    Hope you enjoyed the show!
    Here's the link to the mod (PC AE/SE):
    www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/136245
    Just ported to Xbox, too!
    creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/da95e9c5-ef51-4d3c-9031-2a1f40261f75/Shalidors_Overlook
    Here's the suggested mod from the video:
    www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41621
    Here's a link to my playlist of ElfieMyrtle Homes:
    ua-cam.com/play/PLdvzE2TS0UFKR6f0AACWVf_cDc3KBurdz.html
    Disclaimers:
    I believe the door from the smithing area to the kitchen is slightly different in the final version.
    Remember that if you're trying to get six kids to move in, you need the Hearthfire Multiple Adoption mod, and cast "Bless This Home" in specifically the Main Hall (that you access from the portal, not the living room in the open world space).
    ElfieMyrtle said she added some weapons chests.
    Thanks for watching!

    As for the property. It's quite stunning. If a little rambling for my liking.

    • @SkyrimPlus
      @SkyrimPlus  28 днів тому +2

      Another commentor criticized my map textures in a recent video, so I switched to Flat Map Framework, which I was having trouble showing a good position from a Northern view, since it isn't like a 3d map, where you can get a better aerial view. I did show 5 different surrounding spots to make it clear and showed a world space view, so it shows its position relative to surrounding areas. It also has a fast travel map marker enabled from the start of your game, so it should be pretty easy to find and travel to.
      In other news, I've already switched back to my other map. :)

    Imagine this home with Light placer bulbs(dbottle and friends came out with a synthesis patcher for this mod)! Even more so with the Window Shadows Ultimate. I use those two mods. Or Lux(I’ve used the suite for months before). ^_^
    Also I love the floor and curtains. ❤
    Though I’ll hold off on installing because my modlist is heavy already lol(it has both LOTD and Relics of Hyrule plus the Vicn saga, and other quest mods including Olenveld). My frames would tank so hard if I added this one haha.

    • @SkyrimPlus
      @SkyrimPlus  27 днів тому +1

      I want to experiment. I got to do some testing of this before it came out, and the mod author had me disable LUX, because it can change the meshes, and she wanted it shown in its vanilla state, so I'd like to see how it could look with a few mods installed. I usually have Skyrim 202x, 4k parallax, lighting mods, tree and grass mods, etc, but I turned them off for this feature. I feel you on frame rate, although I upgraded to a 4090 not too long ago, so I don't have many problems anymore. The flooring and curtains set this home apart, especially with that cool dome ceiling, too. I play with LOTD, but I haven't hear of Relics of Hyrule or Vicn Saga, so I have some research to do. I also haven't played Olenveld yet, even though I've downloaded it. Too many videos to make right now. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @str33t3r
    @str33t3r 28 днів тому +3

    Two things... First, too bad she couldnt build this in its own world space away from the Forsworn. Second, how fantastic would it have been to be able to recruit your followers as wizards who came to train and use the place as their residence, with hiring Tolfdir as the Director, but only after the Main quest for the College has finished? In its own world soace that could have been a unique opportunity, something that hasnt been done before, but I digress.. Im still waiting on the perfect home mod in its own little world space with recruitment in mind, something like Hjertesten, but more depth, not just placing followers as warriors and sleeping in one bunk house like a one size fits all..
    But not to knock this mod, its a fantastic mod, gorgeous even, but still doesnt fit what Im looking for in a player home.. I only wish I had the ability to mod, but sadly I dont.. Maybe one day the ultimate mod will come on line, maybe one day.

    • @SkyrimPlus
      @SkyrimPlus  28 днів тому

      ElfieMyrtle won't make a mod like that in a separate world space. I speak with her about home mods fairly often, and she says she doesn't like homes in their own world space, because it feels too disconnected.
      On a separate note, did you see the new mage guild mod that came out earlier this week? Looks interesting...Maybe a little like what you're looking for, although not in it's own world space. There's also the City of Bromjunaar mod, that builds a whole city at Labyrinthian once the mage questline is done. Have you seen Havran Castle? That's in it's own world space, and they have little houses for your followers to live in.
      I'm with you on not being able to figure out the creation kit on my own.

    • @AerisShenlin
      @AerisShenlin 28 днів тому

      I can assure you that as long as you don't shoot fireballs down to the right (Broken Tower Redoubt) or over the hill past Sundered Towers, you will not aggro any Forsworn. I admit that when I first noticed how close Broken Tower Redoubt is, I very nearly ditched the project as I had similar worries. But they turned out to be unfounded. No Forsworn has set foot anywhere near, in the four months I've been building it. Remember, Sundered Towers is only used by the player, and Broken Tower Redoubt has neither sight of nor access to the home.
      As to the "own worldspace" thing, SkyrimPlus has already answered that question. I do like the idea of a mage school place though. Beyond me to script, I'm afraid. I'm just a builder.

      The only requirement of this mod to make it show up is the mod itself and the general stores requirement.
      If you want six kids to move in, you need Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions.
      If you want followers to move in, get My Home is Your Home.
      If you aren't playing an up-to-date version of the game, try using the BEES mod.
      If you want the walls in the bedroom and main hall, you need Extravagant Interiors Solitude.
