Now Here are some less expensive synths worth every penny! @sweetwater #sweetwater #behringer #arturia #roland #korg #yamaha www.liquidstan... www.liquidstan... collabs.shop/5...
Other companies price thier wares so high that practically nobody can afford them. Then they wonder why they are hurting financially... but don't worry, they will then complain that capitalism sucks (as they are getting bought out).
I just recently bought my first synthesizer ever and I literally was choosing between Behringer Pro 800, Behringer Model D and the Arturia MiniFreak lol (went for the Pro 800)
I read that Behringer did not team up with Devilfish to release it's TD-3-MO, and that was specifically because they did not want to pay the Devilfish guy what he wanted, and there is some reference that he wanted to provide creative input that Behringer did not want. These emails are available on his site. Still, could not resist buying a TD-3-MO, I will apologise to him when I meet him. To the best of my knowledge, Doepfer Dark Time is a sequencer with no synthesis capabilities. Yes, Boomstars are great! 😄
Never under estimate the power of the human mind to convince itself of anything it wants to believe. If it wants to rationalize why it spent so much money on a synth, it will... to the exclusion and upturned nose toward more affordable synthesizers and those that bought them. I wish the DFAM (and the rest of the sound studio) had full midi implementation, and something as simple as an on/off switch on each device. There are a lot of cool synths out there, some expensive, some affordable. Personally, I'm looking at the TEO 5!
I just bought a MatrixBrute for $999, no tax, shipped to my door. That seems like a cheap synth to me considering its capabilities. I also have an $89 Behringer TD-3 that I like a lot.
The K-2 was a lot further from the sound of the originals than the Korg RI. There is a K-2 v2 on the way … presumably, it will get a lot closer to the KARP/OGs …
Yeah Behringer, love em I have the b'Odyssey B'Monopoly and Behringer eurorack modular stuff. Quite fancy the MS-5 but no room at the moment, I wish the Edge was designed to be euroracked, I'd definitely get one of those.
My most expensive synths are my viscount legend and nord wave 2. Ive made many presets on the wave 2. That said, i completely get more affordable synths as i have these also. I don't have the budget i had back when i bought those two. I got to try an astrolab at the music store. Wish it had more knobs though. But it sounds amazing
my 2 favorite synths that i own are the korg modwave and the essence fm. I might want a circuit tracks or digitone to get live song modes happening. Probably a digitone.
@@HarmonicSonics. The STVC is awesome. Simple, yet has a mod matrix for you to do crazy things with it. The thing is that it's a machine for specific things (not that that is bad in anyway)
I'm waiting for the release of Behringer's Kobol Keyboard and the Polykobol. 2 amazing synths. The Kobol Keyboard + Expander 1 (and 2, if they decide to tackle it) are a MUST. When I make a purchase all I care about is getting bang for the buck. The most for the least possible. Very few pieces of gear to chose from given this criteria. Hydrasynth, ModX, Minifreak, Behringer Pro-8Oo (you can buy 2 for true Stereo goodness and there's a 3rd party editor for it), DeepMind 12 (it even allows for patch morphing via a pad), Mininova/UltraNova, MiniMonsta 2...
And not nearly as good of an experience. I have probably 50-100 virtual instruments. They are great, but if you like to really play the filter, envelopes, etc., it just doesn't compare to a well designed hardware synth. I do believe synths will head more in the direction of virtual instruments, but the interface experience isn't there yet. Jiggling a mouse around is such a poor replacement compared to a heavy metal knob. Once people get better key maps to midi map all popular VSTs it will be more viable. We need Midi controllers that look like a MatrixBrute and possess similar capabilities.
Legit classics like Blofeld and Bass Station 2 are still available for next to nothing. Safe bet is they're already better than the next $10K artisan pipedream.
Behringer and the minifreak steal the show!!! And they dont steal ur money 😂 💵
Preach brother

@@jaypkock good choice. There's a 3rd party user program for it. Makes things easier.
@@jaypkock all great choices brother!! Get the minifreak as your second synth

Man loving the TEo5 to
Absolute truth. People will go to ridiculous lenghts of mental gymastics to reason their choices.
Yeah man, I think the TEO 5 is my next purchase too.
Add me to that list. TEO-5 is going to be a hit for Sequential.

You're contemplating a Juno-X? Then I'm in with a new sub 🙌
I have the Edge and Crave, would never have gear this nice if not for Behringer. For all I care, Uli is awesome.

Genrally, people who actually make and release music are too busy to argue about synth brands in YT comments. Just saying.
I was going for the Hydrasynth Deluxe, but I prefer the 49 note version size (and price)

I'm interested to hear or try the behringer vs mini. And the still unreleased proton
@@HarmonicSonics. So much to choose from, so little cash

The Solina is bang on. Still prefer the Waldorf STVC tho... 600 bucks, but gives you more
I almost went for the stvc. Man its vocoder sounds really good. I wanted cross mod though and audio inputs and so I went cheap for a korg R3

@@jumpingman8160oh yeah. from demos I heard stvc is awesome. Didn't know it had that kind of mod matrix ... maybe I should've gotten one ⛽
I’d love to see examples of the synths you have that’d be cool

Yeah man, the pro 800 is very cool like you said put two of those bad boys together and you get some classic stereo analog sound
softsynths with a MIDI controller are a much better deal.
My last Behringer was the 2600. I have the Pro1 , TD3 and 2600. Im synth up. MS5 is so nice though. Self control.

Thanks, man you inspired it

Yeah, see that’s how I feel!
Thinking about one of those red behringer, you have a sweet water Amazon or reverb link?
You mean the Behringer MS -1?
The UB Xa is actually 16 voice not 6 voice as you stated
I recently picked up a Behringer MS-1 and the build quality was a lot better than i thought it would be. I would definitely recommend it.
What a shirt man!!!
Dude... make me a Black T-Shirt with the Diesel logo but with keys instead of the Mohawk 😊
I forgot to put the link in the description for the -- father I have synth T-shirt
