Aquarius! ❤ EVERYTHING YOU SAID.. I love me some colour, but I've moved from colours to metallics of every kind. really, I need to stop collecting! And I've been trying to find my fit in design, but nothing really fits like a glove. This makes total sense!..

This was a fun approach to decor. I resonate with the Scorpio description and images, however my home doesn’t have dark moody rooms. My sun and rising sign is Scorpio 😳 with a moon in Cancer. A lot of water, I know. LOL! Hubby is a Gemini with Aries rising, and Taurus moon. We agree on contemporary decor mixed with lots of books and art, with pops of color. Our home has to feel comfortable but sophisticated. And I love candles!
Oh wow that is! A lot of feelings and emotions. I would imagine that regardless of how your home looks, it must feel very safe, secure and aesthetically beautiful. The sun is how we present ourselves, the rising is how people see us, and the moon expresses our emotional needs. I imagine Cancer and Taurus moons would have a lovely home--very home focused and lovely to be in. LOL I sound like I know what I'm talking about but really once I understood those placements it all feel into place and made sense.
I’m a virgo, but I’m completely opposite of all the things that you described for virgo. Great responses everyone! I would definitely check out the moon and rising to get some answers. LOL now we all must know about your other placements!
I am a new subscriber watching your videos now. I just wanted you to know how different and fun and helpful this video is to your community, Thank you!
This has me thinking of how the zodiac signs apply to gardening/landscaping design. What a great video and I’m not even into this stuff. I’m an Aquarius and I don’t resonate with the futuristic stuff but I’m on the cusp of Pisces and I wonder if that affects it at all.
I think being on the cusp can impact that--but also futuristic when it comes to looking beyond trends. Aquarians do not follow other people's trends/styles. Also the moon and the rising sign play a big role in this too. PS I love your idea about garden design--I think you have a point actually. I'm just thinking about our garden that my husband planted. If it was up to me it would look different (that's his domain though). I love white flowers so I would have a lot of green with white natural flowers everywhere. Very different from Jerry!
OMG I felt like someone was speaking to my soul. I'm a Sagittarius and you described my taste and style so clearly. Up till now, I've been struggling with my eclectic style, like 'why can't I be more cohesive'. But cohesive can feel a bit boring to me. I love it in other people's houses and even admire it, but not mine. I'm going through a cluttery stage though, so I am focusing on decluttering and only keeping things I truly love. I go from wanting extreme minimalism to extreme eclectic. Not to mention a love of the industrial and a bit of chique and some Middle Eastern touches...hurts my head at times. And THANK YOU for the amazing Pinterest Boards you put together. I have no idea where you find those gorgeous styles.
You’re welcome! Ohmygosh I spend hours combing through Pinterest to find them 😂 Fortunately I enjoy it ❤️ thank you for noticing! Don’t worry you’ll move through the clutter. Little by little or big steps-whatever suits you. Also regarding cohesive-you can still make a space eclectic, interesting and fun while achieving cohesiveness. Study the pics that attract you and find the patterns/connections between things. You can use that as direction to help guide and inspire you along the way. I too get bored of it’s too generic (for lack of better word) and need to be interested in the objects around me. So I understand that needed for sure!
I am Aquarius with Moon in Scorpio. I relate to the Unique, Futuristic, and Individualistic design approach you mentioned. I always try to throw in some element of surprise or whimsy into my decor. I hate the idea of trendy popular design, and I definitely want to infuse elements of our own personalities into our decor. My husband is Pisces. He's so into galaxy and fantasy lol. Right on the money! Really enjoyed this presentation! Such great "permission" of sorts to embrace who we are through our home design and decor. Will be reviewing this one again as well to create our space. Also, I'm realizing I like a structured aesthetic look for anchor items, but I need a softer, wavy or flowing aesthetic for accent and decor items. An inspirational atmosphere layered on a strong supportive base, if that makes sense. 🤔
Yes it does make sense-you got it and it sounds beautiful!!! What I also like about that is it gives you the ability to evolve by updating those flowing, less structured pieces when you need change. This was fun, right?! I loved taking a deeper dive. You’re right, it’s also a wonderful affirmation to move forward with the styles that we feel drawn too. Those mixes are so key and important for layering as well. Thank you so much for watching, Tascha 😘 PS I can totally see that in you. I see you feeling good at home and definitely going your own way.
So good! I'm Taurus sun and Cancer moon and rising and this was absolutely spot on! Also, I love all of the inspo pics you choose. Going straight to your pinterest! xx
Wonderful video. Probably the only time I thought about how astrology connects to decor. It's very odd but I'm a cusp Leo (Aug 22) but I relate much more to being a Virgo. I've never felt like a Leo. In terms of my home decor, I prefer earthy and anything in my home must be practical and serve a purpose. I am not flashy at all. My moon is Virgo and my rising is Scorpio.
