I am Japanese and I can explain why Japanese people who wanted to see Keanu Reeves to be Spike Spiegel. Simple in the first matrix Movie interview in Japan we ask what’s your favorite anime of all time and Keanu Reeves Said Cowboy Bebop so basically he’s a big fan of Cowboy Bebop that’s why many Japanese people who’s want to see him in the show.
Seems simple enough, but it would of made more sense if this show was made 15 or 20 years ago. I mean yes Keanu Reeves can still act in high-action movies, I heard the John Wick film series is pretty popular with Japan, but he is just too old now to play Spike. Even with digital technology to make him look young again, feels weird to look at. Sometimes it looks decent, sometimes it's very awkward. Similar to an Uncanny Valley effect. Ironically, there's a tech demo called "The Matrix Awakens" featuring a demonstration and promotion of Unreal Engine 5's power to create realistic looking cities, people and vehicles. They have Keanu show this off in a digital form of himself. Watch that for example, if you can find it.
@@Mecks089 I completely agree with what you just said but I forgot to say something else is that Keanu Reeves said (I really love cowboy be-bop and from time to time I like to take the inspiration of Spike to make films) and He is like Henry Cavill he is a big fan of the video game the whicher which helped him to develop his character Geralt of Rivia for his series the whicher which sometime It's better To be handle by a fan no matter what age here we are. but you know what I think is better to have a season two of the WATANABE SENSEI anime 😁 at least he didn’t make the story before Cowboy Bebop season one. And I wish to know the real The whole story when spike worked in syndicate

@@PoptartParasol this is why many people are now waking up to see how bad western media has gotten with a lot of progressive messages being pushed forward, and not just in anime reboots but video games, cartoons, and tv shows as well. I mainly grew up playing Japanese games, primarily JRPGs, and they are some of the best in story telling ever with not a single political correctness thrown in.
Women feel entitled to not have to suffer such things, no matter how bad of a job they do. Hell, here's an example: Carmen Jorda is getting full team support in another motorsport team despite her constant failing to qualify and falling several seconds behind the slowest driver and she kept blaming the equipment. Her teammate managed to win using her car.
The lady that played Faye went full on Brie Larson. When people had criticism, her response was to attack them. And just like captain marvel, she brought the entire franchise down with her. They wanted to correct the anime's mistakes with Faye. LOL. Faye is literally one of the most memorable female characters in anime history, zero mistakes made with her. Just like many things in CBB (from characters to soundtrack), the authors took archetypes from noir and hard boiled and re-adapted them in a new brilliant way. That was genuine creativity and artistic talent, not this.

The NETFLIX adaptation made so many things wrong, as I discussed with my brother: 1. The three main characters are all at the end of their adventure, their past is either forgotten, unsuccessful, or frustrated. What we see is a group of people who already died in the past, but their bodies continued, so they simply became bounty hunters mostly due to inertia. That is why Ed leaves them at the end, because she and Ein are the only ones with actual hope for a future. The adaptation broke this theme by giving Jet a daughter, now he actually has a reason to live, whereas in the anime he only lived because he lacked a reason to die. 2. Faye in the anime IS sexualized, she is indeed drawn in that way, and she knows and uses it to her advantage. She never hides that she is hot, she is not ashamed of it, and she even works towards preserving her looks. That is not the only thing she is, she is also a skilled gunsmith, a skilled scammer, an outstanding pilot, and all of this while being both cosmopolitan and impulsive. There is NOTHING WRONG about a woman protagonist being hot just as there is nothing wrong about male protagonists also being hot. THAT IS THE POINT, it is pleasant to see that and we all know is good looking, so it makes for great pictures and scenes. In NETFLIX, they made her an average looking lady (which is honestly not a deal breaker) and also made her a big mouth-cocky-dumb and dirty mouth character. Yikes. 3. They are not trying to make character that fit the universe, they are trying the universe to fit their characters, character which follow their agendas. That is why Julia became the "strong woman that stands up against man," Green became "the trans person who is proud to be who he really is," Jet is black because "we need a black character guys, we are not racist am I right," Faye is bad spoken because "women can act as they please, because fEmInIsM," etc. In the real universe of Cowboy Bebop, trans people exist because there is a planet without women, there are people from all races around depending on the location, women are strong because they had to learn how to survive even though they are still at a physical disadvantage, etc. The universe is not compatible with their characters, so they changed the universe. 4. "Fearless." Who the hell thought it was a good idea to name Spike as fearless? 5. Vicious was a total bitch, whereas in the anime he was a skilled swordsman who jumped into battle confident and fearless (lol). They fu*ed up big time.
This is why you don't mess with perfection. Original is the Monalisa of Anime. Netflix version reminds us why "Netflix version" is a derogatory phrase. God help Gundam.

