I'm getting some mixed feedback on this video. Here's the link to the original video which is where I took the title from. I thought the video was cute and enjoyed the baby pictures of Dimash, as well as all the information they gave. I never intended to mislead or post something "bad". I'm not at all familiar with The World's Best but apparently something terrible happened there. I love Dimash and if you all watch my videos, you know that. Thank you for that and I changed the title of the video. I wasn't real comfortable with it in the first place. I hate those videos that say "...and this happened" but I took the title from the original video. Hopefully with the new title and thumbnail it's a little better. Dearest Debbie, I completely adore you and your reactions and the way you bacame a Dear. I have been lucky by complete accident (because youtube algorhytm suggested this to me, titled The Best Voice in the World, so I clicked it) to find Dimash performing in the first episode of The Singer back in 2017. So I was following all his carrier live as it unfolded. I remember that The Worlds Best competition was advertised very heavily and I was waiting so much for it and for USA to see Dimash's talent. And to tell it was huge disappointment is to say nothing. It was a major compromitation for CBS, format, judges and everyone involved in the production of it. They had no idea who they invited. We could never tell when next episode will be aired, so I often waited in vain, just to know they moved it to, probably, next week or so. And Dimashs contestands included hypnotising dog (yes!), singing nun and of course kids, including Danelya Tuleshova from his home country of Kazakhstan (please check her out, it is worthy) whom he supports so much.They cut his performances terribly to 2 minutes, cut out his Kazakh song of Daididau (for which he brought students from Kazakhstan to perform in it), laughed at his traditional Kazakh robe he was wearing. The episode, where he announced the quitting, they cut and put events not in the order that they truly happened to make Dimash look like a coward who is afraid to perform against kids. Ru Paul and Faith Hill, who were judges, also insulted him a lot. There were 2 Dears in the audience, who were live eyewitnesses to all that was happening during that unfortunate contest and they recorded their relation. I will find the link for you and I think you should watch it as it is part of Dimash bio and history. Dimash quit the show and let 1 mln dollars, which was the main prize win by some Indian boy who played the piano. He also announced it was the last competition he participated in. Unfortunately they titled this video poorly because the Dears are very upset about how Dimash was treated on World’s Best, but this focuses on his musical life and very little about Worlds Best, believe me if you saw that, you’d be beyond upset in a really not Dear sort of way 🤬! @@thequestionqueens First of all, Dimash asked if children would be competing, he was told no, the contestants were kept away from one another up until the end, then Dimash found out that he was competing with a 12 and 13 year old child (children), a little boy who played piano and a little girl who sings, and also happens to be from Kazakhstan and Dimash is definitely one of her idols, but I digress. After Dimash performed a song, James Cordon announced that Dimash had something he would like to say, a translator came out, Dimash thanked everyone graciously for the opportunity to perform for them, but said that he wanted to step out of the competition and let the 2 young children advance. The 3 judges (primary), were Faith Hill, Drew Barrymore and RuePaul, who referred to Dimash stepping down as BS, Faith made some stupid comparison, something about going on stage where Whitney Houston had performed, Drew Barrymore didn’t comment, James asked the representative judge from Kazakhstan her opinion and she stated that it was against Dimash’s culture for adults to compete with children, children were encouraged and developed. Honestly to get the full impact, you’d have to see the short clip but Dimash repeatedly said what an honor it was to be there and RuePaul was such a horrible representative of America, I have no use for him at all, Dimash clearly knew that he was being insulted by the look on his face and he was a definite favorite to win the 1 million dollar prize. This happened in season one, there was not a season two. As an American citizen I was extremely disappointed in his treatment, honestly I was furious. Momma Bear came out of me , big time.
You will again lose your mind with Olympico. I hope you do the MV Be With Me. It is so much fun and you get to see his acting, some of his fighting skills, Dimash with no shirt in a pool etc. He is so cocky in the MV and when he put it out he did a little video to say it was coming out and that the fans had never seen him like that and he hoped we enjoyed the video. I think he was a little worried since the character was ...out of character for him but it is so much fun. Of course we loved it.
I just can't watch this one Debbie, sorry, they were so cruel and disrespectful to Dimash, I will never watch this performance again due to the unkind treatment of Dimash. A commenter corrected me, I thought from the thumbnail it was a specific performance at a talent contest held in America where he was treated unfairly, but I was informed it is NOT that performance but a doc on him....so I'll watch :). They should not have used Worlds Best in the title, it’s really about Dimash’s musical life, from toddler up to current and World’s Best is only mentioned for a minute, stating that he stepped down because he wouldn’t compete against children. I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to use World’s Best in the title of the video because the Dear’s are not going to forgive or forget how Dimash was handled, except by James Cordon, who was very respectful. Just wanted to let you know ❤.

