Compared to the 2006 version this is also pretty amazing. They always change up their songs a little bit and I guess that made each show unique even if it's the same song. Like that scream of chester at the beginning that they added that wasn't in the 2006 live version. Also I love how Mike is rapping more aggressive and louder here, kinda suits the tone of this song. Super fucking epic!!!! My favorite heavy song of LP. So unfortunate that I never attended one concert of theirs. Would have been the experience of a life time. Poor Chester couldn't take the shit this world kept throwing at him. Seemed like such a kind and gentle soul from the way he spoke and carried himself. He always seemed so considerate of others. Hope you're rocking out in a better place now my man!
Wow I remember trying to search for this version... never being able to find it... well found it, I have this audio saved for more than 10 years and I was thinking about uploading it, well I don't need anymore :) ~Also see people saying that they prefer the 2006 version, I think that's probably because it was the first one you heard, I heard this one first and prefer this over the other, the vocals are better here... but again it could be just because I heard this first, but well everyone has different taste and that's good.
he's using fry screams in this version while he uses metal screams in 2006. um... I kind of like both better, but because I kind of got used to the 2006 version, I favor that more this one. It's common sense! And Mike said that their new album will be something that is really brand new, something we've never heard before.
@@driftkim7015 It was actually the opposite for him. He had more trouble fry screaming/singing as he got older, but never had trouble with actual screams. The metal screams are lower and more guttural. His fry screams have more pitch and are harder to maintain constantly with the level of grit that he uses on the album. You can see progression videos of his flat out screaming over the years...they barely changed at all.

Sorry i forgot to write in english , i'm studying inglés , in some aspects yes but not in others, besides chester could sing heavier here but he did not do it to avoid damaging his voice, if you notice at this time he sang given up with more powerful screams so we understand that chester did not want to do the screams here to take care of his voice, also chester's voice was very good until 2009 from 2010 onwards began to decline even though he still sounded great but he was losing it, his mistake not taking time to rest his voice.
I agree woth @Atharva bc in 2006.he sounds nothing like the studio version and in 2006 he was back on drugs and was losing his voice and in 2007 he was off them and had his prime voice
Don't forget Blackout Victimized and Lies Greed Misery, heavy vocals from soft albums And The Hunting Party, that's a metal album Just listen to War or Keys to the kingdom

because fry scream can scream longer than Metal screams

First time they played the song live since 2006. LPLive is your friend.
Projekt Revolution 2007 In San Francisco(USA) 29-07-2007

Don't forget Blackout Victimized and Lies Greed Misery, heavy vocals from soft albums
