Even in countries with general healthcare, therapy is not always easy to get, especially if you're not clinically insane and don't have obvious, life-threatening psychological conditions. Honestly, I know this is all going to unravel at some point, but this is *literally* the kind of plot I've been wanting for a while, at least for a few episodes here and there: where Adam and Alan actually get to relearn how to be human beings and work in a semi-reasonable corporate environment that isn't just Rowan's playground. Is there really such a thing as a "semi-reasonable corporate environment"?
@@cyberius7042 Well, this is New Zealand, remember. It's easier to find reasonable corporate environments outside of the US (though there are a few in the States as well) because many other countries have different cultures or even outright laws prohibiting (or at least reducing) the amount of exploitation corporations can exact on their workers.
I like this plot too. Rowan’s playground can be funny, but the extreme injustice that happens to regular workers was way too much for me much of the time.
Interesting plot device might be that Rowan’s dad is the mastermind behind a plan to divide the workgroup purposefully and have to the two sides fight it out in store.

i think theres gonna be a reason she is like that, like an episode where the others also turn into "tryhards". maybe she is scared or wants to be paid a lot idk we will see
The way I see it, Britt is the social climber. Try hard is a good word too. In any business, corporate, retail or otherwise. You have at least one person who is a general employee but hungers for a promotion, so he/she is always sucking up to the manager, always volunteering for extra work, but is incredibly spiteful to his/her coworkers because they could potentially get the promotion instead of the try hard.

Anyone notice how obedient Britt seems to be? I can tell something’s up, we might get to see what Rowans dad and Rhi are hiding. 😂
nah, I think she's playing the "suck up" employee everyone hates
Mus suspicion is that there are some sceletons in a closet, and Britt is part of it.
Maybe wishful thinking but one may hope
With Rhi saying "pay is according to one's performance" Britt is just trying to get that money.
No, guys…. The joke is that her coworkers were fired on a whim, and she’s the only one left. So she’s doing everything she can to make sure it doesn’t happen to her.
It is hard competitive environment. Mobbing, bossing will be common.
There's something about seeing Rowan miserable that makes you happy.
It's cool that they "remember" small details from previous episodes, and not a new day - with a clean memory 🤩💣💙
Good to see Ellie getting to know how it feels to get a massive pay cut
Rather getting paid actually what she's worth
If it was worth based the rate would go up several orders of magnitude … friendly reminder that 15$USD/hr is well below everyone on earths worth, and is little more than indentured servitude. If it was worth based you’d also pay fast food workers and shop workers more than programmers
@@2010RSHACKS no. You're only worth what money you pull in and how important your skill is. A fast food worker can be working 12 hour shifts but that job doesn't require years of study, preparation or passing difficult exams to get to good colleges.
Economics is not emotions.
Though yes some people can def stand to be paid more but not 100s of dollars
I love how Britt always maintains the crazy eyes, even when she's just standing there.
...in character. Out of character she looks lovely.
I do hope she is just like a psychotic character it’s been funny so far
She's scary!!!
I think rowan did some work on her
I watched the last few ep twice, first normal, and second I only look at Brit, It's fascinating. Like WOW this is oscar winning shit right there
@@leifsolheim7279 The moment Britt secretly grabs a box cutter will be when Bored turns into Dead By Daylight Logic. 😆
I love how Rowan is always playing the game of thrones.
So good to see Rowan get his due after all these years.
I love that this episode recalls to two old ones - the one with Ellie's pay being absurdly high and the one, where Adam "damaged store property"
If Ellie saved her money she would have made well over $700 Grand. She wouldn't need to work at Tech Town.
@@raistlinmajere7149 is she the reason the store went out of business lol.
Rowan being upset because this place is actual run properly is entirely in character for him 😂 also so happy to see Alan and Adam finally making decent money for all they put up with 💰
second episode and the tension builds. Big Brother was never as good as this
I think they should have a poll to see who should be the manager.
