The Derelict - Aliens TC for The Ultimate Doom

The first ever total conversion mod for Doom, from way back in 1994. It's a little primitive and a little rough around the edges, but it's damn impressive for something that released only months after the game itself first came out! You can see how a licensed Aliens game from Id might have turned out in an alternate universe where they made that instead of Doom.

The floor-to-ceiling alien goo "columns" getting knocked around by explosions keep surprising me and making me laugh. Also, Flashlight++ seems mondo cool, I'll need to keep it written down.

The bursting aliens in particular seem to really shove those columns around a lot when they pop! If is pretty funny to see a decoration just sliding around the map like that