Thanks so much babe--I am really happy you liked it! Your moon is in Virgo so that makes sense to me because this is your inner world, as in how you want to be supported (including your home) also being on the cusp. I'm very close to the cusp of Virgo but on the Libra side so I definitely feel those qualities. Like you, I never really felt so much like my sun sign (a Libra in the most generic sense) but do find that mentally I am very much like one with the need to have a peaceful home. I also like things in their place (very Virgo) and fortunately, no excess clutter--my Taurus husband does not like clutter at all!
I totally agree with you. This is a misconception about Leo’s that drives me nuts. I’m a Leo and I hate anything thats flashy, glamorous and luxurious. I gravitate more so to the earthy and understated decor.
You may have Leo traits in other ways, such as loyalty (I love this one, my dad is Leo) but in terms of your style, you pick up other astrological placements. My dad wasn’t flash and glam, but he does like nice, well made, quality things!
This was fun, beautiful.🌠 Thank you for coming at interior design from so many interesting angles! I agree about Libra - I always try to make even utilitarian things/areas look as best they can. If I venture into colours and layers, it's for items I can easily put away if I need a visual rest (or change my mind - indecisive aaaa!). Simon's sign is Scorpio, and his taste is definitely on the dark and moody side - his home office has all dark furniture, and he even blocks out most of the light to create a cave effect. Have a lovely day xx
Ha! I like to keep it interesting on this channel for sure ❤ This double Libra mind (sun and rising) is forever trying to understand and conceptualize new ways of thinking about things. So true on the indecisiveness and also wanting the ability to change things up. Wow I love that Scorpio vibe (I have Venus in Scorpio--which I wonder if that would be a good sign to base our bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms on--anything related to beauty and adornment. Could be another video!)
My sun sign is Pisces-Aries cusp. My favourite colour is red The Aries fire is translated to my bedroom Very Cherry painted accent wall (deep red, blue undertone). I do have a copper pendant light over my dining table and colourful abstract wall art on my entrance wall. The Pisces part of me is in the blues in my home. Deep iris blue carpeted bedrooms and denim blue drapes in my bedroom. My sofas are denim blue leather too. I have sentimental items throughout my home. My moon is in Virgo. My furniture has clean lines along Scandi design. I have a home for everything. My rising sign is Capricorn. I have mixed wood tones throughout my home and a light beige textured rug in my lounge. I have plants to bring in the green as well as floral wall art which is traditional. My 3 adjectives to describe the look and feel of my home are: eclectic, cosy and colourful. I think it encapsulates my Pisces/Water, Aries/ Fire, Virgo and Capricorn/ Earth elements.
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio My son's sun sign is Cancer with Scorpio rising. His bedroom is painted in deep blue with wall art of the moon phases and 🦀 crabs. He used to call his bedroom the 'Crab's lair'.
I loved this and I've been bing watching your videos. I'm a Brooklyn Heights neighbor, hi! I'm a Virgo sun and this is spot on. Neutrals with a pop of muted color (usually mustard). Now here's the thing. My office space is dark and moody, think Farrow and Ball darks. After watching this video I took a look at my chart and scorpio is in my 6 house of work. LOL go figure! I would be awesome for you to do a video on home office spaces and work nooks.
Ohmygosh! Hello neighbor!! I love Brooklyn Heights-and home offices too. (Mine needs some love that’s for sure.) Heck yeah for exploring your chart further and how amazing is that??? What a cool discovery about Scorpio 🖤 This would be a fun tie in for the home office too! I have Venus in Scorpio and so do love a dark, moody room. Since the video I’ve been wondering if our Venus placement could be a good indicator on how we should design our bedrooms. You’ve got my head spinning with fun ideas now 😂😂😂
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio That would be so awesome! My Venus is in virgo with sun same degree in 4th house . Makes sense that I went with brightest white coastal (blue chambray drapes) modern minimalist in my bedroom. Living room has lots of woods, off whites, tans, leather, greenery and soon a new green couch. Very banana republic ish.
@@JB-yt7uu Oooooooh! Love the chambray drapes!! Your living room sounds lovely! We need plants in your house but we’re not there during the week. So they’re outside. We are both plant lovers. They add a great feeling to a room.
I feel like from all groups of signs, earth ones and in this kind of general details theres no need to separate us. Earth is strong and we are similar. Again in general details. 😊
I definitely find myself attracted to a lot of these styles-especially the earth signs. Warm woods, artwork and plants are three od my favorite things!