lol you're so funny. I am crazier than you but I'm 69 years old so I've had a lot of practice. I love the tattoo! I won't watch anything from The World and I used to like Ru Paul but won't watch anything with him anymore because of how he treated Dimash. He threw a hissy fit when Dimash graciously quit. You could tell Dimash was angry but he held himself back. The reason he quit The World is he was told he wouldn't compete against kids and he found out they had lied to him and kids were in the competition, so he quit. If you want to see Dimash with an angry face, watch that episode. If you like Ru Paul, you won't have that.
I agree. They choose an unfortunate name for this video. It’s a good video and there's a lot of information. But The World’s Best…😥. You know, as a rule, most Dears boycott these performances by The Worlds Best. Dimash was lied to and scammed before this show to sign for this show. In his culture, children are encouraged and not competed. When Dimash asked if he would have to compete against kids on this show, he was assured that he didn't have to. Otherwise he would never have signed. When he happened to bump into the then 12-year-old Daneliya Tuleshova backstage at his last performance (the artists were strictly separate), he learned that he had to compete not only with her, but also with a 7-year-old boy. He then performed and immediately asked the jury for his resignation. The jury's reaction was beyond offensive and inappropriate. I'm sending you two links so you can get an idea of how unworthy the jury behaved if you want. I also saw a video where the two presenters made it look like Dimash had resigned because he was afraid of losing to the kids. The first link shows the appearance and retirement in the finale and the second link is from two eyewitnesses who were present at that show and can testify that Dimash was screwed. I love Dimash for his integrity that his principles go over $1 million. I still get angry when I write about it Not only did they shorten and mutilate his songs until it hurts, no. He also performed a song in Kazakh, hence his traditional robe. They eliminated that entirely. We all know how proud he is of his Kazakh homeland and loves to show it to the world and it really hurts. I know you wouldn't intentionally post anything hurtful or rude, but just to fill you in about why Dimash dears don't like anything to do with The World's Best: before agreeing to go on the show Dimash was assured there were no child participants as they don't participate against children in his culture. He was lied to and there were 2 young girls. So after a little bit, Dimash performed and then very politely thanked the show for having him on, but said it's time for him to take a step back, and for the children to take a step forward. Ru Paul, then began berating Dimash (I could've jumped through my telly to defend him), shouting about 'how dare he come on and disrepect the show'! Dimash was nothing but respectful and just because he has morals and did what he believed was right, they treated him like garbage.:(

You will again lose your mind with Olympico. I hope you do the MV Be With Me. It is so much fun and you get to see his acting, some of his fighting skills, Dimash with no shirt in a pool etc. He is so cocky in the MV and when he put it out he did a little video to say it was coming out and that the fans had never seen him like that and he hoped we enjoyed the video. I think he was a little worried since the character was ...out of character for him but it is so much fun. Of course we loved it.

I just can't watch this one Debbie, sorry, they were so cruel and disrespectful to Dimash, I will never watch this performance again due to the unkind treatment of Dimash. A commenter corrected me, I thought from the thumbnail it was a specific performance at a talent contest held in America where he was treated unfairly, but I was informed it is NOT that performance but a doc on him....so I'll watch :). Thank you to Nohexakron for reaching out to me to let me know this was a doc on DQ, thank you! Wonderful and amazing!! 👏♥

They should not have used Worlds Best in the title, it’s really about Dimash’s musical life, from toddler up to current and World’s Best is only mentioned for a minute, stating that he stepped down because he wouldn’t compete against children. I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to use World’s Best in the title of the video because the Dear’s are not going to forgive or forget how Dimash was handled, except by James Cordon, who was very respectful. Just wanted to let you know ❤.

lol you're so funny. I am crazier than you but I'm 69 years old so I've had a lot of practice. I love the tattoo! I won't watch anything from The World and I used to like Ru Paul but won't watch anything with him anymore because of how he treated Dimash. He threw a hissy fit when Dimash graciously quit. You could tell Dimash was angry but he held himself back. The reason he quit The World is he was told he wouldn't compete against kids and he found out they had lied to him and kids were in the competition, so he quit. If you want to see Dimash with an angry face, watch that episode. If you like Ru Paul, you won't have that.

I agree. They choose an unfortunate name for this video. It’s a good video and there's a lot of information. But The World’s Best…😥. You know, as a rule, most Dears boycott these performances by The Worlds Best.
Dimash was lied to and scammed before this show to sign for this show. In his culture, children are encouraged and not competed. When Dimash asked if he would have to compete against kids on this show, he was assured that he didn't have to. Otherwise he would never have signed. When he happened to bump into the then 12-year-old Daneliya Tuleshova backstage at his last performance (the artists were strictly separate), he learned that he had to compete not only with her, but also with a 7-year-old boy. He then performed and immediately asked the jury for his resignation. The jury's reaction was beyond offensive and inappropriate.
I'm sending you two links so you can get an idea of how unworthy the jury behaved if you want. I also saw a video where the two presenters made it look like Dimash had resigned because he was afraid of losing to the kids. The first link shows the appearance and retirement in the finale and the second link is from two eyewitnesses who were present at that show and can testify that Dimash was screwed. I love Dimash for his integrity that his principles go over $1 million.

Not only did they shorten and mutilate his songs until it hurts, no. He also performed a song in Kazakh, hence his traditional robe. They eliminated that entirely. We all know how proud he is of his Kazakh homeland and loves to show it to the world and it really hurts.

I know you wouldn't intentionally post anything hurtful or rude, but just to fill you in about why Dimash dears don't like anything to do with The World's Best: before agreeing to go on the show Dimash was assured there were no child participants as they don't participate against children in his culture. He was lied to and there were 2 young girls. So after a little bit, Dimash performed and then very politely thanked the show for having him on, but said it's time for him to take a step back, and for the children to take a step forward. Ru Paul, then began berating Dimash (I could've jumped through my telly to defend him), shouting about 'how dare he come on and disrepect the show'! Dimash was nothing but respectful and just because he has morals and did what he believed was right, they treated him like garbage.:(
