever!
@@jaybird8192 Franco or Polamalu ahead of Ben.
Yeah Franco Harris definitely over Ben because he is still the Steelers' All time Leading Rusher on top of having 4 SB wins plus a SB MVP.
Don't forget the giants got more rings than your eagles have Super Bowl appearances
Uh....i don't think he looked at Lance Alworth numbers in the SIXTIES!!
As a Bucs fan finally some respect for roddy white and you showed love to m1k3
Clicked on the notification right away, pretty sure this saved my life from the devils lettuce
I think Mt Rushmore is less about top 4 best players and more about top 4 most iconic players
Thank you for saying nice things about the Steelers Barry.
Love how you reminded us of Big STALL Ben they remind us constantly of black players transgressions thank you for being consistent
Tarkenton is one of the only ones that I disagree with you on. He led Minnesota to three super bowls, won an MVP, was a 9 time pro bowler, retired as the NFLs all time leading passer, is still top 15 in passing yards and passing tds, is still the franchise’s all time leading passer, and is considered the first great duel-threat QB. Though he never won a ring and admittedly threw way too many interceptions, he is a lock on the Vikings Mount Rushmore for sure.
8:19 As good as Peyton was all time you can’t give him the nod over Champ Bailey, if we are talking about what the player did for the franchise. Bailey played a lot longer with Denver and is probably the best all around defensive back in team history.
That lance alworth and Otto graham take was horrible
Otto Graham belongs.
I don’t care team by team I just wanna know Barry’s My Rushmores for important characteristics like “Hard Working Deceptively Athletic Daughter Daters” or “Classy Respecter of Women” and of course “Stat Padder”

No RANDY MOSS on the Vikings😂😂😂

Eric Dickerson should be in the rams mount rushmore
Ironic him and Marshall Faulk should be on the Colts and Rams Mt Rushmores In my opinion
@@lukesullivan8071 nope; he was only there for 4 years; that's not enough to push off the other guys already on it, all of whom played at least a decade for the Rams. I'd even put someone like Crazy Legs Hirsch there before Dickerson, honestly.
@@Chuck_EL funny you mention that; I was going to say "that's like putting Marshall Faulk on the Colts' Mount Rushmore" as an example as to why Dickerson doesn't belong on the Rams' lol: both their tenures with those respective teams are too short and can't possibly outshine the decade+ long careers with these teams the guys already picked have.
@@SteelerFanInRIConsider Barry is ok with putting Payton on the Broncos Mt. Rushmore and he only played 4 seasons for them
Not a bad take. Not a bad take at all
Not a Falcons fan but even 20 years after he played, Mike Vick is the first guy I think of when I think of the Falcons. Is he overrated? Sure. But he belongs on that Rushmore.
Also Deion was the first home grown star the Falcons had, and that 91 team were cultural icons even though they came up short in the postseason

Jim Hart should as well.

A Steelers Mount Rushmore without Troy Polamalu is nasty work.
No Larry Allen on the Cowboys is absolutely insane. He is the best lineman of all time
Shoutout Jessie Tuggle! Falcons and Blazers legend
might be controversial but Antonio Brown should be on the Steelers Mount Rushmore

Great idea Barry. Do more reaction videos from nfl and nfl throw back. They have some wild takes sometimes
You have the greatest videos. I love how much you just don't give a crap. 🤣😊
Hey Barry, i rally enjoyed this segment GJ.
Cutting out TD for Peyton manning is crazy for the broncos when you cut Deon in ATL for only being in ATL for 5 years. Yeah he went to the Super Bowl twice but the one he won was all because of the defense
You should do compilation videos for every week of all teams in the season. I wanna rewatch my Lions weekly recap but I’d have to go to every video for like a 30 second clip. Could be a decent way to have some videos coming out in the offseason while not having to actually make anything new.
No mention of Christian McCaffrey for the Panthers is a HUGE oversight! Easily the best player they’ve ever had on their team.
He was injured half of the seasons he spent with the team and split snaps with Stewart his rookie year. I would say Sam Mills, Greg Olsen, Ryan Kalil, and Thomas Davis all deserve a spot on the Mt before he does and I love CMC.
9:00 Stafford isn’t a better player than Night Train Lane.
Or Dick LeBeau
Night Train STILL holds the NFL record for interceptions in a season with 14 in 1952. Keep in mind, a season back then only had 12 games!
@@Quartzquiz333 he did that with the Rams though.
@@lzv6990 Idk how Barry can think Stafford deserves to be on it over Bobby Layne; it's like putting Drew Bledsoe on the Pats' Mount Rushmore over Tom Brady 🤣

I love your videos Barry but i think your ideology for this video is a bit off. I'd argue this is more than just play (although you have to be great for sure) it's who made the franchise what it is. Bob Lilly and Fran Tarkenton are icons who made those franchises what they are so you have to take that into consideration. I get Ware's stats may look better but when i think mount rushmore i think impact over stats and lilly's impact on making the cowboys who they are is undeniable
As a fellow eagles fan I don’t have an issue with bob lily with the cowboys. Simple put not only was he way more decorated (11 pro bowls 7 first team all pro 2 all decade teams as well as the last 2 anniversary teams) he was also way more important to the franchise. He was their first ever draft and was their original franchise player
Polamalu needs to be on that Steelers mt rushmore
Its gotta be suggs over lamar for the ravens, until lamar wins a ring I cant accept that

No Tony Gonzalez for the falcons from both of you guys is mind boggling.
Broncos could’ve had champ Bailey, Steve Atwater, or Randy Gradishar in place of either TD or Sharpe
Riggins has that memorable TD run in the SB and another 66 yd TD run in a losing effort against the Cowboys but if you look at his career stats I think he's a little overrated. As a Redskins fan I'm not supposed to say that.
Theismann was a pretty good QB, he has to be in the Redskins Mt Rushmore.

Seahawks list not as cut-and-dry as Barry makes it sound, as a Seahawks fan. No love for Cortez Kennedy or Easley? Cortez over Russ is a 100% legitimate discussion
It feels wrong to not have a Legion of Boom member, but Wagner > any LOB member individually I think. Maybe some could argue Sherman over Wagner because of the tip? I don't know. Sherman also is favoring his time for 9ers over Hawks recently though. Russell, I think is close to a lock because was part of SB winning team, franchise QB, put up good numbers for years. He had stretches where he was the best QB in the league, just never put it together for a whole season to win an MVP. Cortez Kennedy was part of dark times in Hawk history, but he does have a lot of excellent accolades. Played whole career with Hawks. It is close. Largent and Jones are locks, can't see knocking either of them out.
Yeah as good as Russ was, I would’ve put Cortez or Easley above him since they’re legit hall of famers and he might miss the cut. Plus those Super Bowl runs were in large part because of the defense, all he had to do was not suck. He was a tremendous player after the defense fell apart but near the end played sort of selfishly so it’s hard to put him over hall of famers
Seahawks are one of the hardest ones. Sherman and Thomas could make compelling cases as well.
@@jessehaskins7849 nah they’ve made their choices in regards to being part of Hawks history. Sherman maybe could redeem himself but Earl can go to hell for all I care. He made his choice

There's definitely some players that split their careers with multiple teams and were greats at their positions.
