got a JPC 2.0 but was waiting to fill out the pouches until plates came in. well, yesterday my highcoms showed up so time to fill out the carrier. anyway -- so with this flap, you get 3 AR mag pouch slots internal to the placard. you could then attach different pouch setups to the outside of the placard, allowing you to have 3 AR mag slots + whatever you mount outside -- correct? i ask because i also have an MPX and AK's that i'd like to swap the front pouches out on, and this allowing me to double up would be really nice and also allow this to be an AR ready setup at all times.
No, there are nylon partitions that separate each cell. I guess if you cut them out, then you could add magazine inserts, but the cells are two tight for that without modification.

Yes, people attach other items and pouches to the outside of this placard all of the time.
