I've been job searching for months now which is why I'm at this video. Now it's becoming clear I have to buy a place of my own in 3-4 years. I went to go be someone Helper the other day and the guy left me with some stranger who then cussed me out for not being able to understand his directions fast enough. Now I'm back to no job and looking to find something to put me through some school or something with a ticking clock. Life is scary, don't grow up too fast. Good luck

Yes! I was usher before quarantine and i liked it its chill except when its busy and we had to work faster but i liked it better that any other position

Honestly don’t be nervous, just be your normal self. And typically I tell the customers jokes just to make there day go smoother. Just be yourself and try to make the customer happy (remember that this is a special occasion for them)
At the movie theater i work at is much more different it's just like a tiny cinema in the mall Infront of my apartment and is chill too but nah once the concession start packing having a line ,it starts to get chaotic like people be ordering weird ass fk- I was legit working alone with a long ass line without anyone helping me until the line was almost done- for the box office they get to choose the seats . 😭I seriously hate closing tho we have to clean everything and count the money-

definitely call and ask for an update on your application cuz a lot of the time u won’t get an interview unless you call in and ask. they like when ppl do that and usually they offer an interview on the phone

Anytime they don’t call back, I’d highly recommend you call back and follow up. Make sure they know that you are really interested in the position. Also, the most important thing in any interview isn’t having the most experience or being the best qualified… It’s being liked, people hire people that can see themselves working with. So focus on making a positive connection with the interviewer, always thank them for the opportunity and always follow up. One last recommendation, don’t make a career at AMC or any job that pays that low (even first level managers don’t make much there). Sure work there when you are in school but after make sure to go to a job that actually pays well. Basically, any government job will pay well, so personally I’d recommend government jobs for the pay, benefits and retirement.
