  • NEW Nudestix Nudescreen Daily Mineral Veil SPF30 100% mineral sunscreen review. This moisturizing mineral sunscreen surprised me. This sunscreen comes in 3 colors and has NO white cast so is great for a variety of skin tones. Have you tried it?

Yay! Thanks for the review! I have to say I just started using the beekman 1802 spf primer and it is now my absolute favorite! Liquid, natural-matte finish, no cast, and soooo good!!

You know I love a natural to matte finish on my sunscreen! I’ll look into the Beekman. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m actually wearing this nudestix sunscreen again today. I think I really really like it even though it’s not matte. 🙀

I do wish it was more than SPF 30. But I have very dry skin so it might be worth it. Is it waterproof...you may have said. I'll rewatch the beginning.
On another note could you share how you do your hair? Your air dry hair was super cute. How do you get the look you have in your final thoughts? I like that it is straight and smooth but not stick straight. We have similar hair textures. You probably have a little more hair!

Not waterproof unfortunately. Thanks for saying kind words about my air dried hair. I used to have stick straight hair but after this second child it has become super wavy with curls on the underneath layers. 🤦‍♀️ my hair in my final thoughts I’ve just used a round brush to blow dry it straight after washing. Then because my hair is so thick, I use my flat iron to just create little bends on the top layer of my hair…almost curls but not quite. If it’s a very humid day, I’ll flat iron the underneath layers of my hair before adding the bend at the top. Throughout the day those little bends are victims of gravity but I end up with a nice tosseld hairstyle. If I can think how to add this in a video I will. I have thin strands of hair but so much if it. When I see my hair stylist, I always ask her to thin it out a bit.

@@MelanomaMom my hair is much thinner than yours. But also the under layer is curly after my one and only child and my top layer is pretty straight which is so annoying! My aides are straight. So I look like a puppy dog with ha going ears! Lol. I'm very close to menopause so I'm wondering if it will change again then🤷

It’s so crazy how much hair changes with hormones. I find hair and hair styling challenging. I always tell my hair stylist “just blend in my grays and make me look pretty and in a current style”. 😂

It's a good one for sure. I ended up passing it on to my sister and she loves it. I saw they released it in new shades which is fantastic for those with darker skin tones.

Did the one you used have any tint? On the site it says no tint. Maybe I'll remember this one for winter next year. Why is finding a good sunscreen so hard?
I'm currently looking for one, my son (8) will use in his own at camp.and school. At home or pool days I use a mineral on his face but for school he doesn't want white. But he won't put it around his eyes if it burns! Sounds Impossible!

No tint on my skin tone although I wouldn’t recommend it for wearing on its own because it is still sticky. In my opinion it works great as a primer under makeup but I won’t be using it by itself. This would make a great video topic for me: “sunscreens with no white cast that kids will wear and that don’t burn/irritate eyes ”. Let me work on this.

We probably also need it to be waterproof.

Sonja! I thought of you and your son when testing out this roll on sun screen. Not sure of his skin tone but this one might be worth a look: NEW! Sun Bum Mineral Sunscreen | It ROLLS ON Your FACE & BODY

@@MelanomaMom yes I thought about the it also. Then was afraid he would never put enough on..he would do one swipe and call it good. He is not as invested in this sunscreen use as I am🤣

Oh I hear you. I have a 14 year old son. He has sunscreen in his bathroom. We have a bucket of sunscreen by the front door. I ask him every morning if he put on sunscreen and I’m 100% positive he lies to me every morning. 🤦‍♀️ hopefully something of what we teach our kids about sun safety will sink into their brains and habits at some point. At least you are starting good habits with him at a young age. 🤗
