The applause was for the effect of Teen Fiona exiting while holding her note and Adult Fiona entering holding the same note and the vocals were so well matched that you couldn't tell when they switched. It really made the perfect illusion that years of time had just passed during those few seconds. But indeed, all three of the actors deserved the applause. They were amazingly talented.
