It's difficult watching this now with Chrissy gone but not forgotten ❤️ we all love you Chrissy and you will be missed , but what a legend Steve is 👍🏻👍🏻💯💯
I love listening the Steve's stories. He has so many. I came out of seeing his mad tour at the TT with sore cheeks and sides from laughing so much. Great interview.
Always dubbed as Barry’s teammate, usually by himself but wow, what a career, what a story, what a character. I keep thinking the latest pod is the best but they all seem to be brilliant. Please, keep up the great work. Now let’s see where his closest tour date is…
Brilliant interview I always looked forward to watch British super bikes and world super bikes on the tv with Steve Parrish and Wally Cox doing the commentary they were the best ever . It's a pity they don't do it these days as some of the new ones just keep waffling on which is so enjoying ! Thank you Steve .😎👍
Always great to hear Stavros being interviewed. Thanks to him and all the other riders that became my hero's many years ago I jumped on a motorbike and opened my eyes to a great life on two wheels.
In addition to my last comment while Steve and Wally were doing the commentary between each race there were adds and Barry sheen was promoting MSN brilliant it was good to see him , I had the pleasure to see Barry race the old bikes after the moto gp at Donington many years ago brilliant! 👍
Great work lads, aren't Steve's memories and hijinks from another world? The racers from the earlier years really can tell some cracking yarns. One of the best👍
Congrats on a great show lads! "Stavros" is as entertaining as always! Hehehe. I think if your bucket list is to have fun doing things you love then Steve's list must be very long and everything ticked off! Hats off to him. A great laugh from start to finish!
Great podcast lads.Listening to Parrish is always entertaining & it's good to hear from someone who raced at the highest level back in the day.Keep up the good work!!
Ok this is the last comment I have over ten years of recordings and over this lock down the best thing that's come out of this situation is that I've been watching all of them , what a wonderful way to spend the last year perfect, may the racing continue! P.S I started riding bikes in 1962 my first bike was a 1962 aerial golden arrow and continue to ride bikes today. Once I popped into town to buy a Rolex submariner watch as diving was part hobby and part of my job as my mate and I dived evenings and weekends in the river Thames which was from the topside of Oxford down to Richmond . this was in 1972 . On my way to the jewellers I called in to see a friend of mine who owned a motorcycle shop and seeing a new model I asked him do you have a brochure of this bike ? Saying I can give you a good deal on that . So that's how I went back home with a new motorcycle and no watch ! But I managed to get the watch a couple of weeks later ! Thanks once more . good luck for coming season . 👍
Brilliant lads that was mint! love these stories Steve is a living legend too, i feel privileged to have shared over an hour of real true stories of life of the best in the business -Thanks and well done :-)
Speaking of HATS The video of Dom and the Cowton team at Olivers Mount is fantastic and that’s a top paint job on ya helmet Dom 👍 Excellent interview chaps as usual
I love how you guys always get your guests to plug themselves I don’t hear many other people encouraging that, another great interview, I think Ben Wilson would be a interesting person to interview
Stavros is a legend. Had his audio book saved in my phone for ages now but not had chance to listen it yet......i think it will definitely have to be next.
Never realised Steve was such a character. Gonna have to buy his book now. Also it was a pleasure meeting Chrissy at Olivers Mount. Didn't get to meet Dom while I was wondering around the Paddock though
I could imagine Murray Walker saying " and look at that !" As he set off on those water skis with his kecks around his ankles. Just have Stavros on every week and I'll be happy. Great stuff fellas !
Hope this is a good little 'in' on the TV coverage Dom at the Classic TT and road racing in general, getting a good chat with Stavros. He has lived the dream, quality pod yet again boys
Wow 😳 that was an absolute blast 💥 great interview guys . As always relaxed informative and great fun, I actually remember seeing that Parish plate on a very choice blue car 🚙 I think at Brands in the paddock . Top of the class again cheers : D
Well done you guys, I am the same age as Steve, and have been a massive fan all those years. If you see him again, ask him if he had fun with the electric shock playing cards I gave him at ally pally bike show in 1985....
1976 every 16 year old wanted a yamaha or suzuki or puch maxi ,then a 250 cc as a provisional licence was the only thing you needed ,and barry sheene was world champion
me and 5 mates waited behind at brands hatch outside the race direction caravan for barry sheene ,after a while he coame out to talk to us,he stayed for about 15 mins answering our daft questions and made us feel great,i will never forget that,my best ever racing moment,he was class and he grew up ten mins from us in holborn,he was the first real super star
When talking about racing deaths in the 70's, the information given that Mark Salle died when he hit 'sleepers' at the bottom of Paddock hill brands according to Steve Parrish is incorrect. I witnessed the incident and Mark died when he was hit 'on the track by another rider after crashing, he was still in the middle of the track. Very sad loss in a practice session of a very talented rider,

Always dubbed as Barry’s teammate, usually by himself but wow, what a career, what a story, what a character. I keep thinking the latest pod is the best but they all seem to be brilliant. Please, keep up the great work. Now let’s see where his closest tour date is…