Yeah the moment they attacked the original anime was the death sentence. Your Netflix show can he garbage all it wants but never ever attack the source material. Like wtf.
When an IP is still well known decades after it ended, that means it's being held up by a rather hardcore audience, which is also rather niche. They're hardcore for a reason. Like any dedicated fanbase, they've analyzed every episode and listed every aspect of the characters. You can't just adapt it without respecting the lore and expect the built in audience to gobble it up just because you've made a new TV show with the same title. When you changed these characters, you've automatically lost the core audience you were claiming to be aiming for, and without them, who else is left to watch it?
I wouldn't say its that niche. I was in college when it was airing on Adult Swim, and even people with no previous interest in anime were in love with it. I'd say its a big reason why anime really started taking off back then.
It won't be long before tv and movie companies are putting clauses in their contracts whereby the actors need to keep their dumb opinions to themselves until well after the votes are in.

About a month ago, I saw an almost one hour video called A Painfully Honest Review of Netflix Cowboy Bebop. After watching it and others, it was a no brainer that there was no reason for Cowboy Bebop to be remade, and there definitely is not a reason for this remake to get another season. Cosplayers that saw the show once decades ago could have made a better show.
If you are talking about Mother's Basement, I naturally drift away from his videos after his shilling for Crunchy Roll and Funimation, with his video full of strawman about another UA-camr's video called "Why you should pirate anime", which is a criticism of Crunchy Roll and Funimation practically being the monopoly of Anime in the west, and their website being full of issues that never got fixed. I went to thanksgiving dinner with my family. Two of them said, and I quote "We watched the original cowboy bebop, and we think the live netflix version is the better one." I just nodded and went right back to drowning myself in alcohol poisoning.
What I hate most about these Netflix adaptations is that those involved in creating them usually have this insufferable smugness and seem to believe that their version is the better than the original.
So I'm supposed be good with them making Faye gay which totally changes her motivations, making Vicious weak which changes the entire story, with completely changing Julia the driving force behind Spike's character, and with turning the gay character trans because reasons? Well second season of Altered Carbon sucked though. And the liberties they took in the first season with the source material were also questionable. I mean Reileen *Incest is wincest* Kawahara. What a joke.
13:10 It's literally the exact opposite. Julia is an actual person in the anime. She is a ranked member of the Syndicate just like Vicious and Spike, and makes the conscious decision to protect Spike by going on the run herself. She is never portrayed as a "sexy lamp" and in fact her actions alone drive a lot of the Syndicate storyline. In the adaptation, not only is she portrayed as Vicious' prized possession for most of the series, but when the twist happens and she is revealed as an antagonist, BY HER OWN WORDS IT IS NOT THE RESULT OF HER OWN ACTIONS BUT OF SPIKE'S.

