I started watching La Liga in the early 2000’s and had the privilege of watching Diego Forlan play for Villarreal & Atletico Madrid. In my opinion, Diego was just as good, if not actually better, than Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo . His play for Uruguay was phenomenal and he was key to that team’s strong showings in World Cup play. Diego had a cannon on either left or right foot. This highlight video is one of the best, period.

You need to understand what level Forlan shot is, he strike the ball with ether foot outside the box and with such power and accuracy , incredible
