I love Lucy! I think she is entertaining God and Angels in heaven now. I can't get enough of Lucy. She is genius and funny. I like this particular show. I watched it several times. I saved it to my playlist too. Thanks to UA-cam for providing Lucy's show.
I recall when I first saw this episode. I loved TEF’s baritone and especially when he sang gospel. Lucy dancing at her age in this episode is amazing.you cannot watch this and not smile .RIP TEF and Lucy!
“Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” and “The Unsinkable Molly Brown Combined”. Such a fun and light-hearted show filled with real comedic talent. Today’s programming can’t hold a candle to this.
LOVE Carole Cook! She is a riot in anything she guest stars in... Lucille Ball actually discovered her and Lucy was her maid of honor in her wedding to actor & writer Tom Troupe. She was born Mildred Frances Cook in 1924 in Abilene, Texas, one of four children born to Leland Preston (L.P.) Cook, Sr., and his wife, Maudine. She later became a protégé of actress and comedian Lucille Ball, who gave the ingenue her stage name of "Carole", for Ball's friend Carole Lombard. Ball reportedly told Cook, "you have the same healthy disrespect for everything in general". Cook appeared regularly on The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy. Ball was matron of honor at Cook's wedding in 1964 to actor Tom Troupe, to whom she remains married; the couple has no children.[citation needed] Cook starred in the animated Disney film "Home on the Range", voicing Pearl Gesner. She appeared in such feature films as "The Incredible Mr. Limpet", "Sixteen Candles", "Grandview, U.S.A.", "American Gigolo", "Summer Lovers", and "Palm Springs Weekend". She made guest appearances on such television shows as The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, Darkroom, Knight Rider, Emergency!, Magnum, P.I., McMillan and Wife, Murder, She Wrote, Dynasty, Charlie's Angels, and Grey's Anatomy. In addition to her film and television work, Cook appeared in the original Broadway productions of 42nd Street and Romantic Comedy and was the second actress (after Carol Channing) to star as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly!
Thank you for sharing facts about Carole Cook. I recall the episodes when she was on Murder She Wrote. Although the show was more drama than comedy, she brought a comitic twist to the characters portrayed.
Acres of it! LMAO. We had to do square dancing as a part of our required gym class, not only was it fun, but my first love was my partner. We had to go to school on a few Saturdays to make up for the extra snow days and all the guys went fishing instead and we had to teach them what we learned in 5 minutes to keep them from having to take a bad grade for skipping lol.
Actors and actresses back then were called Artists becaase.. well!! You seen it all folks!! 👋🏻🤠 Honest.. they literally performed roles.. they danced, rode and roped and crooned. As for todays 'Artists' they'd win an Oscar for crying a few tears. Just jokin' here fellas. No hard feelings 'Artists'. 🍿
Well, That Was Kinda FUN Towards The End 17:27 It Reminds Me Of This Show Called.......... HEE HAW & It Also Reminds Me Of............. HILLBILLIES!................... Lucy Kinda Looks Like A Hillbillie Dressed Like That 17:03................. P.s & Thanks For Uploading This Video PizzaFlix :)............................
Ernest Ford grew up with my cousin in Tennessee nicest down home man you ever want to meet and when the were young his older brother stole my cousin tricycle instead getting it back his parents just bought him another one because Ernest family was poor.
It's a pity neither of Lucy's children inherited her Irish good looks and yet she threw them in show biz at the cost of a school education ,which is so important for any child
It is hilarious only if one hasn't seen (or forgotten) the original Idea of Lucy's Tennesee look ua-cam.com/video/p_SdJirqOEE/v-deo.html (sorry, didn't have time to find a better version - audio here is pretty bad)

Lucille Ball won the 1967 Grammy and 1968 grammy for leading actress on a comedy show! this proves ......the WIN!! back to back genius!!!
That would be Emmy. A Grammy is for recordings, usually music.
I think this has to be one of the happiest fun episodes ever of this show
That’s quite a hoedown they organized in one afternoon! I love Lucy!
“Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” and “The Unsinkable Molly Brown Combined”. Such a fun and light-hearted show filled with real comedic talent. Today’s programming can’t hold a candle to this.

I miss variety shows...they were very entertaining.
The singer of that haunted song "Sixteen Tons", Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Great dancers including Lucy

The last dancer would have made a heck of an NHL goalie
This episode aired in the UK on BBC One in black and white on Saturday 31st May 1969.
According to the TV page of The Times newspaper.
With the dark hair Lucy looks like a young June Carter Cash on the Grand Ol Opry
Aw that dance would be so much fun :D

Para America en Español !!!!
Horrific. Lucille Ball and her writers forgot that they were doing a sitcom, not a variety show.
Lucy your Red hair is showing under your wig,. If they had Roy Clark & Buck Owens, it would be Hee Haw!
Who's this girl who look like Lucy
At 23 minutes wasn't that break dancing to a tee !?!? Looks like they didn't invent it -- just stole and renamed it!
Hi