The plot of Cowboy Bepop doesn’t work without those characters. Like, how dare these characters be feminine? Julia’s and Faye’s traits didn’t make those characters bad or weak it made them interesting and relatable. Sorry y’all are threatened by a woman being soft or sexy or vulnerable or whatever. I’m so tired of the same type of of “strong independent women lesbian characters” being churned out like… it’s so boring and it’s not compelling at all. See that's what I've said too. These jackasses in Hollowwood pretty much demonize women like you. They act like you don't exist, or if you do exist, you need to NOT exist. Do they feel threatened? Do they think of you as being just a sex object with no feelings or ideas? Surely, as women, they ought to know that isn't the case. Yet, here they are, making any girl or woman with large breasts feel terrible, as if it isn't hard enough already. Notice that even with more weighty women, they still make sure they don't have large breasts. It's as if they hate them, or envy, who knows. Look at their animation designs in the West. Not a one these days looks a thing like Faye or Tifa or anyone like that. They're blobby messes, with virtually no femininity. You shouldn't have to feel like this. They need to get over themselves, and piss off. I'd also like to point out that, particularly when it comes to legs or certain physiques, the Japanese DO have bodies like that. Their legs often are that thin or shaped that way. Living among them last year, I saw exactly what anime was describing, at least for the bodies, not the faces. But Hollywood really does hate pretty much anyone not them, so they can't be bothered to research. Anyway, don't feel bad. You are you, doing your best, and these Hollywood types are the real freaks. They're the ones in school who didn't have friends. But not for any good reason. Rather, because they've always been the real ugly people, inside and out.

How many love letters start out with "I'm going to fix you?" If this is a love letter, I can't help but think of that Sailor Moon movie where Ami gets an allergic reaction everytime she receives one.
Perfect analogy- ‘they took Wendy’s chicken samich and turned it into a veggie burger’ cuz thats what they like, and thats what you’re supposed to like and an idiot if you don’t- according to them.
Sounds a lot like the trope Hollywood pushes for hetero relationships- woman enters, says "this needs a woman's touch" tells the guy to be vegan or they're through, and then both are miserable- him because he isn't who he is, and her because she's not done
One thing these guys don't understand at all is that their actions are met with equal reactions. You can't be a jerk to people then cry when they react angrily back at you. Even if the show was bad, people would empathize if they showed humility and were actually trying to make something good but failed in the process
It's all about ego with these types of people. They try so hard to gain brownie points by incorporating all these "progressive" messages that dilute the original story, and then blame everyone else when it ultimately backfires. Trust me, they will learn nothing from this.
@@TheSCBGeneral Yeah What makes it worse is their super antagonistic attitude to their audience. It's like they think insulting people will drive up sales somehow

