Hey thanks I’m so relieved that so far I’ve got all my measurements right and all the cut outs have been accurate. Can’t wait to finish and put up some varnish
It is moving forward so well James, the paneling will look amazing when varnished. Marlon continues to be a star. Take care of yourself mate. can't wait for the next instalment.
James - you really should treat the plywood before installing, as the void between steel & spray foam moisture & condensation will form. Clear wood treatment, easy to apply & quick dry time and not expensive!
As always I’m proud of you! Chris had a video on this week where he helped a young girl and it reminded me of another narrow boater who found a woman on his boat! I believe that was you. What is it with you guys and women in distress? 😂🤣😂
Great work. It's going to look amazing varnished 😊 I love that music. We are cruising past North Kilworth in a vlog soon. It would be good to play a bit as we go past 😅 🙏
That’s a beautiful lock free stretch of the canal. If you stop at the wharf - say hi to Jonny from me will you. Try to do the welford arm of you have time - good pub at the terminus Enjoy and thanks for the comment I’ll watch that one for sure 🥰
Teamwork makes the dream work! Any plans for double glazed windows & some good seals around the edges? Would help with keeping the heat in, I’d imagine!
Looking great! You are doing a great job. But please don’t strain your back, ask for help. When does the stove get fitted? Looks like the weather is deteriorating. 😊🤗 Kathy
The stove is coming on the 22nd so 3 weeks to get the galley pretty much done and the ceiling up and fireproofing done. I also should have the portholes in by then and have worked out how to make a pocket door. Oh and have kids all the time No worries Thanks Me
Great work James, really coming on! Have you still got your cross clamps that go wall to wall? Wouldn’t they hold the boards in place while you screw them in?
Upper walls look real good, James, well done mate! Transformed the whole look of the boat
If you take the top pane of glass out of the hopper windows you could use a clamp through the opening to hold the panels in place.
Amazing how much difference it makes having those boards up. Looking so much better.
You really do have some great mates, Marlon is a star.
Love it when the cosmetic parts go in!
Yeah me too and I wasn’t expecting the walls to be anywhere near ‘cosmetic’ just by putting them up by alas they’re looking great as they are.
Thanks
Gosh James, what a difference in just a couple of days. You are so hard working. I am really enjoying watching the transformation. 😊
Hey thanks

What a difference that has made 😮☺️
Good work James
I wish you had put up Plexiglass instead of wood on the walls, I'm going to miss that beautiful yellow spray foam...
Just a quick thought james are the window cut outs large enough to make kitchen door fronts?
Some of them should be, yes. But even the smaller offcuts are large enough to be used somewhere else.
Looking good so far, you have ma de a lot of progress.
Nice work mate 👍👍👏👏

nice work good to progress 😁
Screw something to the gunnel to carry the board rather than struggle. Well done so far.
When doing the ceiling think along those same lines.
9:47 like the window you did last year I think or so aluminium

Yea, great work James. Could there be a new job in a boatyard fitting out new boats.
have you thought about a car jack on a sawhorse, to hold most of the weight?
Well probably done by now with the rest.
Just a thought. Very nice work.

A few sheets of wood and it's suddenly looking like a narrowboat.
