Washed up Giant Pacific Octopus on Fox Island

Thanks to Kate of Fox Island for alerting us to this GPO that washed up March 7, 2024. We were able to observe the hectocotylus and determine this is a male that likely died after mating. #pugetsound #salishsea #octopus