Just like the saying "Go Woke, Go Broke" All their work, all their boasting about how great it is and look at where it lead them to, straight into the dumpster. You just can't take a beloved series from 20 years ago make changes to meet their "today's" standards and say it's a "love letter" to the original.
Unless people (read: normies) actually start canceling their Netflix subscriptions en masse literally no one of importance is going "broke" over this, I'm afraid.
I loved staying up late to watch Cowboy Bebop on Toonami when I was in HS. I thought Faye Valentine's outfit was immodest, and I would _never_ wear something like that, but I recognized that that was part of her character: she uses not just her wits and skills, but her _looks_ to get her way. After all, it's probably easier to pickpocket a guy staring at your mahoongabaloongas than trying to knock him out, esp. if you're *5'6".* As you said, she was a femme fatale, a honeypot, as it were. If the actress didn't wanna show off that much skin, I totally get it (although maybe _check out who you're gonna play_ first), but they could've made the outfit closer to the original anyway.
It's almost as if drastically changing the source material and antagonizing the fans would turn your product into a complete failure. Shocker, I know...
You know it is probably going to suck when they say, "This is a Love Letter to the fans." This should be a disclaimer at the beginning of these shows/movies.
That's how truly privileged people are. They live in a bubble where they tell YOU what to like. IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY! All Netflix proved was that just looking pretty is useless. Fay is beloved because she was strong and independent and used what she had, her looks, smarts and bravery to risk it all on a big gamble because she lost EVERYTHING. The actress didn't even take a DAY to watch the show to know what Fay is about, saying the things she had are so anti Fay it could only backfire. And she blames US for her incompetence.
And ruling all females that aren't automatons that are hyper aggressive and jerks and undesirable in any way shape or form to anyone but themselves illegal too. That's getting old. It's what happens when you go from a Katara to a Korra. Katara gets criticized for her negative traits, and tries to improve. Korra overcomes criticism by forcing others to accept her bad traits.
Daniella did such a good job she got herself fired by the real bosses, the fans. So awesome Netflix actually cancelled a show in the first season. Something I have never seen them do before. Rhagar Targarian was the guy that got molten gold poured on his head in season one of GoT.
This is exactly how I feel and what Amazon did with The Wheel of Time series. They changed character backgrounds and motivations added new scenes (then said they didn't have time to do a proper book to screen adaptation) and completely changed the lore and magic system. The had to completely woke it up and diminish all the male characters and play up the females. The also leaned heavy into the LGBT aspect. I don't have any issues with strong female characters and LGBT characters as long as it serves the story. They took an amazing story and fucked it up. Unfortunately some of the fandom is stupidly supportive of it though. It is all the more "progressive" types that love the "representation" in the show and are happy to have anything Wheel of Time ish even if it goes completely against the books and wishes of the author who didn't like people changing his stories and characters to the point of legal action for fanfiction when he was alive. Rafe Judkins (the show runner) ignored one of the authors suggestions not to change the story. It's a fucking mess.
I'm a straight woman, Faye has always been one of my favorite characters because she was that classic fem fatale which is so rarely seen in this day and age. I was absolutely outraged that they couldn't even do Faye's color palette. I could have over looked it not being a super sexy outfit if it had been made to resemble Faye's. Then there's Ed, my favorite character of the entire show, seeing her in the live action, I thought at first Netflix would make Ed a boy but what they did was just so so so much worse. The live action Cowboy Bebop looked like the entire show was filmed in the back lot of a studio at night. It's a sacrilege and disgusting disgrace that they filmed the live action and was like "yeah, this it is, this is good" when they had all the perfection in the anime that they could have followed. Just once I'd love if a show that was adapted from manga or comics or novels was just made like the source material.
As shitty as the show was....Ed was 100% just like the anime. Ed was always a cartoon character inside of a serious tv show, and the actor that did Ed pretty much nailed her. They looked exactly like Ed and totally got the comical, exuberant feeling down. Sure, Ed wasn't like that all the time, but she certainly had her moments of crazy. It's just that that kinda of character doesn't come across well in live action.
@@tonysmith9905 honestly I sort of disagree with this. while one can argue they copied her to the T with the live action, I say they didnt capture the essence of Ed, at all. I remember seeing an endearing, silly, almost irreverent character in the anime series. an innocent genius. while the actress who played her tried to get the mannerisms right. the director and whomever else was in charge, got it all wrong. all we were left was a goofy, cringy mess. I truly believe if they really cared about the characters and this was a totally different show without any agendas or progressivisms latticed throughout the show, a live action version of Ed could've definitely worked had they took the actual time and not made a cash grab.