I'm a Capricorn, and my husband is a Libra, and our philosophy of space is in harmony. Although, I really appreciate vintage and traditional style, whereas he likes more clean lines, non patterns like mcm/modern pieces.
I can see that! I’m the same (Libra). I love clean lines and modern (as in this time period in design), so more scaled down minimal, clean design-it’s calming. Then I have my Taurus husband (earth-just like you!) who likes vintage stuff with some history, with a story. I have a feeling your home and ours might have a similar feeling! You tell me babe 😉 We both for that earth and air thing going. As a Capricorn I have no doubt you are no stranger to hard work and so home should be a place the recharges your batteries. I think air and earth complement each other really well at home. There are things we can learn from each other for sure.
YES I love this idea! I used brand archetypes once in a way that they were not initially design to be used (a coaching/mentorship program) and had a lot of fun with it. I like the idea of thinking of home style this way, too! Thanks for the great suggestion 🤗
I’m a cancer and although I do resonate with cancer’s description, I found myself attracted to taurus’s description of a home 😭 i’m just gonna have to incorporate the 2 lol. Sagittarius is spot on (my moon sign)
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio my rising is libra haha but i love literally every description tbh 😝 i absolutely love your videos! so thankful for the creativity boost🤍
Libra and Taurus are ruled by Venus (my husband is Taurus). He and I have very similar goals and values with our home ❤️ So it makes sense to me! So happy you enjoyed the video babe 🤗😘
Thank you Christina, this was so interesting. I found what you described for my sign (Scorpio) was very true, very spot on, actually. Also for some of the other family members in my tribe (Yes- dreamy Pisces!). However, my husband's sign (Aquarius)- was not at all like him. He does not like technology in the home (little, to none) and no metallic or modern elements as a driving force for design. In fact he likes antiques as much as I do- with some contemporary pieces. He is very much an intellectual- and that part was true. We have both collected a vast library over the years. Actually, I find the Gemini descriptions suited him more. Of course, there are always exceptions to these things...and his rising sign is Gemini, so I suppose that could explain things :).
Okay, I am Leo Moon…so I do like touches of gold and I also like the luxurious fabrics. I’ve looked around my home and I do seem to incorporate most of the noted adjectives from each of my sun moon and rising in my room designs.
You’re doing great babe! Sounds like you’re seeing elements of each of your signs in your home ❤️ I found this to be such a fun video!! I loved hearing about everyone’s signs and finding those elements in their personal style at home 🥰 Also just a fun perspective shift to look through the lens of these personality and aesthetic traits ✨✨✨
I’m an Aries Sun, with a Taurus rising and Aquarius moon who was heavily influenced by my Sagittarius mother when it came to decorating. Your assessment was absolutely correct!
Awesome Audrey! I love your combo ❤️ Do you feel you incorporate more Sagittarius because of your mom’s influence? I imagine you could some up with an amazing style of your own with these signs and that Sag exposure to the worldly influence.
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio yes I do! I’ve recently updated my den and it’s totally her style eclectic with retro touches (I call it my urban hang suite/disco room). She’s 93 and in a nursing home and I know she would sit down there opposed to the upstairs which is more neutral and calm. Im going to take pictures and show them to her.
This was so funny because it was spot on! My cap moon loves classic elegant pieces, while my Aries sun needs pops of color, and my Sag rising needs eclectic and diverse cultural pieces. I do have a lot of candles and am starting to collect various candle holders 😂
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio actually looking around my space the warmer the colors the better! My bestie is a Libra and balance and welcoming spaces no matter what her design style of the moment is a consistent theme. She is also went to school for architecture and design.
@@toyaJM Libras and Aries are typically great friends. I love them. Both signs have a lot to teach/learn from each other-i.e. their influence on is each is so good 😘😘
You should find out your rising and moon signs. That really helped me. I'm a Libra rising and Libra sun but Sagittarius moon. The moon sign in your inner world--like what you feel like and your needs. I'm so much more adventurous and willing to rough it than any Libra I know (lol) which would explain it now that I understand my moon sign!
I'm Virgo with Virgo rising, and my moon is in Taurus. I LOVED your examples of Virgo and Taurus rooms, and have been drawn to earth tone palettes in my homes my entire adult life. (I don't wear earth tones though, they look terrible on me!) 😊 I love a pop.of colour and really rich art is rusts and mossy greens, cognac, etc. But I also love a wall of books. Thankfully my Taurus husbands and I have similar tastes too! Question for you, do you consider yourself as a “what you see is what you get” kind of person?
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio I appreciate the encouragement regarding the decluttering. Good reminder to distinguish between cohesive and generic!!!
