Crowd are actually a disgrace when mvg is throwing. How can u not be put off with that sorry but that really is terrible. Looks worse on here. What ever happened to giving the guys a bit of respect and if there throwing for the match don't shout out and put them off. Seen it with gerwyn against Smith as well in 22' and I really don't like it. Love the atmosphere but just let the guys throw darts. When u watch a match from years ago the crowds were so thoughtful and actually waited until the 3rd dart was thrown before they cheered or jeered. Really wasnt fair at all. Imo that cost mvg the match. Crowd were disgraceful and u would only think that was good if u were a cross fan. Darts or mvg fans that I know don't like that. Even tried doing with Wrighty until he shut them all up beating 3 English guys along the way and got boos throughout but they got silenced in the end. I just felt sorry for Micheal Smith coz it made me want him to lose. I really wanted him to win for his 1st major but the crowd were so bad I changed mid way. Even smith didn't like the way the crowd were and even said so after the price match. Really need to have some sort of order coz at the end of the day it's not a football match its a darts match. I wouldn't care about pleasing a crowd I would just want to earn money to food on the table for my family and just feels some guys get that taken from them at times with the crowd on there backs before the match ever starts. So many guys have had it but doing it in such a big match at the ally pally on match darts no less is disgusting. Rant over 😂