@@robosing225 They put Ed in less than 5 minutes. Who's to say if the actor was going to be good at Ed, who's to say if what they had planned for the character was going to be what you hoped for. You literally can't determine that in that short of time. You get one quick look at the character having one of her spaz moments, which she absolutely does in the anime in the same way, and you immediately say "garbage Ed". Yeah no that's not fair. The show is garbage as fuck, but I think in that 2 mins of showing Ed they did her pretty well.
You know what the truly horrifying thing is? As E:R pointed out at the end of his review on Netflix's Death Note abomination, Steins Gate has very few sets and a small cast of characters. Given how famous it is among 2010s anime, It's inevitable someone is going to propose "adapting" it and it will undoubtedly still look like an absolute joke and it will sound even worse when they rick and morty the whole thing.
So to apply the "have a god damn ounce of compassion or sympathy." logic to another scenario: a dodgy building company slaps together dozens of houses. Three weeks after people move in the roofs all start leaking, the foundations crack, the mortar in the walls crumbles and the front and back fucking doors fall off their hinges. Obviously the company and all it's lazy, feckless arsehole employees lose their jobs. How the hell is anyone meant to feel sorry for said arseholes? If you do a spectacularly shitty job you get fired!
Imagine what the 'Avatar - The Last Airbender' Netflix series is going to be like...The creators departed that production over 'creative differences' as well. I cancelled my Netflix as the only thing on there that I watched was 90s Star Trek series.
I know...yet I can't help but have hope for it. But I feel like an abuse victim who keeps taking her trashy bf back because he promised to do better this time
It's already guaranteed to be bad. From the description of the world from the character descriptions, it's set in "modern times", and it's in a school setting. Not even joking. I put modern in quotes, because I know they're going to be creatively bankrupt with it. It's not going to be a theoretical, "What if Asian nations reached the level of now modern tech without western influence / how would their culture clothes everything look and operate?" because that would take a lot of thought, so we can be sure they won't do it. It'll almost certainly just copy paste western culture and aesthetics with vague Asian traces. So like Korra then lol.
I really love the jabs at the clear and evident sexism towards men and favoring women. I was almost thinking you weren't gonna bring it up despite its open and obvious themes in this situation. The show was ruined due to shitty western politics.
The irony is that there's plenty of themes from the series that would've meshed quite well with western politics. Jet quitting the force due to police corruption. Faye getting absolutely fucked by the medical system. The military and prison industrial complexes that use soldiers and inmates as lab experiments. Rampant poverty that forces people to seek careers as criminal lowlifes and/or bounty hunters with nihilistic sarcastic personalities, including a teenage child. The crippling repercussions of divorce. The difficulties of owning and maintaining transportation. The shabby rundown presentation of what counts as a successful business. Technological advancement and wonder in the face of destitution and a lack of opportunities. Domestic terrorism under the justification of a cause (which ever you choose is up to you because there's been several across the entire political spectrum).... There was soooooo much to draw from that's already in the anime. Which could easily been used to directly parallel with recent events and real life political discourse. But the completely out of touch writers went with the simplest, safest, and subsequently the most brain dead route in translating this series.
I still can't believe someone looked at "Netflix's Cowboy Bebop isn't supposed to be good" and not only didn't see anything wrong with it, but tried to build an argument around it too. And it got published. And yet they wonder why no one takes them seriously. When the amount of integrity and intelligence on display numbers in the negatives, they deserve every bit of shredding they receive. Constantly attacking fans, critics, and people in general day after day only highlights their insecurities over their constant failures and it isn't going to help either.
I think the original anime was better in some areas. But I didn't hate the live action remake. I like the remake more in some parts too. Like the opening in the first episode. I know what I was getting into. It wasn't going to be a shot to shot of the anime 🤷🏾♀️ I already had that mind set before I watch it.
@@Megatron_95 damn that sucks we'll never know what she thinks of the live action now I remember her saying we should lower our expectations and not expect anything from it
Wouldn’t surprise me if Netflix now started putting clauses in actors contracts to not make any snide, condescending and patronising videos attacking the prospective audience before a show airs.
They all should do it really. I'm sick of hearing celebrities spitting vitriol when the fanbase has legitimate criticisms. Often when the stars do this they pull the film down with them.