@@cindymoussi6588 You can do this 🤗
I agree with the adjectives for Libra. We definitely can create a vibe❤
Yes Libra sister ♎️♎️ so attuned to spaces for sure!!!
Hola Bella, you nailed Virgo. I'm also OCD times 100!!!
Thanks for the informative video. God bless you always.
Thank you lovely!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video! XOXOXCD
I’m a Libra rising m, Scorpio moon and rising Taurus. It’s really me in interior design ❤
Ahhh love your combo babe! PS I have Scorpio in Venus ❤️ so this works into my designs a lot!
Thank you so much for watching, Tascha 😘
PS I can totally see that in you. I see you feeling good at home and definitely going your own way.
I had a great time and learned a lot. Thanks for sharing those helpful resources with me.
Glad you enjoyed it and as always, it's my pleasure. I had a lot of fun with this one! 😘
So good! I'm Taurus sun and Cancer moon and rising and this was absolutely spot on! Also, I love all of the inspo pics you choose. Going straight to your pinterest! xx
Oh wow babe! Home must be super important to you then. I’m sure your place is beautiful and cozy too! 🤗
ABSOLUTELY Maria! You nailed it babe! I love visualizing your home. Sounds lovely!
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio My son's sun sign is Cancer with Scorpio rising. His bedroom is painted in deep blue with wall art of the moon phases and 🦀 crabs. He used to call his bedroom the 'Crab's lair'.
@@mariastathopoulos744 oooh I love that! A place to restore and refresh-tucked away from the outside world.
I am an Aquarius but resonate with the EARTH and WATER shared objectives, but this was fun and interesting!!!
Babe we gotta find out your Moon and Rising signs. I'm so curious! You just might have one of those Earth and Water signs in there too!
You tell me babe 😉
We both for that earth and air thing going. As a Capricorn I have no doubt you are no stranger to hard work and so home should be a place the recharges your batteries. I think air and earth complement each other really well at home. There are things we can learn from each other for sure.
I’ve read that male Libras are almost opposite of female Libras
@@FivetimesthreeIntersting! In what way specifically? I’m so curious!
This was really fun. Can you do this same format with brand archetypes? I think the results will align with the Astro groupings.

Ooooh check your rising sign too babe! Regardless go where your heart pulls you!
Oh yes that rising sign is a big part of what we like--I'm curious about is rising sign now! I'm happy you enjoyed the video babe! 😘
As a virgo,i identify with all the details from all earth signs that you mentioned.
Hi Bárbara! I'm so pleased to hear that! Thank you so much for watching and chiming in here 😘
Virgo Sun Leo Moon Cancer Rising. I totally identified with Capricorn rooms. 😂❤
However….all the talk about organized and details and efficiency (my word) is dead on.
Also was drawn to Cancer rooms…Cancer rising.
Okay, I am Leo Moon…so I do like touches of gold and I also like the luxurious fabrics. I’ve looked around my home and I do seem to incorporate most of the noted adjectives from each of my sun moon and rising in my room designs.
You’re doing great babe! Sounds like you’re seeing elements of each of your signs in your home ❤️
I found this to be such a fun video!! I loved hearing about everyone’s signs and finding those elements in their personal style at home 🥰
Also just a fun perspective shift to look through the lens of these personality and aesthetic traits ✨✨✨

Hahahahahahahahaha I love it babe!!! 😘 I was thinking of you being Aries when I was making the video and I was like “Oh yes!” Truth!!!

I'm Sagittarius being a little eclectic, but I feel more like a Scorpio who loves dark and moody.
I will definitely check on that. Thank you!!
@@cl4753 Keep me posted! 😘
I'm Virgo with Virgo rising, and my moon is in Taurus. I LOVED your examples of Virgo and Taurus rooms, and have been drawn to earth tone palettes in my homes my entire adult life. (I don't wear earth tones though, they look terrible on me!) 😊
I love a pop.of colour and really rich art is rusts and mossy greens, cognac, etc. But I also love a wall of books.
I've wondered before - would you start a Pinterest? I always want to save your examples, but I can only do screenshots.
Hope you're having a beautiful day.
Yes babe! I leave a Pinterest link is in the description for most of my videos 😘 For this video I have the boards broken up per element. Hope that helps you!
Also I love your “loves” too! Thankfully my Taurus husbands and I have similar tastes too!
Question for you, do you consider yourself as a “what you see is what you get” kind of person? I ask because you have double Virgo: rising and sun. I’m Libra sun and rising and I feel that way. I’m curious if other people with this pattern might be perceived this way.
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio I am 100% a "What you see is what you get" person, but had no idea it was related to my chart!
