Wow! Exactly the problem I started to have after 4 years of washing my cars. Was looking for a video on how to take it apart without destroying it. I think you may have saved my pressure washer from a really bad death. Going to try this tomorrow! Thank you!
Try letting the water flow for about 1-3 minutes and take out the nozzle and pull the trigger while the unit is OFF. In resetting the GCFI, make sure it's plugged in, then you can PRESS and HOLD for about 3-5 seconds (light will turn off letting you know it reset is done). Then you can TURN ON the washer. 😃

Good luck. Your problem could be more severe than what this fixes.

Your video help me tremendously....no more pulsating on my SunJOE SPX3001...thanks a million.
Great to hear!
Having this exact problem. Thanks!
Mine won’t even do that little start up noise
Mine wouldn't even start 😢. Water coming out from the wand freely without power but the motor won't start. There's power on the cord.
I had a different problem. Mine just shut off and wouldn’t turn back on, but I followed these steps and it started again.
Thanks 👍👍