When the Fay actress said she didn't look like Fay, the obvious reaction was "Then you shouldn't be playing her" but that's not in her favour and so she went on the offensive and went to war. But when a show goes to war with the audience it never goes well...
Maybe they shouldn’t have lashed out so much to Bebop fans, and disrespected the source material like they did. Also it’s kind of funny that the actress is angry that people are laughing at the show getting canceled, when she herself laughed at other shows getting canceled.
More like when you produce shit. If they released something amazing I'm sure CB fans would have happily jumped the bandwagon. But they produce absolute garbage, so garbage it's insulting. So of course a shitty attitude just makes things far worse...
in this scenario, i think it has less to do with respecting "fandoms" and more to do with respecting artists/creators from other cultures Daniella Whatsherfuck could've been as "clap back" as she wanted, calling all Bebop fans trash or whatever, and if the show was made respectfully and was good, she would've generally gotten glossed over especially with the Western "fandoms", you can disrespect them all you want as long as you deliver when the time comes, and double especially with Western anime "fandoms" because they're all inherently unbearable and largely casual to begin with

This should be a lesson to all studios: if an IP is already iconic and people unanimously agree that it’s a classic, DONT UPDATE IT OR REBOOT IT. All we get is a soulless cash grab that misses why the original was so poignant.

The NETFLIX adaptation made so many things wrong, as I discussed with my brother:
They fu*ed up big time.
i just wanna say i really like your comment, this is so thought-out.

Preach
I wouldn't say its that niche. I was in college when it was airing on Adult Swim, and even people with no previous interest in anime were in love with it. I'd say its a big reason why anime really started taking off back then.

Just remember, Netflix really thought making a woke, live action reboot of Cowboy Bebop would bring in more viewers and make more profit than making a 3rd season of Altered Carbon
Well second season of Altered Carbon sucked though. And the liberties they took in the first season with the source material were also questionable. I mean Reileen *Incest is wincest* Kawahara. Seriously? Did they have to make her into his psycho possesive sister that clearly wants to bang him? Couldn't she have remained more like her book counterpart?
The o.g was pretty woke but it was less in your face
how was Bebop not woke in the first place?
I liked the first season of AC.. it had its problems of course but it was entertaining (and very hardcore in some places - such as the elevator scene)... The second season was terrible... Not an entertaining plot, less violent/brutal (which i liked in first season) and it didnt help that Martha Higareda butchered her face so much that it was very noticeable and jarring.
First season of AC was good.
Second season, not so much.
Daniella Pineda sincerely missed the mark. How tf are you going to claim to be in the spirit of a "strong willed woman" when you do something as absolutely asinine as this?
An actual "strong-willed woman who does what she wants" is smart about what she does and does what she wants when she KNOWS she has the upper hand. Newsflash, anyone considered "strong" irl is because they know exactly when and where to show it -- it's called being socially aware.
You can't just call yourself a "strong-willed woman" when you're at the bottom hurling terribly petty insults to the ones at the top. Come on.
"i'm a strong and independent woman" just means "i'm a spoiled whiny little bitch", it seems
If she was smart and strong she would have campaigned hard for the writers to adhere more to the original and to have her character stay the same. The scene where Faye lays down in the ruins of her old room it really hits you whenyou realize evrything and everyone she ever knew, cared for and loved was gone and she was utterly alone. It runs through from that moment on why she is insecure, untrusting, and brash.

Zero respect, nothing but mocking egotistical narcissism.
Right down to her vomit inducing smirk and vicious whimpering.
Edit: glad to see you agree with the inclusion of someone vomiting at the scene
Why couldn't they even cast her right? Are there no pretty girls in Hollywpod? Julia - from my perspective having watched the anime twice - was some absolute smoke show of a woman that made even Faye feel inferior in her presence, that girl they casted is about a 6 with what looks like a cheap wig slapped on her.
I must've missed that because I only remember her singing to an injured Spike, then having sex with him therefore cheating on Vicious.
They would know this if they ever watched the show. Which they clearly didn't lol
@@HebiHouse To be fair, a whole lot of the Syndicate's inner politics were TOLD not SHOWN. She has to know that while Faye is 2D on screen, she's written very much as a 3D character and suffers terrible demons which her attitude is a projection of as her way of staying competitive and protected in the lethal world she immerses herself in.
Her logic fails even when you remove the Faye aspect. Look at most gritty femme fatale characters in anime.

Characters like Faye or Tifa from FF7 made me feel okay about myself when I felt like I didn’t fit the mold and people always had something to say about my body like they knew me and like it was bad. They want representation but only when it suits them. It makes me mad. It makes me feel like the things that make me ME are bad and shameful. 100% agree

