SkyrimPlus, your work featuring Skyrim's modding community is quite amazing. A pleasure viewing the beautiful and unique work of other mod authors. (Geez, you nearly pulled me out of Skyrim modding retirement to get me to open the Creation Kit again!) Thank you for your stunning video showcasing and contributions to our community.
Thank you so much, Nexbeth! You're one of the all-time greats, for sure! Both Dragonia and Riverwood Falls Manor and Bleak Mines are modding marvels. You and all of the mod authors on this list make a 13 year old game stay fresh year in and year out, and I'm always stunned by how creative you can get and have the skill to bring your vision to fruition. And if there is any way I can coax you out of retirement, let me know! :D
Hello, everyone! Hope you enjoyed the show! I have a couple of notes... I've included all of the download links for the mod in the video's description. I've also specified what platform that each mod is available for. I've included my full-length home tour links to each of these homes below. I didn't rank the homes, but feel free to let me know your opinion, or let me know if you think I left a great home out. Also, if your windows at Daisy's Retreat look different, it's because I am using Riton Solitude, which changes the windows there. I highly recommend Riton's Solitude for anyone wanting to change up their Solitude. Thanks for watching! Hope to catch you on the next episode! My Full-Length Home Tours:
Excellent homes and excellent coverage/ showcase! I, for one, greatly appreciate the timestamps and mod page links! Very professional presentation! Subscribed and Happy New Year!
Thank you for the sub and the compliment! Not only are these mods great, but the people that make them are all very approachable and hard-working. We're lucky to have them in our community!
I could say the same to you! I can't imagine how much work went into each of your 7 homes you gave to us this year. What I love about your homes is that they are truly unique, even from one another! I hope the creative juices keep flowing! Thanks for giving us so many cool homes to choose from!
Thanks, Thay! For anyone who sees this comment, Thay is the creator of several AMAZING homes! @naji_aka_Tracey Thank you! All of these homes are winners. You cant go wrong with any of them. And yes, 2025 is going to be legit with both Skyblivion and Bethesda's official remake coming out. I might have to do some quest walkthrough videos when they release. And definitely show those homes!
@@SkyrimPlus I'm glad that Meadlake and Yaholi made your list. So many of the best homes are massive works of art, but I'm always drawn to the cozier homes. Meadlake is closest to what I look for in a house mod, though it's a pity it's not follower-friendly. Those open windows in Yaholi are crazy atmospheric. That said, I love the subterranean vibes of Castle Malkast, and Havadr is an exquisite late-game home!
@@EverydayMick I almost put Yaholi in the top 10, too... It's hard to beat those large windows, right on the lake, with the unique arrow-crafting system and the winter/summer buttons. Really cool features, for sure! And Meadlake, with a great aesthetic, an outfit system, switchable paintings, and that secret room had me from day 1. And yes, there's something about rounding the corner in that cave and seeing the entrance to Castle Malkast that just makes you think, "Oh, snap! I want to see what's inside!" And that master bedroom that opens up into a cave is pretty epic. And speaking of epic, getting anywhere near Ivarstead and seeing Havardr in the distance, you must think the king of Nirn lives there. lol Don't sleep on Bright Spark Villa, either. Though it be small, it has a lot of cool features, including tons of special item storage, great location, and that outdoor crafting area is really useful and attractive.
Wow what a good year for mods. im checking out Dasys Retreat I had never seen that one before. I love your choices and Dragonia is fabulous my computer doesnt like all that beauty though LoL I have to go more conservative
:D Nothing wrong with going conservative! I would've covered Daisy's Retreat earlier, but that's right around the time where my cloned hard drive failed and I had to start all the way over, downloading each of my mods individually and solving all of the conflicts. But yes, it's a really creative home, and it has TONS of crafting stations everywhere. I love that aspect of it, and the story about the mod author's dog pulled at my heart strings, too. My cat, Nala, sits with me whenever I'm editing. She's sitting on my lap right now, in fact. I hope you were able to get the game to start again! Thanks for watching!

I honestly couldn't rank these homes. They are all really well done. Makes me eager to see what 2025 will bring us. Great video 👍🏻

@@SkyrimPlusthat would be great 👍🏻
Great video! Keep on going.
@@TheFunkybirds Thank you! I will, for sure! I'm ready to show what 2025 has to offer!
One day, modding will take us so far, we'd be able to turn Skyrim into an Open World Survivalcraft and be able to build our own homes.
I'd be down for that! I'll be interested to see if anyone can make home mods for Skyblivion or the Oblivion remake, too...
2024 was a great year for house mods!
For sure! Can't wait to see what 2025 holds... I spy a couple I'm interested in seeing already. :D #skyrimhomemodaddiction