The actress didn't even take a DAY to watch the show to know what Fay is about, saying the things she had are so anti Fay it could only backfire. And she blames US for her incompetence.
Gotta say, I'm really gettin' sick of the modern media basically ruling Femme Fatales illegal.
They be all "Mary Sue or GTFO".
Daniella did such a good job she got herself fired by the real bosses, the fans. So awesome Netflix actually cancelled a show in the first season. Something I have never seen them do before.
Rhagar Targarian was the guy that got molten gold poured on his head in season one of GoT.
That was Viserys Targaryen.
A wise man once said “Everything woke turns to shit”
That project is gonna be a massive dumpster fire
It's near guaranteed that the show will turn out to be a catastrophic shitshow but then again, who's going to be surprised if it's the case
I know...yet I can't help but have hope for it. But I feel like an abuse victim who keeps taking her trashy bf back because he promised to do better this time
Well, if even the guys made Korra left, that only means one thing: it will be absolute garbage.
I just wanted to point out that Julia being with vicious was literally used as a joke in the original it was so ridiculous in the og anime.
Rest in peace Keiko Nobumoto. At least now they can't taint your beautiful writing talent for Cowboy Bebop with shoddy half-hearted spin offs anymore.
Cowboy Bebop author passed away ?seriously ?
@@shadowofthenorthstar989 Yeah, December 1st apparently from esophageal cancer battle. Its making its rounds now on twitter
@@shadowofthenorthstar989 sadly yes. She passed like some time after the news that Netflix canceled their version of Cowboy Bebop
She also wrote Macross Plus, , Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain, Tokyo Godfathers and Space Dandy
@@Megatron_95 damn that sucks we'll never know what she thinks of the live action now I remember her saying we should lower our expectations and not expect anything from it
"consider having an ounce of compassion or empathy"
I don't think I will.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Netflix now started putting clauses in actors contracts to not make any snide, condescending and patronising videos attacking the prospective audience before a show airs.
Netflix can spit on their fans better than the actors they hire.
They all should do it really. I'm sick of hearing celebrities spitting vitriol when the fanbase has legitimate criticisms. Often when the stars do this they pull the film down with them.
Cowboy Beflop existing means they can use it against the "fandom." We will have to suffer this show being brought up for years to come. Please spare YuYu Hakusho
YYH won't make it past the first arc. We'll be able to convince ourselves that Yusuke died when Car-kun hit him!
The bullies that use to beat is are now telling is we are all trolls and manbabbies
Danielle committed career suicide on another level. She not only destroyed her career but the show in less than a month.
Shes a fantastic example of what not to do. At all.
She's extremely attractive and competent as an actor. She didn't destroy anything. Any publicity is good publicity.
Found the simp 👆 🙂😂😂🤡
@@Xoulrath_ She'll definitely sit on your face for that brave white knighting of yours 😂
@@Xoulrath_ this has to be sarcasm.
@@Xoulrath_ All attention is good attention doesn't apply to everything. ESPECIALLY works of art. Unless you think something like Chris chan's famous drawings is considered a success.
I can’t wait for when the times inevitably change again and all these up and coming actors realize making enemies of their fan bases won’t help their careers… fake twitter clout isn’t actually going to translate to a successful or long lasting career.
As much as i h8 2 point it out. 😕😡 There r two exceptions: The Paul Brothers. 💩
Well according to them we are all just stupid and don't understand their BS.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
This is what you get when you don’t respect the fandom.
GAGAGAGAGAGA!!! I want to cut my toenails... NEVER! I am the feet UA-camr. Thanks for being a fan, dear hapy
Without respect, we must reject
More like when you produce shit. If they released something amazing I'm sure CB fans would have happily jumped the bandwagon. But they produce absolute garbage, so garbage it's insulting. So of course a shitty attitude just makes things far worse...
in this scenario, i think it has less to do with respecting "fandoms" and more to do with respecting artists/creators from other cultures
Daniella Whatsherfuck could've been as "clap back" as she wanted, calling all Bebop fans trash or whatever, and if the show was made respectfully and was good, she would've generally gotten glossed over
especially with the Western "fandoms", you can disrespect them all you want as long as you deliver when the time comes, and double especially with Western anime "fandoms" because they're all inherently unbearable and largely casual to begin with
Hollywood is like King Midas, except that everything that they touch turn into shit rather than gold.
Shill media; 'Cowboy Bebop is not supposed to be good!' When its so bad even when you pay for a positive review
thats the best compliment they can give the show!
